I really need to print out some proof that this transaction actually went through

So, yeah, the payment cleared—it showed me that full breakdown table with all the details. I ended up navigating away because I wanted to check something else, but now I’m trying to get back to that specific report... you know, the one with the granular stuff like account numbers, addresses for both sides, the exact amount, all that good info.

I'm digging through my transaction history trying to find that specific payment, but I can't seem to click into the actual entry itself. It just keeps dumping me back into the main list of all my transactions, if you catch my drift.

Ah, I see... thanks for the heads up. 🙂

Just head over to the payments section; there should be an option for completed payments or a full transaction history 🤔 (I don't recall the exact menu name—too lazy to log into Chase right now 😍 ) and you can filter by date to see how far back you want to go. Once you click the specific one, there should be a print option right there.

Just take a screenshot, paste it into Word, and hit print!

OT
Chase online banking can get a little overly complicated sometimes...🙄 but it gets the job done eventually.😁

I need someone to wire some cash to my account (I'm with Chase), so I gave them my routing and account number: 2360000-xxxxxxxxxx. Apparently, the transaction code is 17, but what on earth is this "reference number" thing they're asking for?

Any help would be appreciated 🙂

From what I've seen, a transfer from one JPMorgan Chase checking account to another happens instantly—the money hits the other person's account right away.
Has anyone tried sending money from a JPMorgan Chase checking account to a JPMorgan Chase savings account? Does it clear immediately, or could it take a full day to show up?

It should be exactly the same as right now

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out the transfer fees for moving money between accounts—specifically from a checking account at JPMorgan Chase over to a foreign currency account at Citibank.
Thanks 🙂

If you aren't rocking a premium card or taking advantage of those zero-fee accounts, the charge is $0.67. $0.33 is what they’re doing over at JPMorgan Chase

I have a student checking account—not a foreign currency one. Not sure if there’s much of a difference.

So. $0.67 For the van. $0.33 What about inside JPMorgan Chase? Thanks. 🙂

I suspect that student account doesn't actually include free transactions 🤔 :too lazy to bother scouring the JPMorgan Chase website: 😍

$0.67 You're talking about transfers outside the Bank, $0.33 whereas inside—they don't charge for transfers to checking or savings accounts for individuals within JPMorgan Chase.

Hey everyone,

I'm running into a bit of a headache with my online banking—it worked perfectly fine when I first set everything up in Firefox, but since Firefox started lagging on me, I decided to switch over to Chrome.

Now, I keep getting hit with this error message:

An attempt to authenticate with a client certificate failed.
A valid client certificate is required to make this connection.

The USB security key is installed, and all the support software seems fine too. I even imported the JPMorgan Chase & Co. and JPMorgan Chase certificates into Chrome, so on paper, everything should be good to go. I even went as far as wiping Java and reinstalling the latest version just to be sure.

I'm honestly stumped at this point—if anyone has run into something similar, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I know for a fact that JPMorgan Chase only runs smoothly for me when I'm using Internet Explorer. It sounds terrible, but it’s the truth. 😁

For those of you handling your bills through JPMorgan Chase online:

JPMORGAN CHASE BANK SERVICE FEES:
9.3. Issuance of payment confirmations processed via
The Bank (completed or declined)

9.3.1. via mail to a physical address: $5.09 per confirmation
9.3.2. via email* : $0.51 per confirmation
9.3.3. at a local branch, upon specific client request: $5.09 per confirmation

Note:
* Note: until January 31, 2014, fees under
tariff item 9.3.2. will not be charged.

So, starting in February, JPMorgan Chase is going to begin charging for sending payment confirmations to your email. As it stands, their online portal only "stores" transaction history for about 13 months; anything older than that simply disappears from the system.

A bit of advice for everyone: I suggest emailing all your payment confirmations to yourself and keeping them in a dedicated folder. It’s a matter of due diligence. If, for instance, the city waste management department claims you missed a bill back in July 2011, you won't have any proof of payment if you relied solely on the online portal—unless, of course, you want to trek down to a branch to request a printout, which will undoubtedly come with its own fee.

Why wouldn't you keep your monthly bank statements? It’s right there in black and white—who you paid, when you paid them, and exactly how much went out...

Wouldn't it be easier to just save the email confirmation as a PDF? ☕ My own confirmations are organized into folders by year and obligation—I've been doing this for eight years now.

Speaking of payment confirmations—does anyone happen to know how long JP Morgan Chase actually holds onto that data? I know through their online banking portal I can easily print out or save receipts going back about a year, but what happens if I need something older? Like, say, if I suddenly needed proof of a bill I paid five years ago—could I just head into a local branch and get a confirmation for those specific $1.75?

So, I've got a bit of a situation here.
I'm trying to sell something, and this guy tells me he’s going to send the money over via online banking.
He was like:
"Alright, it's sent. The transfer is authorized, but I couldn't pick today or tomorrow as the date—Monday was the earliest option they gave me, probably because of the weekend," which is what he told me while he was doing the transfer.

But now he’s asking if I can just ship the item this Saturday since he needs it urgently, rather than waiting until Monday when the payment actually clears.

He sent me a screenshot of the transaction, but honestly, how am I supposed to know if it's legit??
The screenshot says: transaction completed successfully.
Any advice?
It’s not like a huge amount of money or anything, but I guess I'm still feeling a little nervous about it.
