I'm currently hunting for a band for a big Midwestern wedding, and since my first choice for a sax player is already booked for my dates, I'm back to square one... everyone keeps mentioning Twist Off, but I can't find a single trace of them online—no website, nothing on YouTube, not even a Facebook page... does anyone have a link where I can actually hear them play???

Does anyone at least have a contact number for Twist Off or Quattro Band they could DM me? I'm also open to hearing about that Art Band from Indianapolis.

Oh, look at Mr. Twist Off over here.
Keep the phone numbers to the private messages, please. M.
...our guys are playing on May 12th.

So... I have a few questions to get things started...
1. For those of you in the Indianapolis area or nearby, where did you pick up your wedding rings? We haven't actually started looking yet, so any tips or recommendations would be amazing 😉
2. Does anyone have a recommendation for live music (like a band or musicians)?
3. Has anyone used Chic Salon in Indianapolis for hair and makeup? Were you happy with the results? Also, do they offer trials for hair and makeup? I'm wondering how long everything lasted through the night. 😕
4. Does anyone know a florist that carries veeery large candelabras???
5. And damn, where can I find comfortable shoes that will let me dance all night long?🤷

😍😍😍

We picked them up at the local Walmart—from that one guy over in the electronics aisle... honestly, you couldn't find a better deal anywhere else.
The TS shocks are absolutely top-tier—but since we’re tied up with our current deadline, we’ve basically got ourselves a revolving door situation instead.
I’ve actually been to that salon myself—they do an absolutely flawless job, so you really can't go wrong there. Their makeup application is top-tier, too. If you want to see their work, just look them up on Facebook.
I honestly have no clue about that one.
I picked up these shoes at a local department store over in the county seat—they aren't exactly "runway ready" for a young girl, if we're being honest—but they'll do the job. At the end of the day, comfort is the only thing that actually matters. 😁

Does anyone have a good catering recommendation in the Midwest, specifically near Indianapolis? I need something for a little get-together at my place before the wedding.

By the way, the Google band is playing my event. I haven't seen them live yet, but I see nothing but good things about them on here. They’ve been incredibly professional during the booking process.

The Park Hotel in Indianapolis offers catering services... maybe give them a call and see what they can do. Please send any phone numbers via private message. M.
John Doe... we're actually already in touch with him regarding the wedding reception.... good luck! 😍

Hey guys, where in the Indianapolis area can I find someone who does rosemary sprigs for weddings? I need them decorated with red, white, and blue ribbons.

Honestly, I’m almost afraid to reach out to anyone on the New York Stock Exchange forums about this, because a friend recently had a total nightmare with her florist—they didn't have the greenery ready on time, and when they finally showed up, everything was wilted and old.

So, if anyone has a contact for someone reliable who actually knows what they're doing, please shoot me a DM.

Thanks! 😍

Does anyone know where I can pick up one of those "Welcome" tarpaulin banners here in Indianapolis? I know where to find them over by the Walmart, but that’s a bit of a trek for me. If anyone knows a local spot in town, please let me know... and maybe the price too? Otherwise, I guess I'll just head over to Fort Wayne to get it printed!

Hi everyone! I'm actually looking for the number for Jane Marijanovic from Indianapolis, or perhaps any other solid recommendations you might have. I'm getting married soon and am quite new to this forum, so I'd truly appreciate it if someone could pass that number along...

Did you check at the Vegas location? I think I saw them carrying 🤷☕

I went out shopping the other day, but I completely blanked on asking about this because my mind was stuck on a dozen other things. Thanks anyway, ladies! 🙂

Ladies! I am also in desperate need of that famous Helen's number since I have a wedding party coming up very soon myself.

Let me know if you find anything... I could use some too, though I’d probably just tie the ribbons myself. Still, I’m not one to call a stranger without checking their reputation first.🙂

So, I’ve got a few questions about wedding venues. My fiancée and I are narrowing down our options, and right now we're stuck between two places in Indianapolis: Crystal and Zelenkrov.

Now, look, I’ve actually been to Zelenkrov a couple of times, and from a guest's perspective? It was great. Everything felt smooth. But honestly, I have no clue what it’s actually like from the couple's side of things—you know, the actual planning and organization part.

The real headache is Crystal. I am hitting a total brick wall trying to find anything online about them. Like, zero reviews, zero feedback, nothing. I can't find a single person's opinion on the place. So, if anyone here has actually used Crystal for an event, could you please, please let me know how it went?

Thanks.

Hey, I think there are a few women on this forum who have hosted weddings at those locations, so maybe reach out to them. 😉
I believe buhtlaos might have some info there 🙂 hope that helps!

Hey everyone, I'm new here. Has anyone heard anything about photographer Marin Franov? Looking at his site, he does both photo and video $2000, but is that really enough?

Greetings, everyone. 🙂 I am curious if anyone here has worked with Pim-studio before? Word on the street is they are quite capable, yet there is a complete lack of discussion regarding them on this forum. It seems suspicious to me. Please, I need some insight.

Still haven't heard anything concrete about the Crystal ballroom. Can anyone weigh in? What do you guys actually think of the place—the good, the bad, all of it? For instance, I heard a rumor from some thin lady that the food portions are pretty pathetic. I don't know if there's any truth to that, but honestly, if it were up to me, I’d want a much bigger spread. So, yeah, could use a quick breakdown of the pros and cons.

Can anyone give me a ballpark idea of what catering prices are looking like these days? It seems like my best bet for hosting guests at the house since I could probably bundle in some tent rentals from them too—but honestly, I have absolutely no clue what kind of damage I should expect to take... 🤷

Anthony Hall83, look, they told us it’s $12/person, but there was this little caveat: don't actually book for the total headcount we expect. They suggested planning for only about 50-60% of our guest list because their portions are incredibly generous and include so much more than just the basics. So, following that logic, they advised me that for our group of 110, I should probably just order for 60—and they even gave me their word that we'd definitely have plenty left over. Honestly, though, I’m a bit of a nervous wreck about this because their food is absolutely divine, and I can't bear the thought of running short. I think I'll play it safe and book for 70 just to be certain; I'd much rather deal with an abundance of leftovers than a hungry crowd. Besides, we’ll be supplementing the spread with some local favorites from my neck of the woods anyway, like some high-end artisanal cheese and homemade sausages.
Anyway, I hope that clears things up! 😉
