I stopped by the pharmacy last night, and the woman behind the counter handed me one of those more sensitive tests, suggesting I didn't necessarily have to wait until morning to use it. So, I went ahead and took it right then, and it came back negative. I haven't seen my period yet, though I suppose it should arrive
. I spent most of yesterday feeling a bit nauseous—nothing that actually caused vomiting—and it continued into this morning, so after seeing that negative result, I just assumed the nausea was likely just nerves 🤷

Ryan Morris15 said:I suppose it might be a bit premature to take a test on day 31, especially since my longest cycle was only about 34 days
I guess those longer cycles only seem to happen to me maybe two or three times a year

I took a test five days before my period was due and it was positive.
So, it’s not too early... though if you got a negative and you used a sensitive one (like an Intim Plus or Clearblue), then you aren't pregnant.

Hey, don't let it get to you. You finally have some breathing room now, so you won't be stuck obsessing over testing for at least another three days.
If your cycle usually runs about 34 days, then you probably just jumped the gun by testing too early. Honestly, for some people, it doesn't even show up on the day they expect their period. It’s not officially "done" until you actually get your period—though, fingers crossed, you won't have to worry about that.
So, how many months have you been trying, T?

It isn't so much that I'm getting worked up, I suppose; I just don't particularly care for being left in limbo.
As for how long this has been going on... well...
The way things stand, we haven't really been trying for nearly a year, so if it happens, it happens—it’s not as though it suddenly took hold of us. We have only quite recently, over the last three months, started planning things more seriously and putting in the work😍, though we are still attempting to stay relatively relaxed about it all. That said, I find myself feeling suspicious at even the slightest irregularity in my cycle.
It might be best if I step away from the forums until I actually achieve something concrete; right now, I am just scrolling through and reading about how one person had these symptoms and another had those (which is helpful, of course), but I must admit I feel completely overwhelmed.

Look, everything happens when it’s meant to happen, so don't sweat it too much.. if it doesn't show up this month, maybe try that pillow trick next month.... you'll see, that positive result will pop up before you know it.👍

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about taking a break from the forums too, but honestly, since the big day is getting so close, I find myself hanging out here more than usual... 😉
specifically, you might have some actual answers in maybe three days or so. If you could just track your temperature, you'd at least know by morning if you're looking at a positive result sometime later that day.

Ryan Morris15, any news on your end?

It hasn't even arrived yet, but I've been waking up with stomach cramps for three days now, and yesterday I dealt with some diarrhea (if you'll excuse me)... I'm just waiting... but honestly, I have no idea what's going on.
I suppose it might be best to ask my mother-in-law; she’s one of those people who, the moment she hears someone is pregnant, immediately claims, "Oh... I thought she was looking a little different lately... just a feeling..." and so on and so forth.

So, when should I probably try testing again? I took one on the day my period was actually supposed to start and it came up negative, but I’m feeling all those symptoms, you know? Now I’m about five days late... maybe it isn't pregnancy, but I just have this really strong gut feeling that it might be😉

I imagine I have a rather good idea of how you're feeling. 😁
I suppose you might be able to run it again. I wonder what kind of test you used originally—perhaps one that wasn't quite as sensitive?

Does anyone know where I can pick up a sign test for pregnancy? A friend told me about it, but I can't find it anywhere. Apparently, you can even take it a few days before your period starts.

Hello everyone... I am in desperate need of your help because I am feeling completely lost right now... I went to see my OB-GYN this morning since my period is ten days late, just to figure out what's going on. During the ultrasound, the doctor mentioned seeing a small spot in my uterus, but he couldn't confirm anything else yet... Does anyone know what that could mean? Is it possible that I'm pregnant? And if it is, how far along could I be if it looks like nothing more than a tiny speck? I haven't even told my husband yet... I am just so incredibly anxious about all of this... Thank you all so much in advance for any answers you can give me.

It’s probably a pregnancy. At that stage, you might just see a little speck, but in a few days, it’ll be bigger and much clearer.
If you can, grab a test today and take it first thing in the morning. Just get one of those $11 basic ones from CVS or Walgreens; they're perfectly fine... they show everything you need to know.😉

I’m originally from Mexico, and I honestly have no idea what the medical standards are like over in the States. Back home? It’s a different story. The doctors here can be incredibly rude—it’s almost like they’re just waiting for an excuse to kick you out of the office. It’s a sad reality, but it’s true.
rapidrider3 was performing the ultrasound, and even with the probe, he couldn't see anything definitive. He initially dismissed any chance of pregnancy, but then this tiny little spot showed up on the uterus. Now he's saying it could actually be a pregnancy after all. So, we're just playing the waiting game to see if I'll actually get my positive result. I'm feeling a bit anxious right now... what if things start getting complicated?

I’m still basically flying blind here! So, today is actually my 12th DPO. If I’ve been tracking my temps correctly—which is a big "if," let's be honest—I shouldn't expect my period this Saturday, or at the very latest, Monday.
My temperatures were stuck at 98.1 for a while, but then yesterday they bumped up to 98.2, and today they hit 98.3.
Everything looks really promising right now, which is great, but I’m a little nervous because every single month it starts out with this beautiful rise and then—BAM—on day 14, the temp just crashes. It’s such a rollercoaster. As for symptoms, I've just got some sore breasts, though they're feeling a bit different than usual. They actually hurt when I touch them, but not specifically around the nipples like most people seem to describe, so I don't know. Also, I felt this weird little twinge in my left ovary last night before bed. I don't get much spotting, and I'm really hoping that stays the case, since I think that would be a huge sign.

Honestly, you should go grab another one today—maybe find one that doesn't require you to wait for your first morning bathroom trip. And seriously, how are you being so patient about all this??? I don't know, I'd be a nervous wreck! Major props to you!
Please, please let us know if you take another test...

Hey ladies! Quick question—not quite sure where to post this, so I figured I'd try here. Is it okay to get pregnant if my 3-year-old is still nursing? Thanks for any help!

The only other thing is if you have a small cyst. They have a way of messing with your cycle and making it late. My periods used to be delayed by almost three weeks because of them, and mine were huge—like 3x3 inches...
Just go grab a test and you'll know by tomorrow morning. Good luck.😉

Yeah, you definitely can. I know women who got pregnant just two months after giving birth and ended up nursing both babies at once...

Thanks for getting back to me. It wasn't clear. My period was regular, but it’s late this month. I've been feeling some pregnancy symptoms, though I honestly thought I couldn't get pregnant while breastfeeding my little one.
