Despite your explanation, some things still don't quite add up. Let’s be honest... the video rental shop was run by amateurs. Their inventory was thin—especially compared to, uh, *cough*, the other competitors—and the actual quality of the footage was pathetic. But here's the kicker: they were basically being shielded by the police. Specifically, the crew from the Netherlands. That explains why they were constantly getting shut down and reopened... and why they acted so incredibly arrogant about it. They even taped a newspaper clipping right above the counter, sitting right next to a police calendar featuring greetings from that aforementioned precinct. 🙄

A solid fairy tale. Honestly, knowing it actually follows the comic book pretty closely makes it even better...

The only thing is, the ending was a bit mindless... all they needed was for a zombie hand belonging to Sean Connery to pop out of the grave...

A perfect blend of sharp humor and high-octane action.

They actually delivered a worthy sequel here. (And yes, it’s better than the first one).
Some of the dialogue and scenarios push things to the absolute edge... like that kid popping two ecstasy pills right before his meeting with the boss... the bodies piling up in the streets...or that bit about impotence in front of a crowd at a convenience store...it’s all pretty wild. You can tell the guys are keeping up with current trends 😁.

Bottom line: a very pleasant surprise overall.
If you're looking for a solid new action comedy, this is it.

...not counting the opening act "Corto" ( I think that's the name... some tall, cute blond guy... he was good... at least to me )

...all in all, it was meh... they wrapped up in an hour and twenty minutes... then packed up and made that grand ( read: cliché) exit... stayed five more minutes and left with pockets full of cash... pockets full of cash because there was a massive crowd despite the outrageously high ticket price... which they didn't justify by a long shot... I feel... robbed.

( let's call it a mini-concert... it was great... strangely enough, Massimo was the best😁 )

Those lowlifes and little trolls think they can organize a concert using someone else's name, yet the whole damn crew on stage can't even manage a set longer than ninety minutes...
