So, they're missing medicine, medical supplies, hygiene products, diapers, and even some basic food items.

A total tragicomedy—if you can even call this a success.

I'm sure that 83% will just figure out how to recycle used diapers and reuse them in glorious service to Mother Russia. ☕

This entire situation is the direct consequence of Putin’s policies and that tired old mantra you all cling to regarding Russia's self-sufficiency. Does anyone honestly believe we can manufacture diapers? Yet, for years, you have stood here portraying Russia as a global superpower simply because they export wheat.🤣

In Russia, 1% of the population tests positive for HIV, and all the meds come from the West. Estimates say by 2030, more people will be dying from HIV than cancer.

Russia imports half of its medicine needs. They’re literally running out of insulin. Eventually, they might scrape by making some generic stuff, but generics aren't the real deal—never are. As for high-end, sophisticated meds? Yeah, forget about it...

Packaging shortages are hitting hard. Since Tetra Pak pulled out, it’s anyone's guess if we’re actually low on milk or if they just don't have any way to box it up.

They still have white goods, consumer electronics, and stuff like that sitting in warehouses, but if these sanctions drag on, expect shortages in three to four months. Sure, they might be able to cover 60-90% of the domestic market locally, but the real bottleneck is going to be the components needed to actually put things together.

This is precisely why they feel compelled to plunder the humanitarian convoys being dispatched to Ukraine.

The issues we’re seeing right now are trivial compared to what happens if Russia decides to go after and wipe out the Ukrainian grain silos. If things escalate to that point, there won't be anywhere left to store the upcoming harvest, which means the crops just rot in the fields.

I can only assume Zelenskyy and the European Union are accounting for this exact scenario, because once that threshold is crossed, we’re looking at a massive, large-scale crisis. Since Ukraine serves as a major breadbasket for the European Union, the folks in Brussels had better be preparing for an escalation that isn't exactly a surprise.

We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out; we'll deal with the consequences when they arrive, so by all means, just keep piling those sanctions on Russia.☕

Ukraine isn't some EU breadbasket; it's more like North Africa or Southeast Asia.

The West has two choices:
Sanctions
Nuclear force against Russia

Because this war has to end!!!

Let's stick with the first one.

And if Russia destroys the wheat silos and all the other food supplies, they'll be committing another Holodomor = genocide...
only this time, it won't just be against Ukrainians, but on a global scale.

They're sinking deeper every single day...

Chinese companies are paying for Russian coal and oil using the yuan - Bloomberg

So, some Chinese importers have officially started paying for Russian coal and oil using the yuan instead of the usual stuff.

We’re seeing several Chinese firms using their own currency to grab Russian coal back in March, with shipments expected to land this April. On top of that, Russian oil sellers are basically rolling out the red carpet, telling Chinese buyers they can settle up in yuan too. All those commodities bought with the local currency should be hitting China by May.

This whole pivot toward the yuan in energy trading isn't happening by accident—it's a direct reaction to all those economic sanctions. Since certain banks got kicked out of the SWIFT system, moving money internationally with Russia has become a total nightmare.

By the way, Russia climbed the ranks last year to become China's second-largest coal supplier.

It’s been common knowledge for a while now that Chinese state refineries are sticking to their old contracts for Russian oil, but they’re being extremely stubborn about signing anything new. Honestly, even when the suppliers throw massive discounts at them, these guys just aren't biting.

So, yuan instead of rubles, huh? I bet our "friends in China" will end up building a satellite out of them just to stay ahead. 🙏

He "can't fathom" it?

Typical...
Why on earth would he need to understand?
Putin has provided him with more than enough in life so that he doesn't have to grasp anything beyond being an obedient, model-citizen bureaucrat.

Ukraine is the EU's breadbasket 🤦

Only Spain and Italy import any significant amount from them.
