It sounds like you might be going through a bit of a late identity crisis😁 🙂

Honestly, everything you just described is something my group of girlfriends and I went through back in high school—there were at least five of us, and some of us even carried it through college. We all spent so much time convinced we were total hypochondriacs, but looking back, I realize the root of it all was just pure anxiety stemming from so many different places. We were essentially putting this subconscious pressure on ourselves, which then manifested as physical symptoms. That stress can come from anything—worrying about passing an exam, keeping up with school, landing a job, or even just being anxious about the safety of our loved ones, among countless other things. Instead of actually tackling the source of our worries to find some peace of mind, we would just spiral into a state of panic without ever taking any real steps to change our perspective or solve the underlying issue...
The most important thing you can do is sit down and really identify what specifically is making you feel so on edge, and once you know that, you have to commit to addressing it. One thing that helped me tremendously, especially when dealing with that tightness in the chest, the tingling sensations, or those sudden hot flashes, was getting active. It doesn’t have to be intense training; it could be simple aerobics at home, light housework, hitting a local gym, or just a quick jog around town—anything, really. Physical activity is such a great way to divert your focus away from that constant loop of intrusive thoughts, and it helps you prove to yourself that your body is actually functioning perfectly fine. Trust me, it makes a world of difference, so please don't make excuses or tell yourself you can't do it; just go out there and DO IT. Start moving instead of just sitting there worrying and bouncing from one doctor's appointment to another. Since you've already been cleared by professionals and they told you you're healthy, you need to start believing them. It’s really up to you; if you managed to convince yourself that something was wrong, now you have to work on convincing yourself that nothing is. You truly are healthy, so try to figure out why you're putting yourself under this mental pressure that manifests as physical fear. Just hang in there, and seriously, let's get moving—start with some light exercise right away and try to overthink it a little less!🙂.. 🙂

If you stick with it for a month, you will definitely see a change in how you feel!...🙂
All things considered, I can't help but feel like everything there was just a bit too rigid, or perhaps they simply overlooked certain details, so... 😁

To put things in my own words based on what Jung suggested, I feel that once God starts making perfect sense to us, we've probably lost our way or settled into a belief system that's just too small, because God is inherently paradoxical... and if you look through the Bible, you'll see plenty of those contradictions.

Anyway, Dragonfly, it’s really good to see you posting again, even if you haven't had your morning coffee yet.🙂

Dragonfly said:It isn't within our power to truly know Him.

That is such a beautiful sentiment...

I find myself wondering rhetorically...

Doesn't the act of understanding ourselves and learning how to love actually mean we are getting to know Him? 🙂

If we follow Descartes' logic—that knowing oneself is the key to knowing the world—then knowing ourselves must lead us back to Him. 🙂

Perhaps our true limitations aren't actual boundaries, but just the mental walls we build when we convince ourselves that certain truths are out of our reach or impossible to grasp...

Don't you think?

It isn't strictly limited to sexual contact, though that is certainly how most people contract it, but you could also pick it up at public pools where there are large crowds...
There is actually a wealth of information available on sites like the CDC or similar health resources if you take a moment to look, and since we have had several community leaders start discussions on this topic before, it might be worth checking back through those threads...

Regarding the plot, I’ll admit it isn't perfectly seamless, but those little gaps are impossible to fill because they touch upon fundamental questions that have haunted our civilization since its very beginning.
The film focuses most heavily on the special effects, which have been polished to absolute perfection, and if anyone is looking for cheap, predictable little stories, they should probably just stick to reading some light romance novels.
For anyone who can't seem to appreciate or grasp the director's vision, perhaps finding some lighter reading would be more their speed.
PLEASE DON'T COMMENT ON THE MOVIE IF YOU HAVEN'T ACTUALLY WATCHED IT

If imagination really has no limits, then I suppose we couldn't say that in this third installment—it feels more like the imagination was actually quite constrained... a good portion of the movie feels reminiscent of Star Wars, while the other part just drags on from what we already saw in the first one, though I have to admit a few things really missed the mark this time around.

As for the whole debate about effort and appreciation, that seems like a completely different conversation that doesn't quite belong here, I think... so if you find the film to be pure madness, that's fine by me, even if I didn't enjoy it myself, especially since I thought the first two were actually quite good!!
I have to admit I wasn't exactly blown away, though I suppose I didn't go in with particularly high expectations... all things considered, I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5.
At certain points during the documentary, the struggle being portrayed felt a bit tedious and draining to sit through.
The site isn't half bad when it comes to reviews

I have less than three hours before the movie starts, and while I'm genuinely curious to see if it hits the mark, I suspect I'll enjoy it simply because I don't tend to dive too deeply into the weeds of nitpicking 🙂 ; I find myself getting worn out by all those tiny technicalities... right now, I'm much more interested in the overall atmosphere and pondering the philosophical undertones, plus, a little extra action never really hurt anyone 😁 , but we'll see, who knows?!

Hmm... yes.... do you think we might be hardwired to search far too intensely and stubbornly for our own reflection in others?

For instance, it might actually be possible to find packaged prosciutto without any preservatives at all!

It seems like most processed foods are packed with heavy-duty Emulsifiers, especially when you look at certain candies, cookies, or sweets... and one of the worst offenders, potentially linked to cancer, is ice cream, followed closely by vanilla pudding, whipped toppings, and various creams....
I try my best to avoid almost all of those products in about 99% of my diet, though I do occasionally indulge in something sweet containing an emulsifier, just enough that I hope my body can process it... or perhaps I am just telling myself that to feel better...

Also, have you ever heard the theory that white sugar is treated with a mixture containing crushed animal bones just to achieve that bright crystalline whiteness? Apparently, this is cited as a major contributor to diabetes... though I don't have any actual scientific evidence to back that up, but still...
I'm ready to give up in Spirituality ·
I have this growing feeling that all the experiences we gather throughout our lives eventually bloom into a sort of wisdom, allowing us to discern that delicate moment when it is time to let go and when it is time to dig in our heels, even when the odds seem completely stacked against us.

Deciding whether to persevere or walk away really boils down to a deep internal assessment of whether the goal we are chasing, or perhaps the virtue we are defending, is truly worth the sheer amount of energy and persistence we are pouring into it...

More often than not, life itself and the circumstances we find ourselves in will step in to either clarify that judgment for us or make it intentionally difficult, simply because there is a lesson to be learned—if nothing else, we learn how to weigh a situation properly, even if we stumble at first by being too stubborn when we should quit, or too quick to give up when we should have stayed the course...
and as someone once quite brilliantly put it—if I may paraphrase: the forces of stagnation in this modern age are just far too heavy and constantly pulling us downward...it takes constant, purposeful movement to stay above them...so you should do the same...just keep moving, and the motivation for the right cause will find its way to you exactly when it needs to.🙂

granitewalker21 said:The real question is: how do you find your way back into your body? And, if you’ve drifted away at all, do you actually understand why you left in the first place?

I tend to ground myself through my feet... there's something about the earth that helps pull me back down...

I suppose I drift away because I haven't quite learned how to stay centered, and my spirit tends to wander off ahead of me, leaving my physical self behind; eventually, the body just gets exhausted from constantly chasing after the spirit, and since, as you mentioned, a separation is essentially impossible, the spirit is forced to return home after its wandering to finally learn whatever lesson was being avoided. Sometimes that lesson is a bit more blunt—like the jarring impact of falling off a motorcycle onto the pavement, which feels like a stroke of bad luck or perhaps a strange kind of mercy—but ultimately, the body always serves as the vessel for returning.
I’ve been a donor for quite some time now....

I realize that for some people, the idea of organ donation feels a bit uncomfortable, but to me, it just seems like such a deeply human thing to do... I mean, what is all this physical matter really worth when the spirit is finally set free...

I remember back when I was just a kid in elementary school getting checked out for flat feet, and the very first thing the doctor asked me was if I had started my period yet... and since I had, he just told me there wasn't much else that could be done, because once that happens, you can't really fix your feet anymore through exercises or anything like that... so he just went ahead and prescribed some orthotics right then and there... and honestly, whether that was actually true or not, I haven't the slightest clue. 🙄 ..
Orthopedic supplies and equipment in Health ·
Ever since I started my period, my flat feet have been acting up so badly that I can't seem to straighten them out anymore... at least, that’s what the doctors tell me...

So, regarding those orthotics... I actually had them custom-ordered in Cleveland, where the doctor took my impressions and sent them off to the specialists. I'm fairly certain they have offices in Washington, D.C., too. I could try to look into it for you and see what I can find out, though it might take me five or six days to get back to you with an answer.

Honestly, if I weren't relying on those inserts, my legs would probably be feeling a whole lot better than they do right now.

I suppose it’s all just an illusion, isn't it? We really have to strive to rise above it, but until we do, I try to lessen my own heartache by feeling the pain of those around me🙂 and simply sending them love and light through my thoughts whenever I can.🙂

There is a lot of truth in that...

I suppose the real challenge now is learning how to truly accept people, embracing both their perceived flaws and their virtues as part of the whole.🙂
