Not wanting kids: Is it just me? in Psychology ·
I’ve actually got one just like that. Mine’s been around for ages.
Don't even sweat it.
And yeah, totally agree—don't force it. Honestly, it's way better to stay childless if that's not what you want than to completely wreck a kid's life by forcing them into existence (and I'm not talking about you specifically, just speaking generally here) just because society expects you to have kids. 😉 It’s something Tina Turner once said about herself.
Just live your life. There is absolutely no reason why everyone needs to have kids. If you guys are happy and loving your life, then that's all that matters. 🙂

Like Tina Turner once said—
Look, if I can give you a heads-up, ovulation can happen anywhere from 19 to 7 days before your next period hits. That’s the baseline.
Regarding testing, if you're in New York City, anyone who needs to can just head over to a Mayo Clinic facility with a referral—it'll cost you maybe $3 or $4 out of pocket, and you get results the same day. You can probably skip the referral and just walk in, but I'm guessing it'll be way more expensive, like 🤷

Sending good vibes to everyone hoping for a positive result—and for those of you trying to avoid them, stay extremely careful, for the sake of everyone who isn't looking for a little surprise right now 🙂
Joseph Vaughn90 said:Arthur Ramirez4, look, not every single menstrual cycle actually involves ovulation.

Exactly.
Even my husband told me that only 4 out of 6 were actually ovulatory cycles. So...

And yeah, I’m gonna say it again—elevating our legs helped us a ton because everything would usually just leak out.
People claim it doesn't make a difference, but when I kept them up for 20 minutes, nothing leaked, so clearly 👍

It'll be 😁
Even my little guy agrees and can't wait to hang out with everyone 😍

just one thing...

there's always going to be a little guy or girl left behind if you just toss them aside and say "never again"!!!!

Heart issues and pregnancy: any advice? in Health ·
I had absolutely no clue, Amazon.
Seriously, I don't know anyone dealing with something like this. Have you tried asking any other doctors yet? Honestly, it’d be way better for you to actually understand what’s going on and how to handle it before things go south—instead of just sitting there panicking once the results come back (kind of like Scarlett O'Hara—"I'll think about that tomorrow" 🙄 ).
That’s basically how I see it too 🤔

I picked up the Micro version before and it was roughly $30—so maybe the Daft Punk set would run me about $50??

Does anyone actually have the inside scoop on this??
Where'd you pick that up, if you can even remember?
Charles Hernandez12 said:I opted for the Daft Punk kit (it comes with two tests) and took it the very first day my period was late. It turned positive within seconds—no waiting around for minutes at all—and I didn't even bother using my first morning sample. I’ll definitely be using them again because they are quick, incredibly straightforward, and budget-friendly.

So how much does the Google duo go for??

I'm heading out to grab some today, and I was originally thinking about just getting the Micro version, but if there's a duo option that won't totally wreck my bank account, hmm... 🤔

🙂

Huge congrats, rustyorca15!!!! 😁😁😁 🙂

I know Dr. Eljuga works over at the main hospital and runs a private practice too.
Anyway, go ahead and enjoy yourself—hopefully I’ll be joining you guys sometime soon! 😉
I already posted this in another thread, but I wanted to drop it here too just to set the record straight—that whole mess I was dealing with two pages back? It wasn't a pregnancy at all. It was actually a massive ovarian inflammation instead. Honestly, I’d take the first option any day, but... well, you know how it goes.

But man, I've seen it all working in that hospital—everything from botched abortions and miscarriages to ectopic pregnancies... I'm praying to God that everyone here gets a happy, healthy pregnancy right when they're ready for it (whenever that may be). 🙂 😉
Man, it would be 😍 😍
MM is already freaking out. Every single time it crosses their mind, you can see that stupid little grin plastered on their face—honestly, they look like a damn kid 😁

Actually, we even had a little bet going—if it happens, I win a new iPhone (though honestly, the odds are pretty slim), and if it happens but I don't get the phone 🤣 🤣 everything just boils down to 🤣

I mean, I haven't got a clue, but that's why I'm asking—has anyone else dealt with weird symptoms like this??
magic blue said:haha, yeah, about 16 years ago I ended up in surgery for the exact same 😉

Just kidding! Look, if there was no ejaculation, there’s no pregnancy. Period. 👍

And get this—ovulation was supposed to be happening just one day later, and we didn't even put the protection on until the very end, so yeah, I know there's a chance. 😉

It's not like I wouldn't want it, it's just that it definitely wasn't planned.
I mean, honestly, it makes zero sense to assume it's an appendix issue when I can comfortably pull my knees to my chest without any pain—there's no way it's an ovary. I had an exam just 20 days ago and they showed it was only about 2 cm big—that right side specifically, with three cysts that were clearly under 10mm. Unless there's some weird muscle thing going on inside, but that doesn't make sense either, since muscle fiber inflammation usually dies down after a few days...

So, after ruling out everything else and adding the factor of 🙂, I started wondering about that too (I know, I know—if it were actually that easy, but hey, some people have unplanned pregnancies that way all the time...)

😁
Anyone ever dealt with pain right in the appendix area??

Look, we haven't even tried yet, but ever since my supposed ovulation day, I get this sharp pain whenever my body hits a bit of stress—like if I’m walking and put too much weight on my right leg, or when I'm bouncing around in a car hitting potholes on a rough road...
It's way too early to bother with a pregnancy test, but I'm just throwing it out there—has anyone else actually felt something like this??
😕
OB/GYN Discussion Thread in Women's Health ·
So, I went in for an ultrasound once back when I was still a virgin. They were checking me for PCOS and the doc told me my bladder had to be totally full. Well, I chugged a ton of water, but then he starts pressing down on my stomach and goes, "Yeah, it’s not actually that full," while I'm sitting there literally clenching my legs shut just so I wouldn't explode right then and there. 🤣

Fast forward to my most recent visit—this time it was a transvaginal ultrasound, and yeah, obviously I had to pee before they could even start.

Seriously, give them a call and ask.

Does anyone have any thoughts or actual experiences with Dr. Funduk-Kurjak??

THANKS stela 👍
I’ve been in a total fog all day—just completely out of it—so I definitely need some moral support right about now, especially after my mom spent all yesterday lecturing me about those cookies.
Seriously, she totally caught me off guard. Like, completely blindsided me.

I was honestly ready to just grab the whole batch and toss them straight into the trash!!!
But... ah, whatever, fine

😁

Our boxes are 300 grams each. I’m thinking we just pack them full—you know, with homemade cookies. Though honestly, those fancy ones from the catering spread probably won't be making a comeback.
They should just be happy if they even get any cookies at all 😛

Alexander Ward71 said:I'm not splitting the dessert between the tables and the favors.

Wait, when you say "for home," are you talking about the favor boxes for when people leave, or what???
My plan is to have stuff from a bakery out on the tables—but for the actual giveaway boxes, I’m gonna need like another 15 kg of treats (roughly speaking—if they're 10oz boxes and we're doing 50 boxes...).

My mom said she'd whip up some homemade stuff too, so hopefully that covers the cost.

But look, here's my actual question: do the desserts on the tables need to be the exact same ones in the favor boxes, or can they be different? Like, should I add even more of this homemade stuff to the dessert table itself???

Alexander Ward71 said:We grabbed some treats from Sweet Secret—for about 90 women, she said 16 kg was more than enough.🙂

Wait, does that cover the buffet tables AND the individual gift boxes, or just one of those?😕

Honestly, I’m gonna need a little bit for work too, though nothing crazy—just enough to treat my coworkers.

silverbadger3, what’s your take on this—do you think having about 90 people is enough to knock out 10 different kinds of treats if we’re looking at a total of maybe 45 pounds? (Keep in mind we're getting the recipes ahead of time). We're talking sturdy stuff here, not those flimsy little cookies, but nothing too mushy or creamy either. Also, should the treats in the boxes be identical to what's sitting out on the tables, or is it cool if they're different? Or maybe we just put a few pieces on the tables just so they don't look empty?

Mark Flores6, trust me, I know, and I am 100% on board with you 😉 That's exactly why I want them.
