Look, since master of Puppets was their third album, I spent most of the show just hanging out in the standsβ€”and honestly, some guy from California tried to throw hands with me πŸ˜•

Is this some friend of Rev's? πŸ™‚

Eh, kind of tall, maybe around 6'1"... but he was actually a dark-haired guy. The bassist was the blond one, standing about 5'11"... honestly, my favorite memory was when they played with Sepultura down in Denver. Sepultura was just starting out back then, and he wouldn't even take their autographs, just out of pure principle. Like, as if they were somehow better than him, you know? 😁 😁

I’m mixing things up a bit now, I thinkβ€”there was this one band, Distorsion, back in the era I'm talking about; they had some buzz, you know? Or wasn't there some band called Kain from Columbus, or maybe they had a video called Kain? πŸ€”

Back in those days, NBC used to run shows like Van struje or Metal Mania... and look at us now. Then people act all surprised when kids grow up listening to nothing but country music. In '91, Morbid Angel was playing in Denverβ€”we were all geared up for it, too... and then, out of nowhere, war broke out. Screw war. Everything just got postponed. 😬

You're just being difficult because they aren't playing all your favorite songs.

😁 I'm really not being difficult at all, I honestly don't know where you're getting that from. πŸ™‚

I actually had a great time heading out once the crowd started rushing and jumping around... though if I had known how much Mark would try to calm things down, I probably would have stayed 😬 through the endβ€”until that one song came on with a lyric I can't quite wrap my head around, mentioning some imaginary place in a neighboring country. 😳 🀣

Friends... I'm starting to wonder if you all are actually very familiar with the history of this region... 😳

Honestly, if it weren't for G'n'R rock'n'roll, I would have met my Maker a long, long time ago. 😎

LostCase said:Why are you all trying so hard to suck up to the leftists by bringing up those bands? I listen to Thompson too, but I'm not some sellout. Here's what else I have on my playlist: 🀣

It is actually quite the opposite. In my view, Thompson delivers a full-scale concert experience that stands right alongside those world-renowned performers. That is precisely why the leftists find him so unbearable.

😁 πŸ™„ Honestly, it all feels like such pedantic, high-brow nonsense

In New York City, it’s all just one big Bohemian Rhapsody 🀣

Reminds me of childhood memories where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky now and then when I see her face she takes me away to that special place and if I stared too long I'd probably break down and cry sweet child o' mine sweet love of mine she's got eyes of the bluest skies as if they thought of rain I hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain her hair reminds me of a warm safe place where as a child I'd hide and pray for the thunder and the rain to quietly pass me by sweet child o' mine sweet love of mine whereπŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ 😁 😳 πŸ‘

What are your thoughts on that commercial featuring motifs from Romania?

It’s alright, I suppose.

What do you mean... are you saying the themes in the video are okay with you? I shouldn't have been surprised, really... it seems you always have a soft spot for the villains...πŸ™‚

To be perfectly honest, it’s just plain foolish, or more accurately 😁 πŸ˜‰
