Works fine with a VPN and a US address. I even asked if I’d get in trouble for connecting from the European Union using a VPN, since I was dying to try it out.
He told me it's all good, the VPN is legit. Honestly, it's way faster than ChatGPT—responses are lightning quick. I mostly use it to help with coding; since it has access to live data, its answers feel much more current.
It is a little cocky, though. I asked, "Are you sure about this solution?" AS IF I DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW! 😁
Melissa Peterson19 said:In the USA, elections are won by whoever is the bigger populist—essentially, whoever lies more effectively. We've seen it all, from Harmon's "get rich" rhetoric and Sanders's "we won't let the generals go" to Karamarko's patriotic digging in the dirt over in Kustošija.
And what about Zoko as Prime Minister? Look at the record: legalization, tax enforcement, pre-bankruptcy issues, flooding in Gunj, the migrant crisis, cutting congressional pensions, slashing politician salaries... You won't find anyone better in history.
That whole mess with canceling those Swiss franc loans was handled poorly... but hey, at least it gave some desperate people a glimmer of hope. 👍
Finally banned! THE PEOPLE ARE REJOICING! THE TYRANTS ARE FALLING! 🤣🙏🙏🙏
I enjoy reading through military history and technology threads—it’s fine when people get nerdy about specifics—but this is just getting ridiculous.
I'd like to suggest to lonetrucker4 that if anyone ever drops the word "PIKZIBNER" in a thread on the history section, they should get a permanent ban. Hopefully, you guys will take this suggestion to heart.

Knee acting up? Swelling, clicking, can't even walk? Doctors checked you out and told you it's cartilage damage? Well, they just pulled off a high-tech procedure at Osijek University Hospital to reconstruct cartilage using the patient's own fat cells. They basically rebuild the cartilage using stem cells harvested from your own fat.
This kind of cutting-edge surgery is usually insanely expensive, but at Osijek University Hospital, it'll be totally free. All you need is a referral and a little extra fat around the waist.
Can people from other parts of the US sign up for this? Got a contact number? I want to get my dad in for this—he’s got osteoarthritis and refuses to go under the knife for another hip replacement.
You could always just call yourself a hobbyist "Storm chaser!" 😁
@granitetiger16/">@@granitetiger16 I checked out those links you sent, but honestly, Adafruit and those e-workshops are pretty pricey compared to what you're finding. Thanks anyway!
Chris Hall3 said:That’s exactly my theory. I taught myself everything from Windows 95 all the way to Windows 10 (I'm an analog electronics guy at heart—built over 100 audio amps and dozens of other projects—and used to work professionally repairing accounting computers). What trips me up are these weird American translations of technical terms. It’s almost funny; even basic steps for getting started with Arduino are a mess. For example, the Merlin system: 1. Download the Arduino development environment 2. Connect the Arduino to your computer via USB and install the drivers 3. Launch the Arduino app and open the "Blink" example 4. Select your board (UNO, Mega, etc.) and the serial port it's connected to 5. Upload your first sketch Everyone else seems to get it: what exactly *is* an Arduino development environment? So I end up stalling, trying to translate things back into English using Google and stuff. That’s my struggle, not the processor or the peripherals—I get those fine. Regarding the XY plotter and 3D stuff, learning this via Arduino = UNO would be great. Thanks for the help
Heh, this is peak hair-splitting. Total overkill. There's actually a great old saying for this kind of nonsense: "Like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic."
Look, this is the IT subforum. If you want to argue about semantics, head up to the linguistic subforum and go nuts there. Just please don't do it here.
English is the lingua franca of IT. My advice? Stick to it instead of using these clunky Americanized butchered versions. If you don't know it, just learn it.
You've got awesome hardware, and instead of testing it or playing around, you're stressing over the word "Upload"?! 👎

The goal is to feed all this data into a big-data platform for analysis.
granitetiger16 said:Just wait and see what this thing can actually do. Picked up an ESP8266 module for like $1.50. Total steal. It's got IEEE 802.11. With the WiFi interface and the TCP/IP stack, you just slap on a battery and suddenly you're communicating over the local network or the web. Honestly, this dev board is way more practical. Here.Basically, you can just grab a finished device using that same chip and just reprogram it. hereI just use it to run stuff around my house.IR Like, say, with the AC or some I2C sensors. Humidity, temp, pressure.I'm running it. Got some 100W LEDs. Using PWM modulation via... PCA9685 I'm here. Ready to roll. IRLZ44NI usually just upgrade the module to... Got 4MB of flash to work with.I'm using it. Just messing around with the TTP223 today. Capacitive touch sensors, $1.20 for a pack of 10. Data readout on the... Like this. OLED screen. Got a few more ideas I haven't quite gotten around to yet: Using the PCF8574 for window and door status, plus an A4988, A3967, and TB6612FNG to handle the stepper motors. I've also got a DS18B20 temperature sensor, the MCP4725 and AD7705 for A/D and D/A, an INA219 current sensor, and an RCWL-0516 microwave motion detector on an 8-channel setup. Solid state relay module. Only eleven bucks. LoRa. Battery-powered wireless sensor module. WS2812B Individually addressable RGB LEDs.
Slow down there. That module of yours is pretty hostile to any kind of experimental setup. You need a specific cable just to get going, which makes it a total headache for beginners.
I've got that chip on my Adafruit board, which comes packed with everything you mentioned. It’s actually pretty beastly. I'm running MicroPython on this thing, but you can always just use the Arduino IDE if that's more your speed.
That's gonna murder the battery life. Wi-Fi is such a power hog.
Hey, I dealt with plantar fasciitis using shockwave therapy. Since things were pretty inflamed, the treatment was brutal... but after six months, I’m finally seeing some progress.
A friend of mine tried UV therapy and felt better after a few months too.
So yeah, take it slow. It doesn't happen overnight.
I was kicked out of my hometown by some local thugs who burned down my family home, so if you're counting bloodlines, trust me—I'm as American as they come.
Honestly, I’m pretty insulted and blindsided by this; people are making it look like I should hate anything related to this country, which is just ridiculous.
This whole thread is a mess and totally unmoderated. Like goldenpanther7 said, we all know what's happening in real life, and this topic is becoming a total joke.
The way people are talking here isn't some weird dialect; we're just riffing off those comic book characters from Dubravko Mataković.
Killer show, though. Setlist was spot on, playing was tight. That finale was straight-up legendary.
You nailed it. Legendary is the right word. It felt like... 😲
Anyway, watching the band, I realized Kjartan—that guy with the beard—was missing. Looks like they swapped him out for two blue-haired hipsters. Guess the guy just got tired of life on the road. He's usually a pretty chill dude.
@Nicole Nelson772 I just want her to scream and actually dance at the festival for once, damn it. 😁
Complaints: -The wait for the set to actually start was ridiculous. The prep work was a complete mess. 👎 -The crowd was dead. My buddies went to grab a beer and I just sat there, but nobody would move an inch to let them back in. Plus, people were being loud and obnoxious in English (and the folks from Canada) 👎
It was fine by me, honestly. I'm just a regular dude, so I don't really get all the hype they're talking about. 😁
I actually saw them live at that one club in Chicago near the old warehouse district—Chris was even breaking down the backstory behind every single track. 🙏
