Yeah, if not this one for at least a three-goal margin, then F+2 is a lock. 🙂

Lokomotiv vs. Hajduk Split: Both Teams to Score at 1.80 SS (1-2)
Over 2.5 goals at 2.15 SS

Both sides have been pretty disappointing coming into this season, especially Hajduk Split, who have managed nothing but three draws and a loss in their first four matches. That said, Slaven Bilić really turned things around in Europe, pulling off a great result to reach the final qualifying round of the Europa League. They’re hoping that momentum carries over into the league, but today is going to be an uphill battle because they’re heading to Washington, D.C. missing as many as eight players (Milović, Roguljić, J. Bašić, Ohandza, Pejić, Grbić, Maloku, Radčenko). Most of their core starters are still available, though, particularly the attackers, so I don't see them struggling much with finishing.
On the other hand, Lokomotiv looked absolutely embarrassed in Europe; after winning 2-1 at home, they got totally dismantled 6-0 by PAOK in Greece. They've had a rough start in the league too, sitting at 7th with a 1-1-2 record, but if you look strictly at their offensive production, things aren't actually that bleak. They’ve already netted 10 goals in just four rounds, scoring at least once in every single match they've played (including that 6-1 thrashing of Istria), and coach Čačić is already out there predicting a high-scoring affair today.
Aside from that massive blowout loss in Greece, all seven of Lokomotiv's recent matches have ended with over 2.5 goals.
Hajduk doesn't have quite as perfect a streak, but looking at their last ten matches across all competitions, seven of them went Over, and five of those were Over 2.5. Stromsgodset’s lack of efficiency messed up that specific stat slightly, but when you're talking about Lokomotiv, you never have to worry about goals being scored. Hajduk has a decent attack this year, but their defense is definitely a liability, which is just more reason to back this bet.
If we look at their head-to-head history: out of their last nine meetings, eight of them saw over 2.5 goals.
I don't think there's much else to say here—we should just take the odds the bookies are giving us.

WBA-Manchester City 2 1.75 HL (0-3)
Manchester City is clearly the superior side here, and I can't help but think they have some extra fuel in the tank given how much Chelsea and Arsenal have stumbled lately... it presents such a massive opportunity for them to pull ahead and put some serious distance between themselves and those two immediately...

I wonder if any sportsbook out there actually has the guts to offer a bet on Slaven Belupo finishing in the top four of the MLS

FC Barcelona-Sevilla FC both teams to score at 1.80 on SS
Over 2.5 goals at 2.10 on HL (4-4)

This year's UEFA Super Cup is set to take place in Tbilisi, featuring a showdown between the Champions League winners (FC Barcelona) and the Europa League champions (Sevilla FC).
Sevilla has managed to clinch the Europa League title for the second year running, which has secured them a direct ticket to the Champions League. Just like in previous seasons, they’ve offloaded some heavy hitters—think Carlos Bacca moving to AC Milan and Arturo Vidal heading to FC Barcelona—but this summer they’ve actually been aggressive in the market, which honestly looks like a smart move. They've brought in names like Yevhen Konoplyanka from Dnipro, Eric Rami from AC Milan, Danijel N'Zonzi from Stoke City, and Kevin Großkreutz from Celta Vigo, plus they've snagged Ciro Immobile on loan from Borussia Dortmund. If Unai Emery can actually gel all these new pieces into his tactical setup, I truly believe Sevilla could be fighting for a top 3 or 4 spot in the league this season. But man, their first test is about as tough as it gets.
On the other side, FC Barcelona absolutely tore it up last season, sweeping the treble. That Messi-Neymar-Suarez trio was nothing short of a goal-scoring machine, probably the most lethal frontline any single club has ever seen in football history. Barça has already inked deals for the aforementioned Arturo Vidal and Ard turati, but thanks to those pesky UEFA sanctions, they won't see the pitch until 2016. That means the Blaugrana will be stepping out tonight missing two massive starters—Jordi Alba and Neymar—which really guts their strength in both attack and defense.
While this match is technically a battle for the season's first trophy, let's be real: nobody plays at 100% intensity in this specific fixture. Since it's the very first competitive match for both sides, expect things to feel a bit loose, with more mistakes on both ends of the field than usual. Historically, these two clubs have always been clinical when they face off in league play; looking back at their last six meetings, we saw Over 2.5 goals hit in four of them, averaging a whopping 4.7 goals per game! They drew once, and while Barça walked away with the win in five, Sevilla consistently found the back of the net once or twice.
My gut tells me both teams are going to open up and play aggressively, especially Sevilla, who have absolutely nothing to lose against what is currently the most dominant squad on the planet. If they were raining goals during the domestic season, why shouldn't they do the same tonight in a slightly lower-stakes environment? The odds here look pretty juicy to me.

Ried- Salzburg pick 2 1.35 SS (0-4/1-4)

Salzburg lost more than half their squad to RB Leipzig this season—definitely a massive handicap. Even though they're weakened, they should grab their first league win of the season against a side that hasn't won a single game in the first three rounds, just like the visitors. For anyone looking to play it clean, the odds for match 2 are 1.50... plenty enough for me.

Luis Suarez scores 1.80 SS (scores)

Since Neymar’s dealing with some dental issues and won't be able to compete today, all eyes are on the duo of Luis Suarez and Messi. Suarez went through the full preseason and he's physically ready—Messi only played one match, and that was against Roma. Since the focus will be on keeping the ball with Messi while he looks to feed those forward passes, Suarez is definitely going to find the back of the net.

A little something to wrap up the day:

Unión de Santa Fe - Racing Club
over 2.5 @ 2.56 (1-2)
at Dimes, 2.45 at Pinnacle (2.40 gross / 2.15 net in the screenshot, so you guys can figure out that math difference itself)
Santa Fe is a pretty weird outfit for Argentina—they usually lean toward this wide-open style of play. They’re at their best in the first half; once they get going, it’s incredibly hard to park the bus against them when they're trying to seize control early. That means they tend to leak goals too, but on the flip side, Racing seems to love playing in that kind of chaos this season. Honestly, I think this line is way too generous for what I’m expecting from this match.

By the way, the online odds are cratering—on Pinnacle, it’s dropped from an opening 2.79 down to 2.46 right now!!

Kickoff is at 11:10 PM

Mogi Mirim - Luverdense 3+, 2.24 Pinny (1-1)
I’m not exactly feeling Mogi Mirim's opponent here. They're one of the most aggressive teams in the Brazilian second division—basically the ultimate underdogs—but even so, I think the price here is totally unrealistic. You aren't looking at some cautious, boring slog between two mediocre sides with zero ambition!

Besides, Mogi has been sitting at 13-7 on this specific margin this season and has been hitting plenty of overs lately. I know chasing overs in this league is a nightmare, but even then, the over shouldn't be such a massive underdog if anything.

Dorados de Sinaloa - Monterrey 3+, 2.09 (1-4)(pinny, 5dimes)
Everything Monterrey has played this summer has gone over 2.5, sometimes even blowing past the 3+ mark entirely. The Dorados guys are the newcomers in the league, and you'd expect them to show a slightly different approach at home, so this could technically be Monterrey's first "under" game of this phase of the season... but is that actually more likely than the alternative? Not in my book. I'm taking this price because it just doesn't reflect what I expect to see on the pitch.

Plus, this matchup just feels right, and in goal totals betting, that gut feeling about the matchup is everything. Dorados used to be one of the most clinical sides in the second division for years.

A little gamble here: LA Lakers - Miami Heat 2 8.50 x2 3.00 (1-2)

As game day approaches, the odds for the away team have skyrocketed according to the sportsbooks. I’m planning to put a small wager on this. Why? Because the massive gap in talent isn't quite as wide as the meager odds for the home team suggest.

The home team is largely the same squad they fielded last season, making them heavy favorites for this matchup.
Miami is a rather unpredictable team. They frequently drop games against much weaker opponents, yet they often play significantly better against top-tier sides, occasionally pulling off an upset.

I've been following some American sports forums, and many experts agree that this Miami lineup struggles against the home team. They find it particularly difficult to play against a defensive unit that relies almost exclusively on counterattacks.
Miami possesses several quick passers who can create scoring opportunities in just a few touches, whereas the Lakers' defense tends to be somewhat sluggish and static. This could lead to significant problems for the home side during this game.

If the visitors can hold firm and keep a clean sheet in the first half, they have a strong chance of walking away with all three points. As the game progresses, the home team will be forced to open up even more, which plays right into the hands of a team capable of punishing them on the break.

I suspect the reason for this dip in odds is simply that Miami had a rough start to the season and their preseason performance was underwhelming.
The home team is clearly taking today's opponent seriously, and those combined factors are undoubtedly driving these lackluster odds.

If anyone feels inclined, feel free to place a small bet on this. I am sharing this analysis primarily so you don't overextend yourselves on this specific parlay, as I am certain today's "sure thing" will be a staple in many accumulators.

I am no longer feeling the anxiety of sweating a 1.36 line. I am staying relaxed and avoiding unnecessary worry.😁

BTW. I just noticed over 2.5 goals 2.70 (superpsport)

Marquense vs Xelaju Over 2.5 @ 2.00 (psk) (1-0)

Honestly, I didn't get around to posting this earlier—anyway, the home side is on this insane winning streak with the overs, plus they’re easily one of the most high-scoring squads in the league. To me, this looks like solid value (even if you factor in all the recent injuries)

Philadelphia vs Chicago Over 3 @ 2.56 (3-3) (pinny)
Just a few days ago, these two played a cup match, also in Philly, and it ended a measly 1-0. I took a look at the stats from that game, and it looked something like this:

http://i58.tinypic.com/oa17uu

I mean, raw shot stats are just numbers on a page, but when you actually dig into the chart showing where those shots were coming from and what kind of attempts they were, you can see there should have been way more goals than just that single one.

Now, just three days later, we've got the same teams on the same pitch. In the players' subconscious, those patterns stick—and experience tells me that in situations like this, chances tend to open up easier. We just need them to create as many opportunities as they did three days ago, because there's no way they're going to keep missing like that.

So, yeah... expecting things to open up a bit today...

Barcelona vs. Athletic Bilbao: Red Card at 3.38 (Bet365)

I mostly stick to international sportsbooks because they offer much better odds on the specific markets I play.
For instance, a place like DraftKings only offers 2.70 for this, but I expect other books will adjust their lines tomorrow.
Looking at the Super Cup second leg, Barcelona faces an almost impossible task trying to overcome a four-goal deficit.

I am putting a significant amount of my bankroll behind this red card option, especially given several factors that point in that direction:

Barcelona will likely charge from the opening whistle looking for an early goal. If they manage to score once or twice in the first half, the visitors might start to panic. If the visitors can't find the net themselves, anything could happen.
To be honest, I find it hard to believe Barcelona can pull this off and win. To score four goals, they have to play completely open, and their defense is currently in total collapse.
Athletic Bilbao is excellent on the counterattack, and I suspect they will find the back of the net.

Ultimately, I anticipate a high level of tension on the pitch. We might see time-wasting tactics from the visitors or players stepping out to argue, so I expect the referee to be quite busy handing out cards.
A red card is a very real possibility for Barcelona. If things don't go their way early on, they will clearly become frustrated. Players like Lionel Messi, Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets, and Dani Alves are exactly the type of players who tend to pick up cards in matches like this.

In their last match, there were as many as 10 cards handed out; it was a miracle there wasn't a red.
If the visitors manage to score in the first half and effectively decide the winner, I am certain the game won't settle down. On the contrary, it will likely boil over.

Those are just my thoughts and observations regarding this matchup. This is what I am targeting tomorrow.🍿

I have been staring at the odds for a red card to be issued during this contest—currently sitting at 3.38 on my preferred sportsbook—and I cannot help but feel a certain sense of nervous anticipation. There is just something about the intensity of these two sides that makes me wonder if tempers might flare under the pressure of the pitch. While I am perhaps being a bit too cautious in my analysis, I can't shake the feeling that the officiating could play a decisive role in how this match unfolds.

I feel compelled to offer a single statistical insight that might lend some much-needed weight to this particular wager:
It is quite disheartening to observe that during the second leg of the Super Cup, we have seen a red card issued in 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, and most recently in 2014—meaning that for the last four consecutive years, the referee has felt compelled to send someone off.

Osijek vs. Lokomotiva: Both Teams to Score at 1.80 (+1) (0-1)
I just have to take this bet, much like I did during the last matchup between the Lokomotiva guys and Hajduk Split (where the Split residents pulled off a 2-1 win). To avoid repeating myself too much, I’ll just hit the highlights: Lokomotiva is a team that plays incredibly open football, which is clearly reflected in their numbers—out of 9 competitive matches this season, 8 of them ended with over 2.5 goals (aside from that blowout loss against PAOK in Greece where they went down 6-0), averaging about 4.22 goals per game. I honestly believe the Chicago residents are going to attack today because they're sitting second to last in the league with a 1-1-3 record, making a win absolutely mandatory—and they might find some confidence knowing they've won 3 of their last 4 head-to-head meetings and drew once.
Osijek is still a young squad in the making, so those massive defensive blunders will likely haunt them throughout the entire season. For instance, during a notoriously tough away trip to Koprivnica, they made three such mistakes and ended up losing 3-0. They are currently sitting just one spot above Lokomotiva with a 1-2-2 record, so they desperately need the points. But here is what matters for my pick: in their first 5 games, they've had 3 "both teams score" outcomes, which isn't mind-blowing stats-wise, but knowing their playing style and how shaky the Lokomotiva defense is, I highly doubt Osijek won't find the net today, and the same goes for the Chicago side, who will surely capitalize on an uncoordinated Osijek backline.
In their last 8 head-to-head matchups, both sides found the net 5 times, while in 3 instances, Osijek failed to score (results were 2-0, 2-0, and 5-0 in favor of Hajduk fans, twice away). I don't think that's happening today, especially since Lokomotiva is conceding 2.22 goals per match, and Osijek has only failed to score against Slaven.

And we have Velasco Carballo officiating today—a guy who treats red cards like they're an alien concept: http://worldreferee.com/site/copy.ph...ts&linkID=1074

If you're going to gamble like this, you might as well bet on a penalty—he tends to hand those out about once every three games.

If you're going to play those kinds of games, you might as well try calling a penalty, since he seems to award one every third match on average.

Of course, the referee and his specific criteria matter. However, in matches like this, all that goes out the window because I expect plenty of on-field drama and player frustration.
He recently officiated our game against Norway, where we ended up swallowing a red card and saw quite a few yellows handed out.
The referee's statistics for this particular match aren't really a major factor.
But well, everyone has their own perspective and opinion.

By the way, he handles international fixtures—like the Champions League, the Euros, and the World Cup—and there is a massive difference between those and this type of game.

The ref's stats for this specific match don't carry much weight.
But hey, everyone has their own perspective.

By the way, he handles international fixtures—Champions League, Euros, World Cup—which is a massive difference compared to this kind of matchup.

Look, you're bringing up our game against the Norwegians just because you watched it and it was us—you probably didn't catch his other games, especially since he hasn't handed out a red card in 16 straight matches.

As for your point about international matches—that actually works in my favor. Leagues run for 35 to 49 games a season, whereas European championships and cups consist of maybe 3 to 6 group stage matches plus the knockout rounds. That structure is much closer to today's game, where there's more chaos regarding scoring or holding onto a lead—something you admitted yourself.

There’s also a very real chance the Super Cup winner is already effectively decided. If FC Barcelona can't find a way to make things interesting by the 60th minute—or even earlier—they might just settle for the loss. That would steer the match into much calmer waters, as our commentators would say.

And that’s exactly why—for everyone of us who thinks Bilbao is nothing more than a total fraud of a team and expects FC Barcelona to steamroll right through this advantage—we can bundle all of this into one massive combo. We're talking a red card, a penalty, an F2, and honestly, I’d even take over 5.5 yellow cards. It’s a damn shame they don't let you add Suarez to the goalscorer list, or Messi, obviously.

Anyway, I caught an interesting matchup earlier:

Pacos Ferreira vs. Academica Coimbra (1-0)
Over 2.5 @ 2.38 Pinnacle
Over 3.5 @ 4.60 Marathon
Both teams to score & Over 2.5 @ 2.50 PSK

I remember from my time following the Portuguese league—especially watching Pacos—that these two clubs tend to play an attacking style. Their matches usually end with plenty of goals, so I decided to see how they match up head-to-head.
The numbers looked promising. Over the last two seasons, their games have been absolute goal fests: 4-2, 2-4, 2-2, and 3-2. That brings a ridiculous average of 5.25 goals over those two seasons.
They’ve also kicked off this current season with high-scoring affairs, so I'm hoping the trend continues. As is typical for the Portuguese league, the odds on the goal totals are quite generous. 😁

I’m fully backing this pick—mostly because looking back at the opening round of the Portuguese league, there was only one single match where they didn't hit the over 2.5 mark...

The only thing giving me pause is the scheduling; we're talking about a Monday night kickoff, which is practically cursed when you're hunting for goals.🙂

I'll throw my own little prediction into the ring here:

Bray - Bohemians under 1.5, 3.00 (3-1) (bet365)
Bray has been stuck in an eleven (!!) game streak of staying under these margins in league play. You think that's a coincidence? Not a chance. After they surrendered a whopping 20 goals over just four matches back in mid-May, 🤣 I assume they decided to experiment with some radical new tactical philosophies—maybe playing with two goalkeepers or an 8-1-1 formation or something equally absurd.🤣

Because let's be real: you can't have a string of 1-0 or 0-0 results eleven times in a row and just blame it on statistical variance...

Obviously, things won't stay this way forever, but damn, the odds are genuinely too good to pass up, even if they're facing a heavy "over" leaning side on the road. Bray has effectively sucked the very soul out of every single team they've faced lately—aside from that one random cup match three months ago—and honestly, the oddsmakers should be adjusting those prices more accurately to reflect it.

Besides, these teams are sitting right next to each other in the middle of the table, which is the classic sweet spot for low-scoring affairs. And if my memory serves me right, Americans always seem to move a bit "slower" during a Monday night slot compared to their natural rhythm on a Friday night.

That's plenty of ammunition for the under. As for specific player stats or injury news? I haven't got a clue, and frankly, I don't want to. Digging into that kind of stuff just creates noise when you're trying to make a decision. Every missed training session or minor injury can be spun either way regarding an over or an under; I'd rather not have a cacophony of useless info cluttering my head. I'll stick to the facts that actually matter... which I've already laid out.

Manchester United(h-1,5)-Club Brugge 1 2,08 Pinnacle (3-1)
Manchester is finally heading back to where they belong—back on the European stage—after missing out on everything last season due to that absolute disaster of a league finish. Their ticket to the Champions League depends on getting past Club Brugge, who are showing up to England looking incredibly thin after a string of injuries.
Let’s talk about the home side first. The devils have actually set up a defense that looked practically flawless during the first two rounds of the Premier League, but the real headache for Gaal's squad remains their lack of creativity and finishing. That said, they managed to grind out 1-0 wins against both Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa and are currently sitting at the top of the table (alongside a few others). It’s blindingly obvious that Brugge isn't even in the same zip code as the quality shown by those two, or honestly, anyone else playing in the Premier League. If you ask me, they aren't even on the level of some decent second-division sides, especially given how decimated they are right now. They've already lost six players to injury this season, and just before this kickoff, two more went down. It’s hard to draw any meaningful comparisons between Brugge's domestic results and this specific matchup, so I'll just say this: the handicap odds on United seem way too high. They definitely won't want to head into the second leg in Belgium feeling anything less than in control, so securing a win with a handicap is the priority here. I'm really hoping Wayne Rooney, Memphis Depay, and the rest of the attacking unit actually find their rhythm against a mediocre European club.
