driftingbear10 said:Arthur Ramirez4 🙏 besides that, lady—I mean, look, weather patterns are getting so wild today that eleven-year-olds are basically having strokes, so why are you stressing this much over a late period?! I go like 70 days without one myself, and I’m not making a huge scene about it! 🤷

Here we go again with this kind of thing. One month I’m absolutely thrilled because my cycle hits 33 days, feeling like everything is perfectly in sync, and then, out of nowhere, the very next month jumps straight to 49 days. It’s such a rollercoaster. Now, look, mine have always been a bit unpredictable to begin with, but even for those people who swear their cycles are as precise as a Swiss watch, things can get totally thrown off balance.

Yeah, obviously... because why wouldn't you add stress and nerves to the mix? Honestly, this whole thread just proves that making a baby isn't exactly as simple as brushing your teeth.🙄

So, I know I got a negative result and all that, but I was wondering—could it just be too early if it's only been 23 days since conception? And what about an ultrasound... wouldn't you see some signs by now? I'm honestly panicking because my period is always super regular. Ugh, I feel like I'm going crazy

Man, I honestly don't have the energy to keep repeating myself—it’s the same loop every single time. Either go grab some Advil or just go fix up the kid's bedroom already. Seriously, what else am I even supposed to say? 🤷

Has anyone else had cycles that were always super predictable, and then suddenly—out of nowhere—they're three weeks late without any chance of pregnancy?

As for me, ☕ it wasn't even just late—I skipped an entire cycle once.

You aren't pregnant. Chill out. 😁

Here I go again—I know I’ve probably been overthinking this, but I’m still feeling a bit anxious. I was reading that ovulation always happens fourteen days before your period starts, so based on that, it shouldn't be a case of me testing too early and getting a false negative. Not twice, anyway. What do you guys think?

Does anyone know if there's a private lab in the city where I can get my beta levels checked—and maybe an idea of the cost? I just really don't feel like waiting a whole week for results, I guess.

You don't even need to go hunting for some fancy private lab... you can just head over to the local hospital where they do it all the time anyway, pay the fee, and call it a day...

So, I guess if I pay extra, things will move along a bit faster?

Look, it’ll be done at the exact same speed whether you pay or not... everything stays on the same schedule... I don't see how you'd get it any faster than that...

So, back in mid-March—right when I should’ve been ovulating—I was traveling and eating pretty terribly. My metabolism is usually super fast, but I actually went five days without even a bowel movement, which was rough. On top of that, I had this awful inflammation down there for a week; everything was swollen, sore, stinging... honestly, just painful. Do you think that could have messed with my ovulation? Because I might be heading out on another trip at the end of March—this time on a cruise ship... what do you guys think?

Look, if I can give you a heads-up, ovulation can happen anywhere from 19 to 7 days before your next period hits. That’s the baseline.
Regarding testing, if you're in New York City, anyone who needs to can just head over to a Mayo Clinic facility with a referral—it'll cost you maybe $3 or $4 out of pocket, and you get results the same day. You can probably skip the referral and just walk in, but I'm guessing it'll be way more expensive, like 🤷

Sending good vibes to everyone hoping for a positive result—and for those of you trying to avoid them, stay extremely careful, for the sake of everyone who isn't looking for a little surprise right now 🙂

Funny enough, I actually ended up conceiving while dealing with those exact same conditions. So, regarding your theory about travel, bad food, or an infection causing a missed ovulation... honestly, it might even work the other way and help you get pregnant.😉

Look, I totally get it—but here's the thing—I took a pregnancy test nine days after my period was supposed to start and it came back negative. So, I'm thinking maybe I just didn't ovulate this month, I guess.

I was honestly about to type out some really heated stuff, but whatever—I’ll play nice. I just have one request for you ladies before you start typing away: please, just read her whole story from the top first. If you do, you won't waste your breath explaining the basics to her... you know, the whole "interrupted sex, pregnancy scare, doctor visits" routine. She's already over it, and frankly, so am I. 👎driftingbear10 is enough of a headache as it is.

It just kills me how she somehow landed on the idea that maybe she didn't even ovulate—as if that’s even relevant. I mean, she's definitely pregnant, even if her doctor or some ultrasound hasn't officially called it yet.

Oh man, I went way too far with that one—seriously! At least I got a good laugh out of it, though I guess the paranoia has calmed down for now... even if it'll probably creep back in later.

So, just out of curiosity... how old are you actually?
