I'm not entirely sure if you were actually going faster... I've spent some time on the Bavarian 38, 42, and 44 models, and if I had to guess, the 42 seems to have the most speed...

With a light Mistral breeze, we were hitting about 8 knots... which I suppose is pretty decent.
But honestly, those Bavarian boats are incredibly spacious inside (at least the 42 and 44 versions).

I’m planning to head out on the water a few more times this summer. I haven't quite realized just how much I love Sailing... it's incredible.

What kind of boats were you on? I'm curious about the length, the number of cabins... the overall comfort...

Just finished some sailing training... heading back out next week on a Bavaria 44.

Is there anyone else here who sails or has done some training? I'd love to compare notes and swap stories—there's a lot I'm curious about...

Does anyone happen to know if there's an online version available? Maybe something in PDF format?

I mean, I guess it might be easier to just send a DM... right? 😉
Haha... I haven't actually tried it yet, but I suppose I could 🙂

That's true... the other woman in the movie might actually be the standout... I guess Monica didn't quite shine as much as she could have.

The movie is incredible!! 🙂

I'll check out that other one.... thanks.

Last night I finally sat down and watched the movie...
It was truly phenomenal... maybe I was just being a bit too emotional while watching it, but aside from her role in Small, this is easily one of Monica Bellucci's best performances in my eyes.
I've probably seen about 50 French films by now, but this one definitely left a lasting impression on me.

The plot is so original, the pacing is tight and dynamic, the characters... honestly, everything is great, and even the soundtrack is pretty solid!

I'm genuinely thrilled with this film—so many twists, such incredible acting...
A total ten out of ten.
Let me clear things up and give you my honest, firsthand take on this product. 🙂

So, I usually get my gear ordered through Amazon, and this little gadget ended up being a bit of a random bonus in my package.

Now, look, I hit the gym every single day, so I tend to agree with what > was saying earlier. 😉

Anyway, naturally, I strapped the battery on right over my gorgeous abs 😁—which, by the way, are currently covered by a lovely layer of gut fat 🙂 🙂
and turned it up... all the way to the "Iron Man" setting (since that’s supposed to be the strongest)... when suddenly...
when suddenly... 😁

Man... it just absolutely rips through your muscles; it's insane. I was blown away within the first three seconds.
The contractions are truly phenomenal, and honestly, the sensation is incredible.

But I wasn't entirely convinced, so I decided to run a little experiment...

The next day, I did my usual set of crunches, and after a certain number of reps, I felt that same tension and sensation I've had before.

Then, the following day, I took this little thing 🙂 and set it to "Iron Man"... and I have to tell you... the feeling is identical.

There's definitely some kind of trickery going on here...

Still, I think I'll stick to my classic workout routine.

Anyway, that's about it. 🙂
Hey Amy Turner10... I think you're acting like a total terrorist 🙂 so maybe I should introduce you to my buddy Rewenger4u 😉

I’m strongly against this, because I think it’s just going to cause nothing but trouble.
I don't think this forum is the right place for it... besides, there are plenty of other spaces where we can discuss these same issues.

There are actually quite a few threads about paintball on other pages of this forum... so you might want to go take a look there.

That’s how it should be "handled," I suppose 😁 lol...

Honestly, I think a redirection would be a decent solution, but I doubt that'll ever happen... for certain reasons 😉

Immunotherapy
I’ve been through this myself—once a week for two years—and I’m finally cured.
Basically, they give you a tiny injection in the shoulder containing the specific allergen you're reacting to, which essentially triggers a controlled shock to your system.
By repeating this process over and over, your body eventually learns how to fight back against the allergen and builds up a lasting resistance. It’s a long haul, and honestly, pretty exhausting, but I think it's totally worth it.

Betty Rivera14 said:Everyone has tonsils, they just don't cause issues for everyone.

My Junior suffered from spasmodic bronchitis, and since they couldn't find a clear cause, they actually suggested surgery to remove his tonsils. I did quite a bit of reading on the subject, talked it over with our pediatrician, and ultimately decided against the operation. I figured that after age six, those tonsils usually shrink anyway and stop causing trouble.

As for me, I was being diagnosed with all sorts of chronic bronchitis throughout my childhood. It turns out everything was blamed on an allergy that nobody ever actually tested me for! That lack of answers really took a toll on my respiratory system and weakened my immunity over time.

If you don't mind sharing, could you tell me how you managed to recover?

My son deals with allergies to three different types of household dust and mites.
I’ve read quite a bit about these mites—where they hide, what they feed on (human skin, hair, sweat... yuck, they look absolutely terrifying under a microscope).
Basically, I stripped all the carpets out of the house, got rid of the heavy curtains, and switched him to anti-allergy bedding. He's breathing much better now.
However, doctors here (I'm currently in Germany) told me his adenoids are swelling up because of the allergies, and they suggested it might be best to just have them removed.
The surgery is already scheduled, but I can't help wondering: will the allergies ever actually go away completely?

It would be wonderful if you lived near the Coast... though I know that isn't exactly a simple solution. I truly believe specific immunotherapy combined with Claritin is the BEST way to handle this... for sure!

Sean Lee9 said:Hey EJ Star, how on earth did you manage to kick your allergies for good??
I mean, I've dealt with this since I was a kid. Every time I spend time outdoors, the sneezing starts, my nose runs, my eyes water... it's constant.
I take things like Claritin and even Gnosiol, but honestly, it feels like nothing lasts.

I stay active too—I swim quite a bit—and being in the ocean really helps me feel better.
The doctors I've seen have told me it’s just a chronic thing and there isn't some permanent cure out there.
It's just something you manage with meds every now and then.

So, I'm curious, what kind of methods did you use to finally beat this annoying "condition"...

Claritin is definitely the gold standard... especially since it doesn't make you drowsy and has the fewest side effects.
For me, it was mostly dust mites and that specific pollen you don't really get down at the Coast... so, I guess if I had moved to the coast, I might never have had issues.
I actually cleared it up between the ages of 18 and 20 through allergy shots—specifically immunotherapy (I might not have the exact term right)—where they'd give me a shot in the shoulder once a week, and that was it. It worked incredibly well for me. But I think it's really important to do it as early as possible.
I don't have allergies anymore...

It’s actually quite possible if someone isn't seeking treatment... especially when dealing with respiratory allergies... though, I guess it's mostly just down to early onset age.
General discussion on allergies in Health ·
Do any of you deal with allergies? Or are you one of those lucky people who isn't sensitive to anything at all?
I think it would be really helpful if we could share some real-world experiences regarding our occasional or even daily struggles with allergies.

I used to be allergic to dust mites, but I managed to get over it. Well, almost completely, anyway.
It honestly caused me massive issues, and there were times when it felt like a genuine handicap in my daily life.
I’m just so grateful today that I was able to sort it out, and I guess staying active with sports played a huge part in helping me recover.
