Honestly, that's just typical woman stuff... reading an April Fools' thread back in October and getting all worked up about it. 😁

As for me... there's no way I'm using him. 😉

Anyway, why are you making such a huge production out of dealing with that cat?
Next time, just trim his whiskers. It's quick, painless, and gets the job done. 😁

Which one? I don't even know if I should be sending it to you again... 🙂

I'm taking this post back! Honestly, you're being such a headache, and now you're actually going to type it out too! 🤣

ambermason16, which of the mods are you close with? Do you have any of their cell numbers?

Just send it over to the moderation inbox... there’s a message waiting for you there about how we can get this sorted out, so they can pass it along to you...

Just like you don't have any interest in it either... 😛
Right now, none of the automated emails the forum usually sends out are actually going through!

Please, PLEASE don't try changing your email addresses until this gets sorted out!
If you change your address now, it basically resets your registration status to incomplete, and since the activation links aren't sending, you'll be stuck in limbo...

And please don't keep asking me when everything will be back to normal. I honestly have no clue, but the tech team is already on it and I'm hoping they can get it fixed pretty quickly. 😉

Rebecca Sanders2, I added a little something to the title just so people stop starting a dozen different threads. There are still plenty of folks running into this and asking about it everywhere... 😉

Honestly, I’m feeling more of a drive to lead... to rule, if you will. Is there some kind of meditation for people like that? ☕

(I can't even remember the number, and honestly, I'm too lazy to type it all out... 😢 Is there a workaround for that too? 😁)

Honestly, the explanation was just useless. 🙄
You could have been a bit more specific about what you meant by "down there."
I finally figured out WHERE it’s actually pointing... 😁

IT DOESN'T SHOW UP!

All you get is "Edit/delete post" or "Include quoted post in reply."

Nope. Just like you don't have anything to prove it either... 😛

Honestly, I think I should probably congratulate you.
You basically just answered the ultimate philosophical question for me: "What is the meaning of life?" 👍

It’s actually pretty refreshing to see someone admit when they’re wrong. 😁

I’m not sure I can totally agree with that last part, though... I have my doubts about whether you really grasp what happened here, but hey, if you say so, who am I to argue... 😁

Skandalouz said:Spirituality is just an inherent quality of anything spiritual—it isn’t tied strictly to the material world. I honestly don't see what part of that is confusing. Spirituality is the core of who we are, and it grants us immortality. Happy now?

Immortality? Is that just wishful thinking, or do you actually have proof that this "spiritual" side—which, by the way, you still haven't really defined, since we all know it isn't made of matter 😁—actually survives once the physical stuff is gone?

Skandalouz said:And you're the one saying he needs to be burned at the stake, not me.

Oh, please... If nobody else is going to throw the first punch, then fine, I guess it's on me. 😁

Anyway, some guest mentioned that you'd be the one to explain what spirituality actually is. So... care to enlighten me? 🙂

I’ll get back to you on that right away, but first... I need to know what you mean when you say spirituality. 😁

Jonathan Brown6 said:There’s one more thing I’ll add to this...

I really feel like humans aren't all that different from animals. Every single move we make is driven by instinct; it's just that we have the ability to pull from a much larger pool of past experiences than an animal does. Every thought we think, every action we take, is basically just an instinctive reaction shaped by everything we've been through before. The only real difference is that our "database" is massive, allowing us to combine those inputs a bit more effectively...

Yeah, and?
Since we've already got that huge database of data to work with, why shouldn't we just have some fun with it? We might as well start rearranging it all like a set of LEGO bricks... 😁

Jonathan Brown6 said:And who exactly gave you the right to tell me my beliefs are wrong? They’re completely objective and have absolutely nothing to do with any kind of imposed dogma.

unknown! 🤣
God bless your logic! 🙂
Your "belief" is purely subjective... and besides, it doesn't even exist as a concept, it's just a basic chemical reaction 😛, plus it's YOUR specific chemical reaction, which isn't going to be identical to anyone else's since everyone's atoms react differently. 😁
I'm telling you once again, philosophy is just a waste of time because you can never actually reach whatever it is you're hoping to find.

Well, certainly not unlike your posts... 🤣

The Dude said:HOW am I supposed to escape this downward spiral of negativity? If I completely stop following movie news, how will I even know what's worth watching? Not to mention, I'll lose one of my favorite critics... 😢 Help me out here!

Hmm, I get where you're coming from in theory, but honestly? Not really. 😁
I actually love reading summaries about what a movie is about—and if it includes the full plot details, including the part where the butler turns out to be the killer, then even better. 😁
Then I decide it sounds interesting, head to the theater, and watch it as if I have absolutely no clue what's happening. 😂
I almost never find myself thinking, "Oh, okay, now this is going to happen," let alone judging a film based on the opinions of people who’ve already seen it and spoiled it for me. Knowing the plot doesn't ruin the experience for me at all, and there isn't any difference in how I watch whether I know the story or not... I just leave all my preconceptions outside the theater doors. 😁
I get totally lost in a movie, forget everything else around me, even if I already know the plot 😁 and just follow the action as it unfolds.
It's not like I trained myself to do this, either; it's just how my brain works...
Same thing goes for books. I'll read the ending first, then go back and take my time with everything that came before it. 🤣

Sophia Evans76 said:man, Takeshi Kaneshiro... 😍

Exactly. 😍
Even if the movie itself was a total disaster, I still would've sat through it just for the view. 😁
But honestly? Between you and me, the girl was absolutely stunning too (I can never remember her name for some reason...) and I found myself staring at her just as much as everyone else... 😁
House of Flying Daggers in Movies ·
I actually really enjoyed the movie, though there was one specific thing that bugged me... I'll hold off on mentioning it until you all get a chance to watch it so I don't ruin the experience for anyone. 😁

The plot was engaging, the cinematography was stunning, and the special effects were top-notch...
And honestly, it was nice to have a change of pace with such a handsome lead actor to look at. 😁
