Hitched myself to a wedding expo today. Those favor boxes are priced at $1.00 per unit—special deal for both large and small sizes—over at that studio in Central City that handles everything from invitations to thank-you notes. Name escapes me...

I’ve already vouched for sweet secret out of that Suburban town for dessert favors. Their sweets are top-tier, just pricey at $27/kg. That said, I stumbled upon some pastries from the Mouse bakery over by the Riverbank near Indianapolis at the last expo. Absolutely delicious, and only $18/kg. They were solid back then, and I bet they still are 🙂

Nutrapek is also exhibiting at this show, though I haven't had a chance to sample their 😢

Just some info from the trade show, though I didn't get a chance to dig deep into it yet. Maybe I'll have more luck researching today... A bakery out in Indianapolis sells pounds of pastries for $16, absolute bargain prices. They deliver to New York City without any issues and everything is negotiable.

I’ve actually ordered from them before—definitely recommend them if you want. They're dirt cheap, but the pastries are honestly phenomenal—delicious, look great, and the staff is incredibly kind and professional. Plus, they handle refrigerated deliveries perfectly, and they're really flexible with arrangements. They do about 130 different kinds of homemade sweets. Solid 5/5 recommendation; you won't regret it.👍 👍 👍 !!!

p.s. oh, and they go by Bond Pro. If anyone's interested, I can DM you their number. You can find assorted packs at Walmart and Billi, though they're a bit pricier there...

Yeah, I actually checked in with a friend of mine from Indianapolis. She says they're awesome.
I still need to look into it, though—there's this one company out in Appalachia that works for $15/kg.

There’s this lady out in the countryside near St. Louis who does private baking...
It’s about $7 a pound...
The cakes are $33,
and if you order from her, you get a $133 for the wedding day...

I just wanted to clarify that those aren't even her cookies in the photo, but I actually hand-delivered them to her myself, so I'm demanding they look exactly like that...

Haha, oh man, that is just hilarious!👍 Honestly, I am still struggling so much with deciding who to actually hire. I guess I’m just as incredibly picky when it comes to desserts as anyone else, and I really need to make a final decision and get everything booked within the next week or so, otherwise I'll be panicking about being too late and just want to get this whole thing off my plate. So, if you don't mind me asking, maybe you could send me that lady's phone number in a private message? 🙂 Just in case I can't find anything better, then I can go ahead and start making all those same demanding requests myself! 😁 🤣

Hey ladies, please DM me some phone numbers for cookie bakers... I'm looking for recommendations on where you used to work. 😍 Sly, I’m looking at you specifically—I remember you raving about them, and honestly, just thinking about those cookies makes my mouth water.
And obviously, let's talk prices... $37 per kg for M&M style; $30 per kg from Vincek... is there anything more budget-friendly out there? If I recall correctly, prices were hovering around $23😕. Please, drop the info... love you guys! 😘 😘

Paul Barnes4, who actually baked those? Where from, and what was the price? You know how we all get when it comes to these details here.😁
btw, I think someone mentioned some cookies being baked by someone up in Appalachia for about $15/lb—that’s pretty close to where I am, so let's hear it: who, where exactly, and how can we actually get a taste?😬

The stuff from Ive11 comes out of Indianapolis, Bond Pro, $16/kg... check his previous posts; Ive11 also provides a phone number via DM.😉

They're at the top of the list
Some friends of mine had their treats before and they were honestly amazing
I'm thinking about giving them a call pretty soon to see if anything has changed and when I should put in my order for the cookies.

I am planning on picking up some pastries from Indianapolis, and I have been weighing the merits of their cake as well; has anyone here actually tried one? I’m curious if they are truly worth the cost. My initial instinct was to order from Vincek, but frankly, their prices have become quite outrageous. They hiked everything up right after that big wedding day back in September at the Globe...

I already sent you a message about their sweets—there’s even a photo right above this🙂 ....

I suppose I didn't express myself with much clarity; while I am certainly planning on grabbing some cookies, my actual inquiry concerns the custom cake🙂

Sorry—my bad, I totally misread the situation.🙂 I can't really speak to the cake situation—mine was actually from Vincek, but a gift from the restaurant. It was seriously delicious, though I'll admit they aren't exactly cheap.

Honestly, I’m still totally torn on who to order this cake from, so if anyone actually knows what their stuff tastes like, please let me know!
Has anyone here ever ordered cakes from that bakery out in the Suburban town area?

Down in Kansas City, they gave me a quote $233 for a crowd of 100, decorations included, though I haven't even tasted the goods yet; meanwhile, Vince is asking 1200, and that’s assuming we don't start adding fancy flourishes...
if their cookies actually turn out decent, then maybe—just maybe—their cakes won't be a total disaster too. 👍
