But I have this vision where the second and third tiers would be tilted or set at an angle compared to the base... if that even makes sense 😕 . Does anyone happen to have any photos of something like that? I stumbled upon a picture online the other day that I absolutely loved, but I totally forgot to save it and now it’s just vanished into the void of the internet...

Something like this?😉

I’m grabbing the fourteenth cake too!
It’s perfect. We’re doing it with these "sort of" petal decorations in different sizes, just scattered over the top like they were tossed there by hand...

Olivia Adams71, yeah, something like that... maybe just make that bottom one a little bigger, if that's even possible? But honestly, that's pretty much it. Thanks a million, seriously.. 😍

Anyone actually know anything about those 'Ana' cookies from that small town in the Midwest...???

William Nguyen8 said:So, I finally tracked down the cookies (for Srčeko🙂🙂), and now I’m on the hunt for cookie boxes (to pass them out) and trays (for the tables).
Do any of you know where I can pick up some sturdy trays with clear lids? Also, where’s the best spot to find decent deals on cookie boxes?

Check out everything inc. in a small town in the Midwest, they have their own website too.

Oh my gosh, Sarah Taylor4—that is absolutely stunning!!! 😍
That’s exactly the kind of thing I’ve been dreaming about! 😉

I actually thought of you the second I saw these photos—since you mentioned how tiny they’re going to be—but now I’m wondering, are you leaning towards that purple color?

Yeah, I’d probably go with green or purple, but since it’s a beach wedding, those ones you posted with the starfish and seashells would be totally perfect!😍😉

I’m just not looking anymore... I can't look... I’ve officially committed to the cake... yes, the cake is chosen... I am strictly avoiding the cupcakes... no glancing at the cupcakes... absolutely no looking at those cupcakes (honestly, this is basically my mantra right now, Frank)

Hey ladies, can anyone help a girl out? Everything else is totally checked off the list, but now I’m stuck on the cake situation and I just cannot make up my mind. I know where I want to get it, I just haven't picked a style yet. 😁
So, I called up the bakery today to check things out and put down a reservation, but now I have to head over there in person to go over the design. And here’s where I’m hitting a wall: the lady there told me that if I want to feed about 100 people, we should probably go with a three-tier setup. But I was really dreaming of one of those sleek, seamless cakes—you know, without the big stands in between layers—and I'm worried that if I go that route, it's gonna look way too tiny. 🤷
If you guys could drop some pics of romantic-looking cakes below, that would be amazing! I'm going for a super soft vibe with champagne and apricot tones. Sorry for rambling, but honestly, with the wedding only a month away, every single little detail feels like a massive deal right now.
Thanks so much!
🙂

John Lopez29, have you actually scrolled through this entire thread? Or better yet, maybe just browse the various wedding subforums—there’s a whole section dedicated to champagne, too. Honestly, if you look through any of the wedding or cake discussions, you'll find plenty of inspiration. You might actually dig that specific shape, you could just swap out the color to suit your taste
Good luck

I actually went with a single-stack, round three-tier cake myself. It was meant for about 80 guests, but we actually ran a little short on slices toward the end... If you're feeling nervous about the size, maybe do what we did? We brought an extra cake to the venue as a gift, so the servers just kept bringing more out—and if we ran low, they'd just supplement with pieces from the second one. 😁

Thanks so much, Sarah Taylor4! And yeah, I’ve been scrolling through everything on the forum, but honestly? Most of it feels way too "trendy" for my vibe. I’m definitely more of a vintage soul—I live for that timeless, old-school classic look. That’s really what I’m hunting for right now... but I’m gonna keep digging online for a bit, maybe I'll stumble upon something perfect. 🙂

It would be absolutely amazing if I could just whip up another batch myself, but there’s this strict rule that all the cookies and cakes have to come from a licensed professional bakery. The only way I can really pull this off is by placing a massive order for a large cake from a local shop—not quite enough for a hundred people, but big enough for about 120 guests. I’m honestly sitting here wondering if that sounds a bit ridiculous, though. Maybe I’m totally overthinking things and stressing out for nothing, but looking at the size of it, it feels like it might be a little small for a crowd that big... 🤷

They didn't even ask us specifically where that second cake was coming from—so really, you could just pick one up from a professional bakery and bring it to the restaurant. And hey, if nobody touches it, you've got a cake ready to take back to the office or wherever you might want to treat someone else the next day! That was actually our plan for it, but since we ran short on the main cake, this one ended up being our perfect little lifesaver. 😁

Our cake is going to be connected and three tiers, too! I chose exactly three because it looks so much better for that style, plus it's safer since the layers are stacked directly. Basically, they're making us a main three-tier cake and then a separate smaller one with the same flavor so we don't run out. Honestly, if you're worried about having enough for 100 people, that seems like your best bet.
