The point of this thread is for you to list the best songs that deal with opioids, illicit substances, or anything illegal. Alcohol counts too.
Whether the lyrics celebrate it, curse it, or were simply written while under its influence.
I’ve been scanning through some US forums and haven't seen a topic quite like this—not one that goes deeper than just mentioning cheap booze or a little bit of weed. I'm looking for more. I can't stand Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds- if it wasn't about LSD, those lyrics would never have been famous—just one of my least favorite tracks by The Beatles. And I'm not a fan of Depeche Mode either.
