For those of you stuck using Chrome, this should do the trick. Just install the extension, refresh the page, and voilà—that absolute nonsense is finally gone. Make sure you hit "disagree" first, unless you actually want to give those idiots who designed this thing the satisfaction they're looking for.
Everything works perfectly fine on my end using Tapatalk, whether I'm accessing messages directly from the menu or jumping straight from someone's profile. I'm running an iPhone. Go check out the mobile technology section and find the relevant thread within the apps—depending on your OS—to ask your question there.
Drew Lewis2, consider it done. But honestly, how are we supposed to prevent this exact mess from happening again if someone else picks a username without those special characters? You might want to think about switching up your handle entirely—if you decide to go that route, just hit up the username change thread.
Yes, it happens from time to time when certain usernames look identical except for minor punctuation or accent differences, causing the spam filters to glitch out. That notification about the inbox being full was actually directed at the other user, not you. Reported, this is being handled.
Jenbela - your handle is fine. The issue is that we manually review every single registration, so there's occasionally a bit of a wait. That said, I’ll send an expedited request 😉
Why on earth does this break whenever both images are visible at once? It’s not an issue everywhere; certain subforums just don't allow direct image uploads. There aren't many of them, though, and even then, you're stuck just posting a link to the image.
Once a message is deleted, there's no bringing it back. Which means you can't even report it. At that point, the whole thing is a dead end and nothing can be done about it.
Look, when you copy a link from Postimages—just like Jessica Morris6 suggested—you simply need to click on the image icon within the forum's post menu. Just open up that little pop-up window, paste the link right in there, and hit OK.
Susan Martinez2, it appears you mistakenly used a URL tag instead of an IMG tag; I've gone ahead and selected the correct one, so now the image is actually visible.
