but hopefully not at the military hospital over in Mayo Clinic...

-I know about the university clinic, but does anyone know if there are other places where you can just use a referral from your doctor...

Honestly, it’s not even remotely funny when you find yourself stuck in a scene straight out of a bad movie. I was sitting there listening to this incredibly frustrated woman lecturing me, telling me I should probably go check if my husband is having an affair. Then, she had the nerve to refuse to give me his allergy recipes, claiming she couldn't trust me with them because she wasn't sure what kind of relationship we actually have or what I might do with them. It was just surreal. 🙄

I'm looking for a dentist in Chicago and need to know about the costs for fillings and everything else that might be necessary. I'm really young, living solo in Chicago, and I honestly have no clue what I'm supposed to bring to a dentist appointment—like, what documents do I need? Do I need to pay some kind of membership or insurance fee, or how does that all work? I'm looking for info on all that, plus if anyone can suggest a good dentist and give me a rough idea of what I'll be paying for things like checkups, fillings, repairs, and so on. THIS IS SUPER URGENT. Thanks a lot!

Here is my dentist's number: 4604126. Just give her a call and run through everything you asked here. She’s solid, works over at the West Community Health Center, and everything can be covered by Medicare if you have your paperwork in order.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a solid orthopedic surgeon at the Draskovic clinic for trauma cases. A physiatrist suggested I get an orthopedist to check out my hip, and since you don't need an appointment for trauma—you just show up—I’d really appreciate knowing which specialist is the best bet for a consultation.
The wait times at other hospitals are absolutely brutal, and things are getting pretty serious on my end. I've been dealing with this pain in my leg and hip for three months now, and it's reached the point where I can barely walk without relying on painkillers and crutches.

If you're looking for a solid dentist, you've gotta check out Vlasta Glamuzina! She works over at the Downtown Community Health Center near the Mosque, and honestly, she and her nurse are just the sweetest people ever. Everything she did for me turned out perfect, and since she takes Medicare, it makes things super easy on the wallet.

I've had issues with my cervical spine since I was in elementary school, but honestly, doctors back then never gave me any real answers or anything helpful. My last checkup was about ten years ago with Dr. Anticetic.

Now, almost twelve years later, the pain is back, so I grabbed a referral for an orthopedist from my doctor. To be honest, I didn't like Dr. Anticetic even when I was a kid—man just has no clue what he's doing.
My GP actually told me she doesn't recommend him either and that he's pretty bad, so I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with orthopedists? Can anyone suggest someone who actually knows what they're doing regarding the spine?
I really don't want to go to a private specialist because I just don't have the cash for that :/
