How much common sense does one need to possess to realize that eating the exact same thing every single day is going to take a toll on your body, even without some "super-intelligent" documentary pointing it out?
He could have just made a movie about how he felt like crap because he spent every day eating at a local bakery 🙄 only to gain twenty pounds and develop heart issues, eventually concluding that sweets will kill you and contain various chemicals.
It’s staggering how much nonsense can be sold to people these days.
And at least half of the self-righteous critics 😁 who lecture us about McDonald's food are probably out there lighting up cigarettes constantly, yet they won't step foot in a McDonald's because it's supposedly "gross." Apparently, tobacco companies are all saints, right? 🙄

Superman has passed away
A tribute to Christopher Reeve. His heart finally gave out 😢
It hit me harder than I expected, even though my connection to him was mostly through his role as Superman and seeing him later in life navigating life in a wheelchair. Perhaps it’s because seeing the man who played Superman end up in that position felt particularly poignant to someone who grew up idolizing him. I can't quite put my finger on why it touched such a nerve.

As for everything else, I’ll likely pick up a few more pieces later on. Honestly, heading down to a local video rental shop feels a bit more budget-friendly than this. Besides, nobody actually expects an entire series to be flawless—that’s an impossible standard to meet. In the previous collection, I picked up Life is Beautiful and Apocalypse. Once a couple of titles from The Washington Post are factored in, you end up with some pretty decent additions for a home collection without breaking the bank.
I’m just not the type of enthusiast who’s going to drop 100-$67 on a single movie.

There’s a fair amount of junk in there, mostly nonsense, but the essentials will be the Diplomat 🙏 and Serpico 🙏
As for the rest, just a few random titles come to mind—Terminator 2, Cliffhanger, Highlander, Scream 3...

I was skimming through the Los Angeles Times earlier today (I don't usually pick up a paper—only grabbed this one because of the local indie scene 😁) and there’s an interview featuring Z. Gall and Bucko. He’s quite the legend 👍

Regarding P2P programs and digital downloads, he mentioned he'd much rather have ten million people listening to his music than have a single million people actually buy it. Isn't that something? 👍

It's true that I own every single original R.E.M. CD, unlike those people who complain so incessantly about everything, but honestly, just hearing the music is enough. Still, I'll be buying the new album on physical media once those folks 🙏

If they don't end up hosting it in NYC, it'll probably land in Canada, so we might just make the trip over there.
