Keith Taylor4 said:What kind of bans are you even talking about?

I actually just mentioned how easy it is to start a fight...🙂

Yeah, exactly... you're proving my point perfectly!

Let's look at the big picture:

Under European Union laws, they basically strip the little guy of his right to produce things. Through legal loopholes, you can't even sell what you make unless you have a registered company!

So, every single person selling stuff at a local farmer's market would technically need a business license or face the consequences.

It's the same in the USA, Australia, and the rest of the West—regular citizens aren't allowed to brew their own alcohol because the government holds a total monopoly on it! They only hand out permits to big corporations.

That’s why people in the "lucky" USA or Australia still brew a few gallons of moonshine at home in secret, hoping nobody notices so they don't get arrested!

So, who's really full of it here?😠

Are you being serious? 😕

Look at how things work in this country. Nobody ever asks the sheep for their opinion. They just shear them and milk them! And the sheep? They just keep on bleating! 😢

Everything is being crammed into one basket until it eventually snaps. I expect the same fate for this artificial creation called the EU.

But by the time the EU finally "snaps," there will be SO MUCH EVIL—irreparable damage—done! They'll strip away national identities, turn individuals into mindless sheep—social zombies, and destroy rural life and farming... Through the violence of so-called "legislation," they'll normalize all sorts of deviant behavior—like pushing GMO foods or raising generations of children on the totally fake "values" of a non-existent cosmopolitanism...

Yes, while Mordor falls, plenty of EVIL will be inflicted upon nations!

That’s why we need RESISTANCE—right now!

Marc said:The US joining the European Union? Definitely yes. But to actually meet their standards, it would take at least ten years—and even then, only if we start heading in the right direction immediately. Honestly, it’ll likely take much longer than that.

What kind of "standards" are you talking about? Maybe those standards that crush the little guy—the small business owner, or even the farmer? Like banning someone from making their own produce, cheese, or moonshine? Because that "great" and "democratic" European Union wants to SNATCH those things away and hand them over to massive capitalist corporations!

Don't you dare try making your own cheese. You'll end up in jail!

So, what are you really talking about?

THE EU IS A CURSE TO ANY NATION IT OVERRUNS!

The EU, or a fourth Empire?

The EU is a dictatorship.

A guy recommended it to me since he knows I love this kind of stuff, but I've never even heard of him before.

It’s one of those things you'd find in old video rental stores.😕

There's a review here somewhere

An exceptional film achievement! I've watched it two or three times now. It's about the birth of China as a unified nation, and really about the rise of the Chinese national identity. A massive production with truly magnificent crowd scenes. Such a powerful film in spirit and message—showing that strength lies in unity, and that people should sacrifice themselves for the greater good of their nation!

That sense of common good is so rare in today's world of mindless egoism and greed.

It’s like South Park voices and ideas wrapped up in an innocent little puppet show boomerang.
😳

The swearing and those explicit sex scenes caught me off guard—especially with puppets!!
😲

So, the sex scenes are what grabbed your attention!😁 😛

Just typical stuff, right?👋

Chinese.😉

It's a great movie. Actually watched it again at home the other night.🙂

From now on, I won't be buying a movie until I cross-reference the DVD runtime with IMDb. 😠

It's a shame, really. Some of these film studios publishing DVD releases act like they own the rights to Big Brother! 😢

bluesailor8 said:It looks like I have both the single DVD version and the Special Edition on two discs in my collection. Maybe the SE version holds the actual original cut. I haven't borrowed it yet, so I can't say for sure.

I once held a version of the movie that had been "pre-made" somewhere out in the wild—sort of like a cheap, instant soup. They slap copyright warnings on it in dozens of different languages until you're practically losing your mind...😁 And honestly? It just makes you want to make a copy anyway... let them deal with it!😁 😉

But what they did to this cult classic actually made me, to put it mildly, FURIOUS! I felt like... a Chinese dragon when it loses its temper!😳

I just finished watching this martial arts legend on DVD, and honestly, I’m stunned—and not in a good way. I actually tossed the disc straight into the trash!

It’s like this: the absolute core scenes that hold the entire plot together have been CUT OUT!

It feels like someone is playing God, trying to "protect" our "fragile" minds from "violence." It makes no sense when you see how much unchecked violence is broadcast on American TV every single night. 😠

For instance, the scene where Lee kills O'Hara? That whole moment was completely removed. Same goes for when Tobo takes out those incompetent guards right in front of Han and the rest of the tournament crowd—the parts where he breaks their spines are just gone. I’m truly shocked. If a censor ever tried to pull this on me, they’d end up in the garbage along with this butchered DVD! 😁

By the way, has anyone else checked out this specific DVD release? It starts with previews in about fifteen different languages, which is enough to make your blood pressure spike like a volcanic eruption at Krakat! 😎

I know some people here collect DVDs, so I have to ask: have you encountered this counterfeit version? And what do you all think about this kind of cinematic Inquisition—where they try to THINK for us under the guise of doing it "for our own good"? 😠 ?????? 🙂
nimblemarlin17 said:Actually, DVD burners aren't that pricey anymore, but there's always a catch. They've released these newer DVD burners with built-in hard drives that cost more, but they're much better. Why would anyone bother with those cheap current DVD-R drives when it's obvious they have no staying power?

The hard drive option sounds like the smarter move. Probably best to just wait until the price drops. Though we aren't exactly known for our patience!🙂 😁
Syke said:You can find DVD burners on the market now, and they aren't even that pricey. For me, VHS is ancient history.

They won't be history for a long time yet!😁 🙂
Richard Hernandez13 said:Are you sure the new tech isn't promising that?

It does, but it’s just too slow. Like the old saying goes: a promise is just a tease for the impatient!😁

People are terrified of DVD burners and software... they fear it might actually disrupt the big corporations' business models.😕

urbanmoose3 said:www.buka.hr

After the initial warm reception to the phenomenon of Lee - Cuvaj, the first wave of critics has arrived. It isn't really an attack on the concept of the film series itself—everyone understands this is just harmless, unpretentious trash—but rather, the haters are targeting the crew and the audience, claiming they are essentially mocking someone with a disability. They argue everything was fine when Lee was just filming things solo or with friends, but now that more people have stepped in as producers, writers, and actors (like last year's "In the Clutches of a Metropolis" and now "Watch Out for the Sinj Hand"), it's suddenly "wrong" because, supposedly, "people are helping a fool act even more foolish." Still, anyone who has followed Lee’s rise and actually watched his work can see that these are just the bitter voices of Malice and fake moralism ™ that pop up so often in this land of tears. Lee - Cuvaj remains the boss and the star of his own circus; he's being underestimated by those who think he doesn't realize people are laughing at his naive, child-like sincerity. He's weighed the pros and cons and figured out what makes him happy. Maybe he isn't perfectly sane, but he wasn't born yesterday either. Growing up in a small town like Sinj, marked from birth as different and living through poverty, yet remaining positive, humble, and artistically inclined is a rare feat. This time, it's Lee—a man who Lars von Trier could (maybe should!?) make a musical about. A man who sticks to his principles, the Jesus of kung fu religion; he might not save us, but he shines like a flicker of true goodness that somehow survived, holding onto ideals many of us lost to conformity and resignation. We were all once Lee, but unlike him, we "grew up," changed, and became certain only when it comes to judging those who haven't. Now that Lee - Cuvaj has achieved his dreams, the question remains: who is actually the one with the handicap?

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

Just awful!

A complete disaster!

The comic was fine, but this? It’s nothing!👎

For today's audience, it isn't even funny—just a massive miss. Good grief, what a waste of time sitting through this junk at the theater!
