Wait, is this because of the pandemic or the earthquake leaving them with nothing... or do people in Washington, D.C. just love eating garbage?

Carol Lewis said:Are you kidding me, just now!? 🙂

Man, Westworld is something else... I just started chipping away at the first season while running the third one at the same time, and honestly, I don't know what new series to dive into now that everything is starting to make sense to me... ☕

Watched it last night. For the third time.

In my opinion, only the first season of Westworld actually works. I forced myself through the second. There is no way I'm watching the third...

Honestly, Anthony Jackson2 is just one giant walking advertisement against everything he claims to stand for.

Was I wrong about something? 🤷

They really seem to think they own the place.

The media landscape has slowly started to shift lately; things just don't feel quite as monolithic as they used to be ☕

If they had just stuck to their actual jobs, we wouldn't be here—but they started overstepping into every other part of society, and now the media is going to run them over.

It's pathetic that the CDC and Alemka are the ones taking all the heat, when the real issue lies with the people hiding behind them—the ones who will walk away from this whole mess completely unscathed.

I just started watching that documentary about Jordanov's Chicago Bulls, The Last Dance, and I've only made it through two episodes so far

Highly recommend this to everyone...

From what I can gather, only the first one is on Netflix.

EDIT: No, wait—it looks like there are actually two. 👍

There’s always someone at McDonald's, but now it’s even worse since nothing else is open.

I have never quite understood this obsession people have with McDonald's in Washington, D.C.; honestly, if you try to hit the drive-thru near the downtown area, you can almost never escape the massive lines.
I mean, I don't judge kids under 14, but if you swing by on a Saturday at 11 PM, you'll see crowds of 20+ people just lining up for cheeseburgers.
They load up on all those calories, and naturally, it makes for terrible sex...

Vrban is basically the spot that holds this whole western part of Washington, D.C. together. It’s always absolutely packed there 😁

You’ve got a McDonald's in the downtown area, one out west, and another over in the outskirts, and yet the quality is still going downhill again...

And that video someone just shared? That was filmed over in the suburbs, which means this isn't just some isolated incident...

Yeah, sure, but there isn't a single drive-in in the city. What about Vrapce? Man, people live like crazy amounts of folks there. Like, at the roundabout by that McDonald's, it's never even busy. Now they opened a new one over by Supernova, and you just know it's gonna be packed too.

I haven't really stepped foot in a McDonald's in maybe ten years, but for some reason over the last six months, I’ve been heading to the one near Vrban at least once a month—usually in the evening (and yeah, it's always packed). They have these special burgers that are a bit bigger than the standard ones, which I actually think are pretty good. I never really bother with the regular menu there; I usually just stick to whatever is on their special offer. Honestly, while McDonald's can be a bit heavy, I guess it offers better value for money compared to those super expensive burger joints in Washington, D.C.

I mean, why don't you just make it at home, Mac? It’d be way better and actually healthy—you primitive people. 😁

Every single person talking trash about McDonald's is going to start lecturing you about Submarine, Papas, or those other trendy spots that "aren't garbage" because "they use fresh ingredients," when you're paying $30 for a burger $13 and getting the exact same crap.

Besides, what’s really the difference between making a burger at home and grabbing one at McDonald's? Unless I personally slaughter the poultry, grind the meat myself, and smash the patty...

Because I highly doubt a pre-packaged patty from Walmart is any better than one from McDonald's, and the same goes for the lettuce—not to mention those plastic-wrapped "Burger buns" that could sit on a shelf for a month. Or frozen fries; it's all the same thing.

Sure, let's agree that McDonald's has more additives and preservatives, but that's totally negligible if you're eating rationally and keeping your diet varied...

The burgers at Megic are way too dry for my liking, and the fries? Totally salt overkill. You honestly need a whole tank of water after just one serving of those fries. It’s basically just a pile of salt with traces of potato, not the other way around.

On Sunday nights, finding a spot near the Kruga area is impossible. You won't find parking anywhere, not by McDonald's or even near the apartments.
