I’d heard them once at a jazz club and they sounded incredible, but most of this set felt like they were just leaning on Deep Purple covers—which is where they actually shine. Honestly, after that show, I don't see them making any real waves in the rock scene before they eventually fizzle out.
Old-ov, I'm with you 100%. I’m actually friends with members from both bands, and their biggest issue is that while they can play their hearts out and the songwriting is decent, they aren't businessmen. They don't know how to treat music like a career. They're too "intellectual" and stuck in their own heads to take advice from anyone else. In the end, they'll just be playing local bars to a handful of kids who think they're gods, and that'll be the only satisfaction they ever get.👍
