If I recall correctly, it’s just the specific type of flour used to make the pasta—not necessarily whole wheat or anything. But honestly, you don't need to guess—every single box of pasta will tell you exactly what kind of flour was used.

Well, I didn't even get a chance to see the anesthesiologist because my water broke and I had to rush straight into an emergency C-section.
The end result? Turns out I’m allergic to the diphenhydramine they gave me right before the spinal shot. I broke out in a rash, and then I spent a few hours after the surgery basically suffering without any pain meds at all. 😲

Yeah. Honestly, it might not even be a period—could just be some other kind of bleeding. A friend of mine went through something almost identical when she ended up with a nasty infection down there.
Why don't you just go see a dermatologist? They’ll point you toward products that aren't loaded with harsh chemicals. I actually ended up with these nasty spots from using Nivea deodorant once—so I called my dermatologist and she suggested switching to Sebamed deodorant. It’s super gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I think I even saw an ad for their men's line in a magazine somewhere.
My little one is taking Ironclad liquid iron. It actually tastes like caramel, which isn't half bad 😁
Look, I dug up some more info for you:
"Iron—it’s what's inside hemoglobin, that protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen from your lungs to your tissues. It’s also a key part of myoglobin, the protein that pumps extra fuel to your muscles when you're working hard. You basically get iron in two ways through food. There's heme iron (bound to hemoglobin) found in red meat, chicken, seafood, and other animal products, and then there's non-heme iron (attached to free protein carriers) found in dark leafy greens, whole grains, walnuts, and other plant-based foods. Just a heads up—coffee, tea, soy, and even high amounts of calcium, zinc, or manganese can actually block iron absorption. If you're low on iron, your tissues don't get enough oxygen, which leads to anemia. Since iron is vital for a strong immune system, being deficient can definitely make you more prone to getting sick. Also, don't go playing doctor with supplements that only contain iron; you should only take them under medical supervision because too much iron is toxic. "
Richard Cruz said:Does anyone actually have anything useful to say about those two male OB-GYNs over at the Dugave community clinic?
My go-to socialized doctor is Dr. Marčeta at the Dugave clinic. For my pregnancy, though, I went private with Dr. Rušinović—honestly, he was great, so I’m sticking with him.
As for Marčeta, I can't stand him—he's rude, stingy with referrals and prescriptions, and frankly, I don't think he knows what he's doing half the time.🙄
I also tried seeing Dr. Snježana Škreblin Kučić privately once. I was pregnant at the time, and after her supposedly "gentle" exam, I ended up bleeding. Not exactly a glowing recommendation.👎 😠
I dealt with urticaria for the first time because of some pomegranate juice, and then the second time was thanks to Advil. I went in for testing and it turns out I'm allergic to Advil and some specific acid—honestly, I can't even pronounce it or remember the name 😁.
The absolute worst part was when those blisters started breaking out all over my head 😲.
Megan Morales5 said:I mean, if it actually got that moldy and stunk that bad after just a few days, I don't know...
It was only in the box for maybe three days—everything turned green and smelled absolutely revolting. I honestly can't remember the last time I dealt with something that stank so much. 😁 🙂
I can't even recall what it tasted like anymore, but man, that smell? That stays with you. 😁
So we picked up some Mavrović's bread, ate half, and then completely forgot about the rest—it just sat in the bread box for a few days. It grew so much mold that I actually gagged while trying to clean out the container. 😁
I’ve been rocking the same glasses since middle school. Back then, I was barely at a -0.5, but now—and I haven't actually seen an eye doctor in over a year—it’s probably closer to a -3.5 or -4. I really intended to go in for an exam this year to get some new frames, but my doctor told me to hold off because my prescription shifts quite a bit during pregnancy, so I just skipped it. I don't wear them all the time, either. It's mostly just when I'm on the computer, watching TV, or driving.
Man, I honestly wish I could just head over to my aunt’s place for a massage right now! I’ve been going to her for those famous anti-cellulite massages and lymphatic drainage treatments every single spring for a few years now. It’s such a killer way to relax—plus, after about 20 sessions, my legs and glutes look 👍
Great, maybe now I can finally get some peace of mind! You guys actually made my day.
Thor, don't even talk to me about having another kid! I barely made it through this one. Thank God I even walked out of that hospital alive! 😲
The conditions in our hospitals here are just a total disaster. As far as the doctors go (I gave birth at Mayo Clinic)—they were great. Really kind, super professional... though I definitely paid a massive premium to make sure everything went smoothly. But the nurses? Absolutely terrible. I guess I was foolish enough to expect some basic human decency, which is why I ended up so disappointed. It’s unbelievable—I literally BEG a nurse for help getting to the bathroom the day after my C-section, and she just rolls her eyes, gives me a hand only because she feels forced to, opens the door, and walks away. So there I am, sitting on the toilet for twenty minutes crying because I physically cannot stand up. 🙄 Or take this: an older nurse—someone you'd assume has decades of experience—misses my vein four separate times while trying to give me antibiotics. Then they bring the baby over four hours later, and I can't even hold him because both my arms are covered in bruises and puncture marks. 😢
I spent those eleven days in the hospital crying my eyes out. Honestly, the worst part wasn't even the physical pain; it was that crushing sense of helplessness—knowing that because of their mistakes and incompetence, I couldn't even hold my own baby properly. 👎
Now go ahead and cheer me up—tell me these headaches are gonna vanish any day now! 😁 I'd really appreciate not having to deal with this misery for the rest of my life.
