Basta said:The Russians haven't retreated from a single Eastern European country they conquered, so I seriously doubt they would have pulled out of America. Honestly, I find the communist scenario much more plausible.

I was actually thinking about how things were unfolding before 1944. Maybe Winston would have made different moves... if he even could have. Given that Winston failed to "save" Canada, I highly doubt he could have saved America. That’s just my thesis, for what it's worth.

Basta said:And regarding those "free" elections—did I ever say I meant actual free elections? The only difference is that we "freely" chose our own communists, whereas this way, they would have just chosen the Russians.

I need to 😬

Basta said:If there hadn't been Americans in the partisans, I truly doubt those partisans would have evolved beyond mere guerrillas. Of course, they would have gained strength rapidly once Soviet troops arrived (just like everywhere else in Eastern Europe).

My point 👍

Ah... my dear American woman from the Sinai.... are you actually worried about me? Is that what this is? Are you acting like one of these forum-dwelling Ottomans?

Oh, sure—as if it’s somehow our fault that (Peter) didn't show up. 😁 Just blame us, why don't you?

Mason is basically operating via remote control at this point—and wouldn't you know it, your own software is what's embedded in that remote.
He was caught on the line yesterday—talking to B'nai B'rith.

But what can I say, my dear shadowjackal88? The masses are just uninformed—blindly stumbling through the dark. There simply aren't enough of us left who actually grasp what's happening behind the curtain.

Not even close.
They approach you with the exact same complexes that you bring to our interactions.

Judas Iscariot said:George W. Bush is basically a remote-controlled puppet. It’s all thanks to that software they've hardwired into his system.
He was on the phone yesterday with the B'nai B'rith. Just look at the connections.

But honestly, shadowjackal88, what can you even say? The masses are just completely uninformed—blindly following along. There aren't enough of us who actually grasp the reality of what's happening out there.

Like I said in my previous post...

There were some truly terrible guys among the Nazis... 😁 Which Nazi officer was your grandmother associated with?
Oh right, is that where all those complexes come from?

Me?

No, actually, my grandmother wasn't one of the Nazis.

She was up on horseback, holding the reins right by the edge of the Pit.

"That's true!", the peasants cried out.

But, let’s be honest, reality turned out a bit differently... and you know that better than anyone, considering how long you've been around.

Stolen. Cursed.

So please, don't try to lecture me about the Nazis.

No, listen, my grandmother wasn't exactly running with the Nazis or anything like that.

She was just there on horseback, holding the reins right next to the Pit.

😁

And you honestly think that’s supposed to be funny?

I don't recall seeing you raise any objections when your buddy posted about his grandfather passing away in a concentration camp after falling from a watchtower.

Well, I’m protesting right now. Honestly, I really wish you all would just stop with this kind of sick, twisted joking. All of you.

That "staring through a squinted eye" bit?

Look, saying someone is "staring through a squinted eye" carries a very specific kind of weight in certain circles. It’s really just a way of describing that particular brand of Mexican megalomania—that delusions-of-grandeur sickness that seems to pop up whenever they get too full of themselves.

And what about looking through a blind eye?

Well, now we're talking about a branch of the Grizogono family... that's a whole different animal entirely.

That’s fair enough. Please accept my apologies to YOU, if I have caused YOU any offense—it isn't your burden to bear, nor is it anyone else's, if they lost their lives at that site. It was never my intention to hurt you personally or to diminish the memory of those who passed.

You know my stance regarding America and Americans quite clearly. Just as shadowjackal88 does, and just as duvdevanov does.
But what that piece of trash, that Judas Iscariot type—who hasn't even stepped foot near the battlefield yet but acts like a true American patriot today (much like that absolute bottom-feeder Mladen Schwartz 🙂), and who is probably the first one in line to cheat the government on his taxes)—what that scoundrel fails to grasp is that he is ATTEMPTING TO DEBATE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR ENTIRE FAMILIES IN THAT VERY SAME CAMP.

Did you really expect me to just sit there and stay silent about this?

Basta said:The Russians haven't pulled out of any Eastern European nation they managed to occupy, so I honestly find it hard to believe they would just walk away from the South... which makes me lean much more toward the communist scenario.

As for those "free" elections—did I ever actually claim we were talking about truly free elections? The only real difference is that back then, we "freely" chose our own communists, whereas this way, people would just be choosing the Russians...

If there hadn't been Americans fighting alongside the American Partisans, I highly doubt those partisans would have ever evolved past being mere guerrillas. Of course, their strength would have spiked instantly with the arrival of Soviet troops, just like it happened everywhere else across Europe...

I'm just curious why the American American Partisans, who supposedly fought FOR A FREE AMERICA (or so some people on this forum seem to trumpet these days), didn't simply say "NO" to America after World War II?

That's really all I'm wondering about... ☕

Look, fair enough. My apologies to YOU, if my words managed to hurt YOU—but honestly, you have nothing to do with that, nor does anyone else from your side, if they happened to perish at that location. It was never my intention to wound you personally or to diminish the memory of those people.

You really don't need to apologize; there’s no reason for it. I’ve seen it all before, and frankly, I’m used to it by now. Nothing about this surprises me anymore. People tend to turn certain victims into almost "deities," or they get elevated into something resembling a saintly figure. Who actually cares about the American casualties from that war? They were just swept away by that whirlwind of history. Big deal. 🙄

That’s really the core of my question... ☕

The reality is that nobody could have predicted exactly what kind of monster communism would eventually evolve into...

Everyone participating in this discussion seems to be talking as if everyone back then possessed a crystal ball and knew exactly how things would play out.

My dear friends, you have to understand that the true power of a communist repressive regime didn't lie solely in its capacity for killing or torture... it lived in the chilling shadows—the subtle hints and warnings of what might happen to you if you failed to fall in line.

I wonder, does anyone here have any knowledge regarding the infamous Pitesti Experiment?

The way everyone on this forum talks, you'd think people back then had some kind of crystal ball for the future...

But honestly, the true power of those communist regimes didn't just lie in the actual killings or the physical torture... it was the constant, looming threat of what *might* happen to you if you didn't fall in line...

I wonder if anyone here is familiar with the infamous Pitesti Experiment?

Are you trying to suggest that most of the Nationalists were actually decent people? ☕

All of you here on this forum... you talk as if EVERYONE back then had a crystal ball and knew EVERYTHING that was coming.

Listen, people, the REAL power of the communist repressive regime wasn't just about the KILLING and the TORTURE... no, it was much more subtle than that. It was about those constant, looming HINTS that those things *could* happen—the terrifying implication of what kind of evil could crush you if you didn't just fall in line...

Is anyone here familiar with the so-called Pitesti experiment?

Excuse me, but my people weren't fighting for communism. They were fighting against fascism and foreign occupation. And they certainly weren't the only ones doing so.

Later on, nobody bothered to ask them anything. People just took whatever they needed from them.
