northerncrane4, chill out with the girl. ☕

Chloe Morris12, your question is totally fine... 😘

Jose Miller17 said:🤣 🤣 I mean, I think he is...
He even has his own website... once you actually click on it, you realize just how much of a legend he really is... www.jackmcwriter.net 😁😁

Doesn't work... 😢
I even tried refreshing the page twice... nothing.

😂 😂 😂

quietdriver3 said:you’re being too vague... I’m more curious about how many were actually based on picture books😲 😲 ??

😂 😂did I take too much Advil or are you just being extra hilarious today?

Jose Miller17 said:what do you mean by light drugs? 😁😁

Seriously though—where is this world even headed?... 😬

Jose Miller17 said:man, stop stalling and just tell her the name of that guy who writes movies... 😁😁😁

Ever tried mixing hard drugs with hormone therapy? Huh? 😁 😁

If you have, then you don't get a say here, buddy... 🙂

Chloe Morris12, what did you grab today? 😁 Honestly, I'm tempted too...

For those who don't know, she lives in New York City.

Jose Miller17 said:🤣 Guess I'm the only one who hasn't seen The Transporter.
And honestly... looks like I'm gonna skip it too 😁😁

A guy uses a serving tray to deflect a rocket or a grenade... what even is that? 🤔
How can you not watch that? 😁 How many movies have you seen with a scene like that? Be real.

casualotter21 said:You know, watching movies like this just makes me feel old. There’s basically no reason why I shouldn't like it—nice cars, hot girls, cool guns... It's all there. But the movie itself feels kind of *mid*. I mean, I love all that stuff, but interesting characters and a smart script are never a bad thing, even in action flicks. I guess that's why people still rewatch Die Hard or Lethal Weapon while totally forgetting those whole waves of B-action movies from the 80s and 90s.

I watched The Transporter once and honestly... I don't remember much about it. Just some car chases and a guy acting all tough until someone shows up with a bazooka and 🙂 🙂

Hmm, you might be onto something there. 👍
Average girls, an above-average guy (Jason Statham 🙂)... looks like they actually made a solid action flick for the ladies. 🤣

Jose Miller17 said:so what's the last Carpenter flick you actually liked? :-)

I guess... feel good movie would be Vampires 🤣
...

crimsonmoose3 said:Paul Verhoeven😲 😲 The Invisible Man🙄

But that flick was trash...

Carpenter is king!!!!👍
I don't even know what you guys want from him...

Keith Jones19 said:I'm guessing you haven't seen Robert De Niro playing that shady character in Angel Heart...

🙏

Al Pacino 🤣

gentlejackal16 said:Anyone else catch this yet?

The plot feels a bit all over the place—kind of confusing...

😕

Well, if you think this is messy, don't ever try watching Sunset Boulevard. 😁

Keith Jones19 said:hmm... I wonder if the reasoning covers 'Serpico' and 'Dog Day Afternoon'?
😛

Al Pacino or Robert De Niro, that really IS the question...

What kind of rules even exist without exceptions? 😉
(With Al Pacino, you've got Scarface and Serpico).

Younger Robert De Niro, older Al Pacino.

I'll explain my reasoning later... 😁

here

Did it really hit you that hard?

The absolute highlight was definitely Adrien Brody, 😍 though the plot felt—at least to me—a little predictable... 😁

P.S. I actually asked a psychologist in my family if it’s even possible for people in care facilities to treat patients that way today, and she just said: "That's pure sci-fi (at least in the US). That didn't even happen back in the Freudian era." 😁
I think she mentioned the 1970s being this massive turning point for ethical mental health treatment.

horror.blog.hr said:I think the hottest part is definitely Wild Things—Dillon, Campbell, and Richards... 😉

Dillon has always been my type. 😍
Never actually seen Wild Things though...

Noah Gonzalez7 said:I've always loved the Gene Wilder version—it’s hard to beat... especially since I'm just not feeling the Depp vibe at all...

Not that it's popular to say, but I'm not exactly a huge fan of Depp either—he’s got a bit of an unpleasant look about him, honestly—but as far as acting goes, he's actually pretty decent... 🙂

I didn't mind him in Chocolat, the Man Who Cried, or Blow...
He was actually pretty good in Once Upon a Time in Mexico / Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas...

Jose Miller17 said:It’s not like I want to spend all day praising you, but how... just how?? lol 🤣

Just noticed someone else had the exact same idea earlier. 😢
Jose Miller17, you should've known I was aiming to be Tyler Durden—you should've just signed me up. I'm only a few hours late, and honestly, not even my fault... 😢

Next time you see a thread like this and I'm not around, just go ahead and write Sandra King86 — Tyler Durden. 😁

Tyler Durden 😍
