T. Rex? Brett Smiley? David Bowie? The Arrows? Sweet? Slade? New York Dolls? Jobriath? Sparks? Now *that* is real Glam Rock.
Look, Queen was basically the only band playing around with any kind of Glam vibe back in the old US territories. For what it's worth, I actually loved Queen back when Bebek was the frontman...😍
Anyway, yeah, T. Rex is probably the best Glam Rock band out there. As for Bowie... fine, if you really want to try and shove him into a specific genre or label.
Caught it at the AMC Theatres downtown; the place was only about half full.
The movie blew me away—it was phenomenal. The acting, the script, the tension... everything was spot on. The ending felt a little weak and left some loose ends, but honestly, it’s not even a big deal.
What kind of idiots are these? This isn't even a kid's movie. At least, I don't think it is. Just because it's an animation doesn't mean kids should be watching it.
I barely tolerated Bill Murray voicing Garfield, but hey, he's actually cool, funny, and a great actor, so whatever. In "Groundhog Day" he was so perfectly ironic that I could live with him doing Garfield.
But Philip Seymour Hoffman???!!!! 🙂
Seriously, what happened to the old standards... 🙄
I am definitely not watching this in American!
What can I even say? I'm just fed up with all this condescension and low-effort nonsense....
...just because it's a cartoon, it must be for children... yeah, sure, let's just use common sense here...🙄
Imagine having some random voiceover artist trying to sound deep while everyone else just mumbles through it.
I just listened to it, and I honestly can't wrap my head around that opera vocal thing. Or whatever you want to call it. Everything else seems okay, I guess.
It’ll be perfectly synced, and they’re using a voice actor who sounds just like a certain famous Hollywood legend...
...honestly, I’m losing my patience with this endless wave of comic book adaptations. They completely butchered Daredevil, they trashed Punisher, and now they’re moving on to Elektra (damn them! if they even get that right...😠 )...

milsim, if you’d actually run a poll—asking stuff like "Who's better: Baggio, Meazza, or that one guy who was Italy's top scorer at the '90 World Cup but I can't remember his name"—I might have actually figured out where you stand.😎
Paris is out there working on his archery, shooting at some straw target nailed to the wall. He’s absolutely nailing every single shot. Bull's-eye after bull's-eye.
HELEN: Wow, I didn't realize you were such a natural at this.
PARIS: Honestly, neither did I. i. Weird, right? Now I'm just craving some lembas.
It's sad. Though, honestly, I’m not even sure why we’re all supposed to be mourning him. When you really look at it, the guy had a pretty solid life: he became a massive star, was a total sex symbol back in the day, girls were obsessed with him, he had money... People love to complain about how much weight he put on toward the end, but hey, that’s just called *aging*. It happens to everyone.
I guess I feel bad for Marlon Brando because, deep down, I actually feel bad for myself. As you get older, you start seeing these icons as permanent fixtures of the world. Then one day you find out a piece of that world is just gone—poof!—and it makes you think about everything else that’s eventually going to change or disappear.
Ugh, rambling again.
well... pun or no pun, it's true...😁
And I can't exactly agree with the rest of your post either...
Look, I’ve seen this thing at least ten times now... that scene where Sylvester Stallone bursts into the apartment, and his sister is basically riding on Kurt Russell's back while *massaging* him...
