Gym vs. Makeup: What's your routine? in Health ·
Melissa Gonzalez21 said:Getting super bulky muscles isn't really my thing.

Women just can't get "jacked" like guys can—unless they're using steroids, but that's a whole different rabbit hole... It's mostly because we have way less testosterone (I think I read somewhere on an American fitness forum that it's about 10 times lower). I used to feel the exact same way before 😵, but then I actually did my homework, joined a local gym, and the trainer there walked me through everything and showed me the ropes... Now I'm hitting it about 3-4 times a week for an hour and a half, and honestly, it's such a better use of time than just rotting in front of the TV. Plus, when I hit the hay at night, I actually feel like I did something good for myself! And once spring hits and I start adding some running to the mix... 😁 So pumped...
Where is the cleanest tattoo shop in LA? in Health ·
How long does bio-tattooing actually last? And do people do them in actual Tattooed Los Angeles shops or more like at beauty salons...? Anyone have experience with this? I'm looking for those ones that only last a few weeks where they just apply color to the skin without using any needles...
Garden State in Movies ·
Anyone seen this movie yet? If you have, what's the verdict? I don't think it's even hit theaters here in the States yet, so maybe this is mostly for people living abroad or who caught it online or whatever...
Basically, everyone is raving about it, and it actually made the IMDb top 250 list! It stars Zach Braff (you know, Dr. John Dorian from Scrubs) and Natalie Portman.

P.S. Anyone know when it's finally hitting theaters in America?
Height/Weight ratio in Health ·
Is there some kind of formula to figure out body fat based on height and weight, or is it measured totally differently? And what should my number actually be?

Read the book before catching the movie, and honestly, it follows the plot pretty well. I usually find books beat out the movies, and sometimes a bad adaptation totally ruins the story for me, if you know what I mean 😁... This one is super deep though, really makes you think. Totally lost it during that chair scene at the end when everything goes south. Definitely check out 👍

They actually have soul...

Totally agree! Old-school Cinemas win every time. I’ve been to the Mall of America, Broadway, and even Regal Cinemas, but they just don't hit the same as the classics... too crowded and just way too much going on. Those older spots always feel so cozy and local. I used to love hanging out at Central Park, and this past Saturday I was at Europa—honestly, besides Chicago, that's my favorite spot in the whole city...👍 for those old-school Cinemas.

For real, that ending was a bit much, but overall? It’s a solid flick. I'm with you... Cassell and Reno were absolutely incredible!
Martin Short is gonna crush them all... Nuff said. 😁

Pretty solid flick, honestly one of my favorites... partly because of the subject matter, and partly just because I love American cinema.
Kill Bill Vol. 1 in Movies ·
Justin Patel said:ugh, that Scary Movie 3 trailer... reminds me of that one scene from the movie The Others... where the mom is looking for her kid, and there's someone under a sheet in the room, she pulls it back and it's Michael Jackson... that feels more like some creepy predator vibe, and he's just like... I didn't do anything... but she's just a little girl!!!

I totally lost it laughing at that... 😂 😂 Or like when Pamela Anderson gets that wedgie... omg, so hilarious... 😁 😁

And as for Kill Bill... 👍 😎
Partners and Soulmates in Lonely Hearts ·
Walter Brooks3... I went through something similar recently, and honestly? It was enough to make me realize I was wasting my energy on the wrong people while ignoring the ones who actually mattered. But hey... turning a new leaf... things are finally clicking... Slowly but surely. Guess that’s what they call growing up... 🙂

Why? in Lonely Hearts ·
Hopefully I’m not the only one feeling this way. You can do a thousand amazing things and nobody gives you props or even notices... but then you slip up just once? Suddenly everyone's got something to say about it.

What is actually wrong with people? Like, how can anyone get such a kick out of seeing someone else fail? It’s honestly mind-blowing. Maybe it’s time to find some new friends, because it totally sucks when you realize you didn't actually know them at all after getting so disappointed.

It's always the same story...
