William Williams13 said:To be honest, everything we tried from Sweet Delights tasted incredibly repetitive, almost like they were all made with the same tub of margarine. We ended up spending quite a bit of time browsing before finally settling on some treats from Tom & Nancy's... I'm crossing my fingers they turn out better. Does anyone here have any experience with them?

From what we tried, they definitely weren't made of pure margarine. I mentioned that the one thing I really didn't want was for everyone to end up with that same repetitive taste, yet somehow, that's exactly what happened. I honestly have no idea how it went so wrong.🤷

Kevin White5 said:I was checking out some cookies and wedding cakes from Boeing. Anyone actually used them before? They look alright... I guess.

Me 😁
tried their cookies a couple months back—they were delicious. But we left them out on the counter and by the next day they had the texture of paper. Not sure how long they’d been sitting there, but I can't leave their bigger stuff—especially anything creamy—out of the fridge. Their cakes are great though, especially the cheesecake and pistachio ones.

How many pounds of cake does Boeing have sitting around right now?
We just got a recommendation to pick up some M&M's and sugar...

I'd say it was about 60- $22
They were actually pretty great at the fair—it's just a shame they didn't have them available at the bakery back in

Does anyone have any thoughts or perhaps some seasoned reviews regarding the local bakery, Sweet Treats?🙂

So, did anyone actually have a food truck at their wedding?

I have a question... does anyone know where I can pick up some nicer cake toppers besides the selection at Target? 🤷

You can actually find some of their treats over at Fifty-Fifty ☕

Personally, I’ve always preferred their cakes and pies... 😍 😍 😍
Maybe just head over there and grab a sample, then you can decide for yourself.

We actually had them bundled in with our catering package, so hearing that really made my day.😍

Is that right? Well, wonderful. I have to head over there anyway to pick up some grease, balloons, and other "nonsense."😁

Check out Dora’s online shop or one of their good partners in Chicago...

Here are the flavors we picked for our cake:

Bottom tier - largest - Devil's Food chocolate cake
Second tier - raspberry Red Velvet with fresh cream cheese
Third tier - carrot cake with cream cheese frosting
Top tier - dark chocolate and orange

And here's a photo:

Keep in mind, I'll be making edible bows and badges myself. 😁

I'm also wondering about those M&M's and machine-made treats. Anyone here actually used them before? What kind of prices are we looking at?

Personally, I think the cookies at M&M's are absolutely delicious, but I guess we won't be getting any. Honestly, $$40 per pound is just way too much for us😢😲

I placed an order at the Salt Lake Secret
The first tier is a triple chocolate blend
The second tier features a raspberry and chocolate mix
And the third tier will either be strawberry or some kind of berry medley

Nathan Cox25, you honestly act like you have all the answers! 😉 But every single thing you suggest ends up being a total disaster in the end. 🙂
People are actually raving about them, though I really hope I don't end up disappointed...
After they're done, we've got Toledo!
Larry Perez, $40/kg??? No wonder they won't just give you a price over the phone!!! That is just awful! I don't get it—I know there's a gap between the ones at $17 and the ones at 80 or 90, but 120??? Who does that, seriously?
Kenneth Anderson12, getting cake from the Salt Lake Secret is such a great idea, but I am seriously torn because of the dessert situation there. Their cakes are amazing, but they are $30/kg, plus I have to buy my own boxes and plates for the tables which are $3.25, making everything totaly $33/kg. That feels like way too much to me... There I go again with my "100" rule! And when I'm ordering a large amount, that difference is huge. Is there really nothing in the middle between 50 and 100??? 🙂

Those Horak cookies are absolute garbage. Picked up a few packs today in the States just to test them out, and honestly? Total waste of money.👎👎

Yeah, depends on how old they are
Try hitting up the store this Saturday—I’m betting they’ll have some fresh ones in stock

The pastries at Salt Lake Secret are wonderful too, but since the hotel where I'm having my wedding orders their treats from Mouse Bakery, I went with theirs at $22 per pound.
I'm not sure if you've tried them at the bridal expo?
