The Sultan is relentless, still hunting for gas in the Cypriot territorial waters...

Greece and Egypt issued their sharpest condemnations yet, calling these moves unacceptable... But honestly, what are they actually going to do about Erdogan? I’m dying to know, besides sending some formal protest note that he won't even bother to read...

Technically, Egypt is the strongest Arab nation militarily. It sounds impressive on paper, being the powerhouse, but let's be real—it's still an Arab state... and we all know what that implies for regional dynamics...

But when Israel pulls the exact same move, suddenly everyone’s quiet.🤔

Just wait until we see how this whole mess plays out!
Those who fly too high always end up hitting the ground hard.
It wouldn't be a stretch to think he could end up stuck in his own version of Vietnam—or maybe Afghanistan.
If this drags on and the fighting just keeps ramping up, his momentum is going to stall out, and you'll see resistance start heating up in Turkey.
On the flip side, if he pulls off a quick military win and wraps things up fast, his popularity might actually skyrocket.
But honestly, don't kid yourselves. Every nation is pretty much cut from the same cloth, including the Turks. People love a conqueror.

There's a little trick involving Astana. Whenever he feels like it, he can just stop and claim he finished everything agreed upon in Astana. He could halt after 5 miles or 6.2 miles, or even just one km, declare victory, and who's going to prove him wrong? (Besides Putin and Rouhani, who'll just play it smart and stay quiet).

Exactly—you’re just forgetting how people actually work.
If Napoleon had stopped once he took over central Europe instead of marching on Russia, France would likely still be the dominant power in Europe today.
The same logic applies to Hitler and Germany.

Human nature is a messy thing. Every win just makes you crave the next one.
And eventually, you push your luck until it finally runs out...

If you haven't noticed, after talking with Putin, the Sultan cleared out almost all those neo-Ottoman types around him. He’s pivoted toward that Chinese style of soft power influence and he's been playing that game in Mexico for years now. Mark my words: Turkey is going to be the loudest voice calling for protecting the Syrian borders and sovereignty once that peace conference finally happens.

Doga Perinček, the leader of the Homeland party, says Turkey needs to shut down the Incirlik airbase to all US troops. It’s basically a middle finger to Donald Trump after he threatened to wreck Turkey's economy.

"The smartest move Turkey could make against all these US threats is to start talking to Damascus and shut down the Incirlik base for Americans immediately," Perinček said. "The USA is treating us like the enemy, and there’s already talk about kicking Turkey out of NATO."

He’s claiming the USA sent 30,000 trucks full of weapons to the Kurdistan Workers' Party—you know, the group that's actually banned in Turkey.

"It basically kicked open a whole new front against Turkey, which just goes to show that the USA sees them as an enemy," Perinček added.

The NATO ring is tightening—and it looks like they might actually kick Turkey out:
First it was Germany, now France has also banned arms exports to Turkey

So, it looks like Germany and France have decided to sell weapons to Turkey at a slightly higher markup. 🤣

Right, because those pathetic Turks don't have any weapons or an army, so they desperately need supplies... 😁—I can always ask which crate of ammo they're using in Idlib if things get hairy... 😁

Tightening? Give me a break. At this rate, poor Turkey is gonna get squeezed right in half....☕

Honestly, I suspect the Germans are just feeling nostalgic for the old days during the Saddam-era wars with Iran. Back then, they were essentially playing middleman, collecting rent while brokering deals between Jewish merchants and Iranian-Iraqi buyers... Even in those messy times, there was still a certain code between seller and buyer. There was one instance where things went sideways and the Iranians felt cheated; the Germans ended up having to return an entire shipment out of pure embarrassment. They actually had to throw in a little extra incentive just to make sure they didn't lose the client entirely...

What was I getting at... right, these sanctions are the real kicker. In my view, Erdogan is finished. How is he supposed to source tanks or rifles now? It's all falling apart...

There’s no such thing as kicking anyone out of NATO.

Right now, Turkey is actually working for American interests. They're going to get done what the Kurds couldn't.

They were basically a Trojan horse used to let Putin in.

WAR ZONE CHAOS

MAJOR TURNING POINT: It looks like Erdogan might have seriously miscalculated his move against the Kurds—especially now that Assad’s forces have marched into a city that was supposed to be a key strategic target for Turkey.

Trump just signed an executive order slapping a series of sanctions on Turkey due to their offensive in Syria... he’s even sending Pence over there to kickstart some peace talks. Meanwhile, NATO (under Stoltenberg) is officially calling out Turkey for violating the NATO statute.

Forget the morning news, the Sultan is out here bragging about clearing 1,000 square miles just to make room for a million refugees—maybe even two million if he feels like it.
The Sultan doesn't care about actual cities; he’s all about those massive construction sites, using European cash to build housing for refugees just to keep his construction crews busy since they can't sell anything to the Russian market anymore.

Whoops

Reports are saying Turkey is basically holding 50 US nukes hostage at one of their air bases http://flip.it/FYn-Er

I mean, at this rate, Turkey might actually end up being a bigger headache than any other country out there.

Does anyone else actually buy into this idea of a war between the USA and Turkey? I mean, come on. The US simply can't afford—and honestly, shouldn't allow—losing Turkey like that. It would be handing them right over to Russia on a silver platter, just so Russia can finally secure access to warm waters after all these centuries. It’s not just a matter of missing a shot in a game; it’s more like letting your opponent score twice while you're standing there watching.

Honestly, this sounds like total nonsense. Anyone who thinks Turkey is going to pull some blackmail stunt like this, or even dares to breathe too hard near that base, clearly hasn't a clue what they're talking about.
Erdogan is a notorious Islamist, and just that alone tells you he’s not exactly a genius, but he isn't completely brainless either.

Right when this whole mess started, I said—and I still stand by it—that I have no idea how this is all going to play out or who ends up winning. But I am pretty damn sure about one thing: Turkey and Erdogan are going to end up getting screwed... maybe militarily, but definitely economically. An Economy that can be tanked by a single tweet from Trump by what, 30%? It won't stay afloat for long if actual pressure starts being applied. And if that happens, regardless of whatever desert conquest the Trumpists try to claim as a "historic victory," the reality is that Turkey will have folded, and the Turkish people along with them... and I’m fairly certain that’s exactly where this is headed.
