Jeff, it’s a remake. 😁
Man, I don't have my DVD handy right now, so I can't exactly rip a copy for you... 😢 A video rental store? 😁

Oh, the cruelty of a woman's heart... 😢

A woman's heart is only cruel when she doesn't love... and I love you. 😍
If you’re actually serious about this, just shoot me a DM... 😁
Keep looking, and you just might find what you're after... 🤣

No. ☕

Blade Runner
The Star Wars trilogy 😁
Galaxy Quest 🤣
Fahrenheit 451
The Fifth Element
Generally speaking, I’m not a fan of remakes, and most of them end up being total garbage compared to the originals, though there are a few exceptions here and there.
Take
Cape Fear although De Niro😁 didn't quite hit the same level as Robert Mitchum for me...

Honestly, there isn't much of a distinction here.
Whether you use a capital letter or not doesn't change much—either way, it’s clearly not something you’ve studied, and I doubt you’ll be picking up any deep theological texts on this forum anytime soon. 😉
And even if you were reading... well, I have no further comment on how much value that would actually bring. 😁
I know, I really do. This morning, my Osho Tarot spread showed placidhar7 as the description of my own role in the puzzle... 😈
Very afraid... 😈
🙂

Well, you certainly scare me! You'd probably try to teach me how to cook! 😱 🤣
And that is love... 😍

I've never denied that. 😍

Piggy said:I didn't say it wasn't enough... I mean, it says "always," but then there's those other parts where it only applies to specific situations... 😁

I tried calling, but man... I don't know what kind of hearing aids you're using or what's going on over there... 🤣

Yeah, but before you say that...
Just floating nebulas... nothing but vague, hazy nonsense designed to avoid anything concrete. It’s all just a way to dodge accountability, you know? No real substance, no way to actually pin anyone down or hold them responsible for what they do...

How can you possibly know that someone isn't at least holding themselves to some kind of standard... or even just trying to stay on track for their own sake?
If you don't know... though we both know you can't really know... 😉...and why on earth are you claiming that with such absolute certainty?
Even if someone has plenty of money to deposit into their own account, why do you have to be so condescending toward the people who are only looking out for themselves?...

It’s not just about hearing your voice, you know... it’s about actually seeing you, too. Even when you aren't really there... 🤣 )

So, why do you think just being bold isn't quite enough?

(I mean, you're the one who reached out to me, so don't go playing coy now. 😁)

swiftcobra15 said:Heh... it’s not quite that simple of a process, you know.😁

Honestly, it isn't even half as complicated as people make it out to be. You know the type—those folks who cling desperately to something, thinking everything will just collapse if they let go... instead of just learning how to stand on their own two feet or walk by themselves. 😉

swiftcobra15 said:The real kicker is... how can we actually know what the truth is? Or better yet, does anyone even truly possess it?
Unless we have a grip on it—or someone else does—we can't even begin to measure how far off we are from reality. Without that benchmark, everything just feels like an illusion...

I'm not saying that "the" absolute truth is specifically this or that. I’m just suggesting it's essentially out of our reach. To put it bluntly... it's just not there for us to grab.😉

I'm right there with you on the first part, but I don't see how you get to that second conclusion...😉

See, I actually do things the opposite way. If the lens shows me something that throws my perspective off, I just recalibrate my view based on a new little snapshot of the truth. 😁

I’m feeling pretty called out here... almost targeted... 🤔 🤣

Same here.
Like falling into this deep, dreamless void... 😉
Alright, just letting you know everything’s been squared away. 🙂

Kyle Garcia4 said:The truth is only valid if it functions within a state of equilibrium, which you can adjust simply by changing the angle from which you choose to view it.

Adjusting the truth? 🤔
Oh, I get it now! You just hop from one perspective to another until you stumble upon the version of the "truth" that feels most comfortable—the kind that doesn't challenge anything you already believe...😁
And then you just declare that to be the absolute truth? 😁
Give me a break...
Sure, go ahead, but what have you actually adjusted? The truth itself, or just your own lens? 😁
What the hell... in Philosophy ·
Not really, but since you’re asking... yeah, those things can be just as bad. ☕

You don't really get women, do you? 🤣
It’s not even about being heard... it’s more about HER getting to vent, so honestly, she doesn't care if there's nothing but empty air inside your head. 😛

I mean, I'm not quite sure what's bothering you about my theory... 😁
I completely agree—and I've said this a thousand times already—that there isn't just one truth out there, but rather as many truths as there are people... 😁
But if I follow that logic, if I just tell everyone they're right because they're coming from their own perspective, then what's the point of even having a conversation?
So, I guess I just have to be stubborn and play the opposition... 😁

Oh, come on! If I actually admit that he’s (even partially) right, I lose all my leverage in this argument... so instead, I’m just going to stick to my guns and try to convince him that his eyesight is clearly failing him. 🥳
