potpis 👍
It’s just ridiculous. We aren't even going to be able to use our hands. We have these damn pincers 😬 (or whatever the technical term is, jaw 🤔)

But then again, I suppose that just means we'll be eating with a fork instead... 😉

We sliced the cake, then grabbed another slice just for good measure, set it on our plates, and headed back to the table 😬

No sense in overthinking things if you don't want to 😉

You're absolutely right, Mayo, everyone just does what works best for them personally... 😬 I suppose for some people, playing the circus act is just their way of getting by...

Another reason to skip it—if I rush through something sweet, I always end up feeling nauseous. Exactly what I don't need tonight.

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Bobis.

We ordered a cake from them for about 100 people—not more, $233.

It was a mix of stracciatella, parfait, and chocolate.

Everyone loved it and kept asking for seconds; there wasn't a single crumb left.

Visually, it was stunning. Honestly, it looked even better than the photo I used for the order. A very pleasant surprise.

To be fair, Bobis was our only real option since they’re the only ones with reliable delivery out to Maui, given they have their own cafe and bakery there.
But yeah, it turned out brilliant. 🙂
If anyone actually wants to see a photo, let me know and I'll send it over.

I’m down if it works for everyone else... I think I'm somewhere between them and the Mississippi Delta...

I actually have an aunt who’s a pastry chef, but I’m still dying to see a photo of that cake! I’ve always been a bit of a curious soul... 😬 plus, I love soaking up new ideas whenever I can... hehe

Take this one, for example.

Do you guys honestly think anyone can pull this off?

Here’s mine, inspired by Bobis. It’s listed in the catalog as "The Surprise Gift"

I have no idea if this will actually work. I've never tried anything like this before.

Just so we’re clear, I didn't actually get a chance to taste the cake.

We didn't end up having that whole "cake frenzy" moment, and honestly, I wasn't even really in the mood for it.

By the time I finally decided to grab a slice, it was already gone. 🙂🤷

Oh, please!😁

Where would they even start? I mean, seriously—you just grab the photo and go, "Hey there... excuse me... could you possibly..." hahahah!🤣

Yeah, I actually get mine through my employer's benefits package.
Honestly, their cakes are incredible. I just can't say much about how they look visually 😬

And hey, why don't you try sending me a photo? Maybe—if I can get my hands on it—I might actually be able to whip something up for you!

I'm gonna try 😬
When we finally sit down for this talk, I’m bringing ten different photos of the turtle along just in case. Let's see how that goes 🙂

It looks lovely. 😁 Are those top two sections supposed to be heart-shaped? It seems a little short and wide to me, but I assume that was the intention—it's all subjective, I guess.

Man, I really hope that doesn't happen to me. 😂

Anyway, I might ask a question about 🙄 later, but I think Bobis is located somewhere down in Florida. They don't operate in New York City, so I wonder if they even do deliveries, right? 😁

It’s not actually heart-shaped. The middle section is square, while the top part is rounded.
I picked it straight from their catalog. It originally came with a blue bow, but I specifically requested lavender.

In person, it was adorable—honestly, better than the photos. To be fair, the cake wasn't my main priority since we were limited by having the wedding on an island and dealing with delivery logistics, so I just took the path of least resistance. Still, I'm really happy with how it turned out 🙂

The bakery is based out of Orlando, but since we were in New York, they had to ship it all the way down to our island destination.

I'm not entirely sure how they handle orders in places like Chicago, though they have their own boutiques in areas like Beverly Hills or maybe near a high-end district, but I can't say for sure.
