He figured it would just clear up after my period, and that’s what happened. But maybe he missed something, because I think it just ruptured, and now a friend is telling me it's supposed to be incredibly painful—which, honestly, is a nightmare.
I guess... I don't really know... I'll probably just head to the OBGYN and see what they say. 🙂
It doesn't have to be painful. Honestly, they just vanished for me during every pregnancy I had, and I didn't feel a thing. They just change up the rules whenever they feel like it, don't they? Like those parasites are just cleaning you out or something. Though, then again, I did hear that if one actually ruptures, that’s when the pain kicks in.
Why don't you just head over to the ultrasound yourself? Just go check if it’s actually there or not. I mean, what else can you do? One time, I had an ultrasound done at a clinic near Chicago, and the technician was working with some old-school equipment—real clunky stuff—but they managed to get a clear reading right after my results came back from the lab. It’s all about that timing, isn't it?

My last period started on August 12th, and my cycles usually run anywhere from 34 to 37 days.
I took a test yesterday (on day 35), but it came back negative.
My breasts are incredibly sore, I’m feeling occasional pains in my lower right abdomen, and my mood has been really low lately.
Is there any chance I just tested too early?
My husband and I are trying so hard to start a family...
Thanks so much for your help.
It’s not too early to worry, I guess... but look, the baby will show up when it's ready for you. There's no sense in spiraling into a depression over it. It won't help, and yeah, I know this whole waiting game sucks. It really does. But everything happens on its own timeline, doesn't it? Just hang in there for a few more days. If you haven't heard anything by the weekend, maybe run another test. Honestly though? I have a feeling you'll know before then.
