Best free registry cleaners?

I've got CCleaner, but honestly? It feels like it just leaves a ton of junk behind. Anyone actually know of something better...

I've got no clue if it's actually any better, but I just stick with CCcleaner

I just run XP Manager for the registry and junk files, then hit CCleaner for everything else.

What makes you say that? Like, what specifically did it miss—what stuff is still sitting there that it should've wiped out?

For me, it’s kind of funny—whenever I run a scan with CCleaner or TuneUp, everything seems totally fine. But then, I’ll fire up CCleaner, and suddenly it starts flagging a ton of issues. Even if I go ahead and run the repair, it feels like I'm just chasing my tail because those same errors pop right back up again immediately after. It's a bit of a loop, honestly! :S

then just switch over to Linux and stop complaining 😛

Seems fine to me. It's paid software, but there's a 30-day trial, so why not? I'll give it a shot.
