Let's keep things respectful, please.

From a purely musical standpoint, her songwriting is flawless.

When I watched "Equestrian" and "What is a man without a mustache," πŸ‘ those melodies were just playing on loop in my head while watching the scenery unfold. Specifically, that intro instrumental section. πŸ‘

Yeah, it’s quite something.😳

Honestly, I feel the same way; musically speaking, it’s incredibly unconventional, which is exactly why I find it so appealing.😁
It really stands apart from everything else, and I don't just mean compared to the rest of MPT's catalog.

To be honest, I hadn't actually heard it until recently, and then some folks who follow this scene a bit more closely than I do mentioned that it was actually an old track...

Look, honey, the reason people dig his music is because it hits home. They see that raw sincerity in him... and if you're wondering why the crowd was singing along, one way to look at it is they were just showing solidarity, kind of like saying, "Alright, let's all go report Matija Babić together." Listen, Sarah, folks can smell a fake from a mile away; they hate being played or lied to. What those certain journalists were pulling was nothing more than hypocritical manipulation. You really need to put in the work, read more, and listen closer if you want to spot a setup when it happens... I've been calling out this stuff for four years now...

Free your mind!!! 😳 😳 😳 😳

You definitely have the right perspective to understand why Thompson's CD has been the top-selling souvenir here for several years running.

And don't even get me started on what those Mexicans were telling me about Thompson's music last summer. 😳 😳 😳

I couldn't take them anywhere without them begging me to blast Tompa in the car!πŸ™„

And honestly? That is the absolute truth.

I'm 100% with you on this. His rock shows are massive spectacles... especially that one at Dodger Stadium back in '02.

😁 I have to say, I really love how that part feels, almost like a prayer, especially with the choir singing along

Honestly, without her, I feel like I’m just drifting without a soul...

People were already coming for Thompson before the whole "scandal" broke regarding him singing "Jasenovac and Gradiska star."

He was targeted quite aggressively leading up to that massive show at Dodger Stadium.

Why is that?

Could it perhaps be due to his support for Herceg-Bosna?πŸ™„ It seems that even though he performed "Jasenovac and Gradiska star" live on several occasionsβ€”which they proved once it wasn't knownβ€”it isn't just that specific song that bothers them; rather, they take issue with all of his patriotic songs and his bogoljubni tematika.

And that isn't some kind of secret.

Man, looking back... about 16 or 17 years ago, I absolutely looked down my nose at those poser kids listening to Guns N' Roses or Skid Rowβ€”πŸ€£I can still vividly picture what Sebastian Bach used to look likeβ€”back then, we thought that was just stuff for girls. Real "men" only listened to AC/DC, MotΓΆrhead, Metallica, or Slayer. πŸ‘
I have to admit, thoughβ€”it’s only been in the last few years that I’ve actually come around to thinking that album with "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Jungle" is genuinely solid hard rock.

Should it be "I Will Not Betray" or "joy from above"?

This Mexican woman headed back to New York City while humming the tune. 😁 😁 😁

In my opinion, the best rock album released after the death of rock 'n' roll is Appetite for Destruction. 😎

And if you wanted to be considered a real man, you listened to Anthrax and Morbid Angel. 😎 😎 😎

When I sat down to write out my personal ranking of the greatest concerts I have ever attended in my life, I was being entirely serious.

In many ways, I saw it all coming. 😁 I remember attending a show by a certain world-renowned artist, and the performance was truly exceptional. After that night, I thought to myselfβ€”my Godβ€”if Thompson were given access to that level of technical expertise and high-end gear, he would absolutely tear the house down. And sure enough, a few years later, the Thompson miracle actually happened.

I managed to foresee quite a bit more beyond that. 😳

Man, oh man... 😬 πŸ‘ Anthrax and Scott Ian! I absolutely loved themβ€”especially Scott’s work with S.O.D. You seriously need to give that project a listen today just to realize how ahead of its time it actually was.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane; I needed that reminder. πŸ‘

Speaking of things worth remembering...

I'll keep it simple with just three words:

Paranoid - Black Sabbath

It isn't bad 😬, but there are better options out there. 😳 😬 (Like Space Trucin')

But check this out:

MotΓΆrhead - Overkill πŸ™‚
