Honestly, the one thing getting under my skin lately is how incredibly easy it is to throw me off balance. When someone pushes my buttons, I hit this level of instant, white-hot rage where I feel like I could actually strangle someone, and then the tears just start flowing right along with the anger. It’s exhausting. And once the dust settles and I finally calm down, I just end up feeling like a complete idiot for reacting that way. It’s honestly pretty awful... 🙂

It honestly drives me crazy when people start lecturing me, especially since they know damn well I’m vomiting so much I can barely keep a single meal down

I was prone to outbursts even before I was pregnant 🤣 and everything used to grate on my nerves... but now 🙂 things have reached a breaking point... the smallest, most trivial thing sets me off, and I'll start sobbing from sheer stress 🤣 and then I can't stop—just cry and cry and cry... sometimes I don't even remember what started it, but I'm still sitting there weeping... 🙄

The music just grates on my nerves🙂😂 ...if there's any way to swap it for someone who'll annoy me less🤣
Don't even get me started on the brain fog. I'm still on progesterone, and half the time I walk into the bathroom to grab my meds only to realize I've already forgotten why I went in there in the first place...

I truly struggle to understand how some people manage to stand up on a crowded subway, let alone how they can allow themselves to be pressured into giving up their seats... I am currently five months along, and I make it a point to prioritize my own physical needs every single time. My back is already aching quite terribly, making it difficult to remain standing for any extended period, especially on a city bus where a sudden brake could send me flying forward—and I simply cannot risk that... 🙂 For instance, when I visited the T-Mobile Center, I was assigned seat 195 instead of 145, so I approached the first service desk, explained that I am pregnant, and asked if I might be accommodated by skipping the line, and of course, they were more than happy to help 😁 Earlier today, I went to confession at the cathedral; I arrived at the beginning of the queue and politely inquired if I might be permitted to enter given my pregnancy, since standing and waiting for two hours is physically impossible for me, and naturally, the people there were very kind to let me through 😁 When certain elderly individuals stand near me and begin to mutter comments under their breath, I find I cannot even bring myself to acknowledge them... unless they address me directly, at which point I would simply inform them that I am pregnant and unable to stand for such durations!!!! 🙂
The only place that refused to accommodate me was at Fidelity, so I simply turned around gracefully and decided to head over to the Post Office instead 😁

It’s finally happening... I am officially DONE with everyone
... In a perfect world, I’d just disappear with my son and my partner for the next two months, where my only responsibilities involve hitting the shops, sleeping, and eating good food.
Honestly, anyone who dares to get within twenty feet of me should probably just stay away.
I’ve reached my absolute limit.

They keep asking me the most mindless questions, offering "advice" that I’d much rather shove right back down their throats, and stirring up drama that does more harm than good. To top it all off, everything they say—if it isn't an outright provocation—feels like one.

Just two more months to go... 🙂

hahaha, I second that... I’m at week 18 and everyone is driving me crazy... anyone who notices I’m pregnant feels entitled to spend the next half hour detailing their own pregnancy experience... I can't deal... everyone is an expert advisor... if I mention feeling terrible, they immediately counter with, "Well, when I had horrible morning sickness, I couldn't even get out of bed until last week"—but then they claim that despite the nausea and vomiting, they were still running the entire household. My grandmother told my husband today how she felt sick too, but she was still out there doing laundry by hand at the sink...🙂...and apparently, my mother had it even worse because that same grandmother didn't help her at all🙂...of course, she'll only say that once she's gone... my mother-in-law said she was practically deathly ill from vomiting when she gave birth... my neighbor... blah blah blah... I realize my hormones are totally messing with me... and that I really should just chill out... but self-control is hard to find right now... sometimes I just want to fire them all—though, naturally, I'm immediately hit with guilt... oh, the HORMONES...🙂...but seriously, I don't understand why they can't see that I'm pregnant and could use a little grace... instead, they just insist on pushing their own stories... first my mom lectures me about driving, then my grandmother tells me about some girl in the neighborhood who drove until her very last day... ugh, enough...
I know it's mostly me... but people really are impossible sometimes.😁😁😁😁

Oh, please! It’s definitely not us; everyone else is clearly at fault, and that's that.😬

I get that hormones play a part, I really do, but everyone around me seems to think that gives them a free pass to push my buttons and mess with my head
whenever I lose my cool, rolling their eyes and acting like, "Oh, it's just your hormones talking, right...?"

Honestly, those unsolicited "helpful" tips from women really get under my skin. Like, "Oh, you should have done this earlier," or whatever. I don't care what anyone else did—this is my pregnancy, and I'll do things my way if I want to. 🙂 🙂 😠
Everything is just testing my patience lately, from not being able to even trim my own toenails to feeling totally clumsy. It’s driving me crazy, but I guess there are only about four months left to go. 🤣 🤣 🤣

It drives me crazy when people post things like, "Oh, I only gained 5 pounds..." 😂 Just don't tell them—it's clearly all just my hormones talking. 😁

^^ Well, I suppose it really depends on what your starting weight was to begin with. 😉
When I see someone mention gaining two pounds, my first thought is that they probably started their pregnancy at a slightly higher baseline, so it wouldn't even be healthy if they gained much more than that.

Honestly, I’m just feeling pretty lucky with my partner lately; during my first pregnancy, he used to give me a hard time about every little pound I put on.
But this guy? He’s different. He doesn't nag me about every ounce; instead, he actually looks at my BMI and understands that women don't just blindly follow some arbitrary rule about gaining "up to 20 pounds" during pregnancy.
That’s honestly the best part—when people who have never been pregnant, have no intention of being pregnant, and have maybe seen two pregnant women in their entire lives, suddenly decide they're experts on exactly how much weight a woman *should* be putting on. 🙄

In all honesty, it’s getting harder to deal with anyone who isn't currently pregnant and doesn't share my exact mood right now. 😬

You're right—that's exactly what my doctor told me. I started out quite lean, and honestly, I probably would have gained 3 or 4 pounds anyway if I had just stopped working and dealing with constant stress. I have friends who gained 45 pounds and were perfectly fine, returning to their original weight within a year... meanwhile, a colleague of mine is due any day now and has only gained about 13 pounds total, but keep in mind, she was always a bit curvy.

My stomach has been itching like crazy for the last few days😲. And I’m constantly rubbing at it, just over and over again🤷.
Yesterday, I was walking around with my jacket unzipped because the heat was just too much, and right there on Fifth Avenue, I ended up scratching my midriff so awkwardly that I actually felt embarrassed🤦.

Speaking of which, my chest has been itchy too—though that's lasted way longer than the stomach itch, so I've pretty much just accepted it at this point. At least I didn't end up scratching myself there in public🙂

^^ Even though I was being incredibly careful with moisturizer, stretch marks still tore right through my stomach during my first pregnancy 🙂
Honestly, even now, I’m slathering on lotion like there's no tomorrow, yet the itching is still driving me absolutely insane! 🙂

I suspect you can't really control it much—it's largely down to genetics.🤷 My mom never used a single product and doesn't have one single stretch mark—not even after being quite thin before she was pregnant. As for me? I moisturize, but let's be real... I'm incredibly lazy.🙄😁

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with you there.
That said, I'm actually a big fan of that Whole Foods lotion for expectant moms. It isn't overpriced considering how much packaging they use, it rubs in super fast without being greasy, and since I've always been one of those people who obsessively moisturizes right after a shower, it’s become a little ritual I actually enjoy.
The only thing is... god, this itching! It's been driving me absolutely insane for a few days now, just constant, maddening itching.🙂.

And I swear, my stomach has basically doubled in size over the last two or three days. Maybe my skin is just reacting to the stretch? Until recently, you could barely even tell I was pregnant, but now? My belly walks into the room, introduces itself to everyone, and then—finally—I show up.😁

Yesterday, for the first time ever, I actually got stuck trying to zip up my boots. Like Walker mentioned earlier, I have zero clue how I'm supposed to manage cutting my toenails for the next three months.🤣

Mine seemed to explode in a mere ten days. I suppose this is just how it goes—up until week 19, everything was slow and subtle, and then suddenly—boom!😁
