Wes Anderson's latest flick is set on some tiny island out in New England back in 1965, and honestly, you could argue it veers a bit away from his usual visual vibe compared to everything else he's put out.

7.5/10

it's definitely a departure 😕 even my little 6-year-old caught onto it while watching—he realized pretty quickly it was the same director behind Fantastic Mister Fox 😍 ☕

Sure, being tech-illiterate and missing out on how content delivery is evolving is one thing—it’s basically just being stuck in the past—but there is a massive difference between that and stalking. And you, my dear William Green4, are doing exactly that!

You probably think that crew is all high and mighty, but honestly? 😁 I’m betting most of them—aside from kikin, because I still have zero clue how she even finds the energy for any of this 😕—could probably be enrolled in an "ugly people club" in real life 😁

Kate Jackson68 said:Look, being a forum moderator is really just about following the site rules.
Whether she keeps her dog on a leash or gets slapped with a fine by some local animal control officer is someone else's problem entirely—not ours.
Promoting an idea isn't breaking the law, and walking a dog off-leash might be a violation if the cops catch you, but that’s a matter for the authorities, not the admins or mods here at the forum. It has zero bearing on her actual job description.

Oh, wow, so by that logic, a murderer, a thief, or even a war criminal could be a forum moderator 😁 and go ahead and promote illegal activities. But hey, why should we care? That's a job for "other authorities," right? 😉

Anyway, what you wrote above doesn't actually line up with how the other subforums operate.
As far as I know, moderators over in the Tech subforums are strictly forbidden from linking to or suggesting illegal software. They also have to scrub posts from other users who try to drop those kinds of links. I'm pretty sure it's the same deal in the Movies and Music sections.

So, how is it that the mods in those sections don't have the exact same leeway as the mods over in 'Pets'? 😕

//Sophia Evans76... isn't it just pathetic that the crowd from 2003 still has to make cameos in the PZK newsletter? ☕

What’s even more depressing is that I’ve been hanging around this forum since 2000😁—and yet, here I am, still fighting the same old windmills. 😁

But honestly, the real tragedy is seeing some of these veteran users—take someone like zgsasha, for example—who haven't really accomplished much in the real world over the last decade or so😢 so they have to settle for being moderators here. I guess there's a certain utility in that virtual role; it provides a little illusion of power for people who clearly lack it in their actual lives. 🙂 😁😉

Where exactly am I being insulting or trolling??

My post got nuked just because I was responding to a moderator who’s calling me "intolerant" for pointing out that walking a dog without a leash is actually ILLEGAL!

So—she’s the one encouraging people to let their dogs roam free, making excuses about "unruly kids" and whatever else, acting like she’s some kind of moral authority based on a pet handbook... instead of actually promoting compliance with the law that requires leashes and picking up after pets—*she's* the one calling *me* intolerant. And she's calling everyone else here "intolerant" too—people who might be wary of unleashed dogs, whether they're "dangerous" breeds or not. Honestly, in my book, any off-leash dog is a risk because you can never truly know what's going through its head, no matter how well-trained it supposedly is—especially when we're talking about certain breeds. Interestingly, you didn't delete or ban her posts for that, did you? But you sure as hell wiped mine where I pointed out that owners letting their dogs run wild are the ones being UNTOLERANT toward small children, parents, and anyone else who might be nervous about a random animal charging at them!

Real objective move there. Bravo!

Anyway, just so we don't turn this whole thread into nothing but a rant about your disastrously arrogant moderation style, I’m actually interested in that question from the very first line. So, be a dear and let us actually discuss it.

As far as I know, under U.S. law, leashes are mandatory. If the moderator of this forum is preaching otherwise, then she’s basically advocating for breaking the law. I don't get how someone like that is even still a moderator.🤷

placidmarlin3, if I were you, I’d report her posts to the actual authorities.😉

Here’s the exact post you got flagged for trolling:

Since when do you have the right to delete my posts?
What?
Just because you can't be bothered to actually engage with someone more deeply, you decide to pull rank and strip away everyone else's rights just because you have a little bit of authority??
And YOU are going to lecture ME about tolerance?

Where's your tolerance for MY OPINION??
Where's your tolerance for PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT ANIMAL WELFARE?
Where's your respect for the laws of this country and the society we live in?

And this is a moderator!
Someone who is supposed to set an example for everyone else.
Shame on you!

Delete this too and I'm calling the admin to see what you're up to!

You got flagged for trolling on that one—though honestly, it could've been for harassment. If you're going to post nothing but hysterical whining instead of actual content, expect a warning.

Sorry, but I didn't see any insults in placidmarlin3's post, nor do I think she was trolling at all! 😕 She was just politely asking for some clarification, and you jumped down her throat like some power-tripping deputy! 🙄

God, look what this forum has turned into with mods like this. 👎 It's a total disaster. 🙄

It's pretty obvious that you moderators are just miserable, pathetic losers in real life—because there's clearly no other reason why an adult would spend their free time playing hall monitor in a virtual space for free, unless it's for a cheap dose of a power trip.
I found myself back at that same scene last night—for the third time now—staring at that little bag 🙂 and honestly, I have to ask: what is this Mendes guy even playing at?

Laura Walker6 said:Look, you guys basically built HIV under a microscope in the first place. You cooked it up in some lab, and now you’re trying to play God by making a "cure" for your own creation...😬
Meanwhile, Michio Kushi used macrobiotics to treat people with HIV. And honestly? Most of them were doing just fine—most are still walking around today. Well, except for those two folks who went on vacation, indulged in some ice cream and tropical fruit, and kicked the bucket two days later. It’s not that his methods failed; he boosted their immune systems so much that even with HIV in their system, they felt, looked, and functioned like perfectly healthy people!!

Then there was that president of an African nation—I can't remember which one, maybe somewhere near Kenya🤔—who was treating HIV patients too. He had this whole "magic trick" version of treatment going on...😬 and apparently, those patients swear he actually cured them...🤣

Jamie Rivera78 said:6. A study just dropped in The Lancet, and the data is pretty clear: the tuberculosis vaccine basically offers ZERO protection. Honestly, the infection rates among those who were vaccinated are actually HIGHER than those who weren't. And mind you—this is the ONLY published trial of this vaccine conducted under strict, standard regulatory protocols. The only one.

Man, you really went off the deep end there. Look, it's true that the BCG shot doesn't really do much for adults fighting TB, but when it comes to infants? It’s still incredibly effective at preventing things like TB meningitis and miliary tuberculosis... which, you know, is actually something worth noting...

It's the same deal with those hardcore activists over in California... nobody there vaccinates their kids either... 🙄

Well, yeah, she’s definitely that type—polite and sweet... but if you actually have a real issue, she won't even recognize what's wrong with you. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone, honestly. Because of her, I've been stuck in bed for a month and a half now...

Look, while all these stories about infant mortality are absolutely gut-wrenching—and they are—there are undoubtedly hundreds of babies out there who are perfectly healthy and thriving. I’m not trying to excuse anyone's mistakes here, but people mess up sometimes—it's just that when they do, the consequences are obviously devastating.

Honestly, I don't even know how to process all this. It feels a bit ridiculous how someone can be doing everything right, and then one sensationalist headline in a tabloid ruins everything.

And now I've completely lost my train of thought—what was I even trying to say?

Well, I spent two weeks in the hospital because of Dr. Miller... so I'm not exactly talking about some clickbait headlines in a newspaper. I'm speaking from actual experience...

mistyhound2 said:That woman actually went to college with me—she was a stellar student, really diligent, top of her class if I recall correctly. While the rest of us were sleeping in, 😁, she was actually sitting through lectures. She wasn't one to cut corners, so I truly believe she handles her business professionally. Plus, she’s always been incredibly reserved and calm—that’s just who she is. As for these American media outlets? They just circle like vultures waiting to tear someone apart. It’s a pathetic excuse for "journalism."🙂

Maybe I should have spent more time speculating about all the hearsay floating around the news and this forum... but honestly, just ten days after my check-up with her, I ended up in the hospital due to some bleeding. I was stuck there for five days. Now, I’m on mandatory bed rest for the entire pregnancy. My husband is already getting the lawsuit paperwork ready.

She clearly has no clue what she’s doing. She couldn't recognize potential complications if they hit her in the face. I’d suggest everyone avoid her at all costs.

A friend of mine—the one who recommended her in the first place—called me while I was laying in the hospital bed, and she told me I absolutely had grounds for a suit. This doctor had the worst possible Pap smear results, and the idiot didn't even bother to call her to schedule an urgent follow-up. My friend was away on vacation and hadn't checked the results immediately; when she finally did, the nurse was shocked that the doctor hadn't called her right away given how serious those results were.

Maybe she’s lost her focus because of this looming lawsuit, but if that's the case, she shouldn't be practicing medicine at all.

Ronald Hernandez15 said:I honestly wish I could take back what I said before—specifically about Dr. Maja G. over at the Harni Clinic, whom I actually praised in an earlier post. Look, she’s fine if you’re perfectly healthy and just need a routine physical once a year to check a box. But if you have even minor complications, or frankly, if you feel like your life is actually on the line? Run. Just run. My urine test showed some things that aren't exactly "nothing," yet my regular GP can't believe they were missed. $200For the amount they charge for a consultation, she won't even pick up the phone to explain what's happening. She just leaves prescriptions for serious medications sitting at the front desk with a nurse who seems more interested in being polite than being helpful, and then the nurse suggests you "just take everything nicely" and wait six weeks for another appointment before you can actually talk to the doctor.😕 Honestly, she should probably look into a career in veterinary medicine—it clearly takes too much effort for her to explain things to humans, so maybe animals would be more her speed.
Bottom line: I am officially done with Harni.😠 😠 😠

I saw her last week and she was super sweet, though maybe a little... off? A bit dull, I guess. But after reading this 😲 I'm starting to second-guess everything... 😢
