We’re going to have to aim for something along these lines—and honestly, that would be the absolute best-case scenario... I don't even want to dwell on what happens if things go sideways... if it turns out looking truly terrible, I'll just have to ask the photographer to blur her out 🤣

If they end up looking like this, it'll be awesome—I actually really dig this sketched-out look.

Sarah Taylor4 - since my crew only works with whipped cream, I figured I’d go with a "design" where any little "mistakes" would be basically invisible... I mean, what else can I really do? 🤷
just maybe some silver ribbons... or perhaps orchids—I haven't quite decided yet...

if anyone else ends up with something similar—it’ll be amazing...
but I'm honestly a little worried it won't turn out right...

on the bright side—at least it'll taste delicious 😍

I remember you saying it was going to be a total toss-up—now I finally get why...
I honestly think orchids would look stunning on her,
and besides the fact that she’s absolutely classy, she’d look incredible too.

Angela Garcia2 said:Hey ladies, does anyone know where I can pick up some porcelain cake toppers? Not looking for anything edible—just some cute, simple little figurines we can keep as keepsakes after the party.

Also, I see you all have been hitting up Apple and Kaiser for desserts... We ended up going with Apple; everything is always so fresh and delicious, so we grab their stuff for pretty much every occasion. I actually picked up some from Kaiser yesterday to give them a shot since everyone here raves about them, but honestly? Total letdown. They all tasted exactly the same to me, and don't even get me started on that neon pink "authentic homemade" cake I saw—yikes! To be fair, Apple has a couple of varieties that aren't really my thing either—like those super dry ones loaded with cocoa—but we just skip those.

🤣 We actually nicknamed that one the "blah" cake. 😉They didn't wow me either, even though I grabbed them specifically because of the hype around here...

Frank, Sugarland might actually be able to recreate those beautiful patterns for you. They did that for me once and the results were lovely. I wish I had a photo of the cake to show you. 😢Which flavors did you end up choosing? And are you using their display stand or Trajbar's? A friend of mine had the Trajbar one, but I never thought to ask her about it. Apparently, they had a small wedding over in Trajbar recently and ordered their cakes from Sugarland. 🙂

Do you honestly think there's a chance this could actually turn out well...? 😍 🙂
It’s such a shame you don't have a photo posted... I was really looking forward to putting a face to the name... 😢 But honestly, you’ve already comforted me quite a bit... I just can't stop obsessing over the idea that I'm going to end up with an ugly cake—and then I'll be stuck having to track down some Photoshop expert like Artovac just to fix the photos... 🤣

That stand is actually from Sugarland—it has this lovely, old-school romantic vibe to it... honestly, it fits the whole mood of the wedding perfectly. 😉

honestly, I feel like I can finally breathe again—it’s like that weight is just lifting, even if it makes me want to lose my mind just a little bit... 😍

Hey everyone... so I’m basically stuck in this total indecision loop between two different cakes... Since I’m one of those people who gets super picky about every little detail—like, everything *has* to match perfectly or I'll lose my mind—I’ve been leaning toward that white and chocolate combo. I think we've pretty much settled on that being the winner. But then again, there's something about this second option that just keeps calling to me. So, the vibe is basically white and chocolate—the flowers will be all white, the balloons will be white, the wedding dress is white, the suit is chocolate... and then the cake... 😁what do you guys think?

instead of purple accents on this one, I was thinking more along the lines of a champagne color 😁just to keep it classy

The photos are way too big, though. They shouldn't be any larger than the palm of your hand.

Honestly, I’m leaning much more towards the first one.

I find myself favoring the first option as well; its distinctiveness and unconventional nature make it far more striking. It possesses a certain singularity.

Thanks, I really think that’s how it’ll play out—they seem to have a bit of an edge right out of the gate...😍

Look, I’m no pastry chef or anything, but aren't croquembouche cakes basically just those things that shatter because they're hollow inside?

I remember some lady on this forum had one of those at her wedding—it was shaped like two donkeys or something... can't recall which user it was now.

Praline crunch can serve as nothing more than a simple component within a cake recipe...

That's exactly what I was thinking! I tried searching Google for it, but came up totally empty...

I mean, sure, velvetraven12 could probably pull it off, but let’s be real—most people just use that stuff for breaking and entering.🙂

Sandra Wilson5, look, I know for a fact Bobis makes those cakes—just go check out their website.
