I went and typed in the wrong code three times—total rookie mistake, I know—and now the damn thing is completely frozen. It’s just staring back at me with some random seven-digit PIN... so, what am I actually supposed to do with this now? 🤷

But weirdly enough, the ones from July 7th pop up just fine... Such a headache!

Not sure why your July invoice is sitting in the 'archive' link while everything from late August until now is tucked away under 'view'...

Once you track down that specific invoice, just click its ID number, hit 'new invoice from displayed,' and you're good to go... 😉

Does anyone know if the Department of Homeland Security actually accepts an e-receipt for state fund payments—specifically for a passport? It feels pretty stupid to go through the hassle of paying a standard bank fee just to hand over $3.25 when I could just use the free option online...
Yeah, I tried calling the office that handles the paperwork, but after bouncing around between a few different cops and not being able to get a single person who actually deals with this stuff on the line, I figured I'd just ask here instead...

They approved me for something—though honestly, I’ve lost track of what it actually was. It sounds ridiculous even thinking about it now. I paid the fee about two years ago, and then there I was, handing my digital receipt from the DMV to my aunt. She takes one look at it and goes, "Hmm, let me see... okay, this is that new payment method. Just let me double-check if this is legit."
I was already bracing myself for a full-blown argument. But she just looked back up and said everything was fine. 😁

Every single confirmation comes with an authorization number you can actually verify... If they try to pull the "this looks fake" card on me, I just point them straight to that auth code and the verification number. 😉

Ugh, okay, why can't I grab my transaction PDF for free on the Chase app anymore? Is it only available once it actually clears? Right now it just says "pending"

Plus, they made these super annoying changes. I set up a transfer, and it shows me the fee, but then it says the amount depends on my specific account type (whatever they're calling it these days). Then I finish the transfer, and suddenly it says the fee is $0.00. So confusing...

edit: figured it out! Must be part of those updates from New Year's Day. The transfer I sent to someone else at Chase cleared instantly, but the one going to an outside bank won't process until tomorrow (the next business day)

Honestly, it’s basically the same thing—you just fill out all the same spots. The only real difference is you’re putting down dollars instead of anything else, but the form itself hasn't changed at all!

How am I supposed to grab a transaction receipt in PDF format now? The payment went through, and I'm looking right at my transaction history, but there isn't a single .pdf download option to be found anywhere...

It seemed totally normal to me... once I clicked on the payment number in my account and opened the transaction, all the PDF options popped up right at the bottom

Plus, if you just sent the money, it hasn't cleared yet, so there won't be a PDF ready just yet
