I had a slight fever, maybe around 99 degrees, and headaches can definitely be caused by hormones. Like others have already mentioned, the cheapest test will still show a positive if you're actually pregnant. Good luck!

Itβs expensive and, frankly, a complete waste of cash when you consider that $12 already does a killer job and stays incredibly accurate. If you're going to bother doing it at all, you might as well use your first morning urine to get any sense of reliability.
Look, just run the test yourself first, then you can worry about what β thinks about it.

So, hereβs the situation: my period is two weeks late. Given the symptoms Iβm dealing with, Iβm fairly certain Iβm pregnant, but I have to askβis it actually normal to deal with splitting headaches and a fever?
I haven't even taken a test yet, so thereβs still that nagging doubt. Is it possible this isn't pregnancy at all, but just some random bug or illness? This is all brand new territory for me, so please, don't hold back on the adviceβgive it to me straight!
I did read that Clearblue tests are pretty reliable; has anyone here actually used one? π€·πππ

Also, I spotted a Clearblue test at the drugstoreβhas anyone here actually used one before?

1. Go find a psychic in Greenwich Village to read your crystal ball.
2. Call one of those 1-800 psychic hotlines; they'll definitely tell you for sure if you're pregnant.
3. Ask a fortune teller on a street corner to read your palm.
4. Just mash your keyboard and let us guess if you're pregnant.
5. JUST BUY A DAMN TEST FROM $10!!!!!

Why does this thread even exist if those of you who recognize the symptoms won't step up and offer some insight? It shouldn't be this difficult. For some people, $10 is more than enough. I don't envy anyone going through this uncertainty, though I am certainly not indifferent myself. However, I have no intention of rushing to a CVS just because I feel slightly nauseous. Nausea can stem from countless different issues. I refuse to buy a pregnancy test every single time my stomach turns. Please, try to be helpful when we ask questions; remember how unsettling it felt for you when you were facing that same uncertainty.
