Can you believe this? Canada just kicked out a whopping 33 "diplomats" from Russia—and that’s out of a total of only 41 people! Apparently, the Russian embassy over there was absolutely packed, carrying way more staff than even China or the USA.

Only Spain and Italy import any significant amount from them.

Importing pet food supplies—mostly dry goods.

I can only assume Zelenskyy and the European Union are accounting for this exact scenario, because once that threshold is crossed, we’re looking at a massive, large-scale crisis. Since Ukraine serves as a major breadbasket for the European Union, the folks in Brussels had better be preparing for an escalation that isn't exactly a surprise.

We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out; we'll deal with the consequences when they arrive, so by all means, just keep piling those sanctions on Russia.☕

Russia simply doesn't have enough cruise missiles in their arsenal to take out every single silo.

A total tragicomedy—if you can even call this a success.

It just invites a swarm of speculators who will inevitably flip these goods at massive markups later.

That’s just how solidarity works in the "Russian world."

But then again, I shouldn't be surprised you'd latch onto that like a fly to... 🤣

Who actually banned pharmaceutical exports to Russia?

Spoiler: Nobody.

Even basic bearings—the literal foundation for basically everything—are gone.

They still have white goods, consumer electronics, and stuff like that sitting in warehouses, but if these sanctions drag on, expect shortages in three to four months. Sure, they might be able to cover 60-90% of the domestic market locally, but the real bottleneck is going to be the components needed to actually put things together.

That's precisely what the "special operation Z-anussi" currently underway in Ukraine is meant to address.

Typical...
Why on earth would he need to understand?
Putin has provided him with more than enough in life so that he doesn't have to grasp anything beyond being an obedient, model-citizen bureaucrat.

Exactly. Saša Broz is responsible for her father's crimes. Hang her. ☕

hm, if they have more in such a small country than these massive superpowers, the math just doesn't add up.

Either they were quietly swapping info across the entire European Union in Canada, or
they have specific interests in areas like Canada.

It’s becoming clearer that this has been in the works for decades, and somehow, "nobody" noticed...

I mean, when you consider that seven buses full of soldiers arrived with radiation sickness because they were "geniuses" enough to go digging around in the Red Forest—and apparently a bunch of them lost limbs to gangrene just because they didn't have enough antibiotics on the front lines—you realize that having actual medicine is pretty damn important for combat readiness.

So, we're equating freezing assets—which are essentially just Putin's own money—with a death sentence now?

Oh, the tragedy. Those poor, innocent billions belonging to Putin... how cruel and heartless of the West to intervene.

I don't know enough about Saša Broz to say if she's enjoying stolen American money, but probably not.

But Putin's daughters are enjoying themselves since the economic and financial sanctions haven't hit them yet.

When the discussion turns to actual crimes, they'll start questioning if those daughters had a hand in it.

Saša Broz definitely isn't responsible for her father's sins...

There is some pretty wild stuff going on with this whole "expelling" Russian agents from Canada.

Check this out:

Ambassador Eyvazov was notified by the State Department that Canada is slashing the number of diplomatic and administrative staff at the Russian embassy from 41 down to just eight. The Russian embassy in Vienna and Canada will have to let 33 people go, but, according to the State Department, this isn't actually about expelling diplomats..

And here is the explanation they gave:

They explained that it's a move under Article 11, not Article 9 of the Vienna Convention.
...
Article 11, however, allows the receiving state to demand that a diplomatic mission or consular office scale back its staff to what is considered reasonable and customary given the local circumstances and the needs of the mission. In that sense, Canada decided to align the size of the Russian diplomatic mission with the size of the Canadian diplomatic mission in Moscow.

So basically, the Canadians just "aligned" things instead of kicking Russian agents out of Vienna. 😁

But honestly, the weirdness surrounding the Russian embassy doesn't even end there.

Ambassador Eyvazov has, per the State Department release, expressed his "strongest protest and horror over the massacre of Ukrainian civilians in Bucha and other towns, which was uncovered by comparing published satellite imagery and other photos following their liberation from Russian occupation."

What he's trying to say is—the Russian ambassador is basically telling the Canadians how horrifying it is now that he's realized
what those satellite images and photo comparisons show—which is that people were lying dead in the streets of Bucha while the place was under Russian control.

If I'm reading this right, Eyvazov is probably heading straight to therapy in Moscow after this realization.

They're right—no one officially banned it. But how do you physically get the stuff to the buyer when the payment rails are totally fried?

And if you look closely at those voting results, Mexico actually voted in favor of them.

A quick breakdown of the humanitarian crisis heading toward developing nations. It starts by looking at the massive hole left by grain shortages, then moves into how fertilizer prices have gone absolutely haywire, and wraps up with some thoughts on GMOs. The guy talking is David Friedberg, who used to be an executive over at Google and Monsanto

The real reason everything is spiraling out of control right now boils down to speculators, people freaking out over nothing, and everyone trying to hoard supplies like it's the end of the world..
