Swollen feet – any advice? in Health ·
Jack Harris3 said:Andrew Anderson6:"Damn, my blood pressure is sitting at 80/60 too, just like hers! 😱"

😁 lol; I’d personally hand you a steak and a massive lighter—what are you even smoking?

Jack Harris3 said:little guy's out here treating his wounds with apple cider vinegar...

😁 😁 😁 LOL

Anyway:

Person; seriously, get over yourself... You've spent so much time obsessing over your hair that you could've hit the doctor three times by now... Don't make me come down to... what's the word... and drag you to the clinic myself.

Person; if you don't go to the doctor, we're calling an emergency meeting and showing up at your house; see how you like that. Period. 😉 👋

Harold Kern5 said:Just because you’re skipping ovulation on those crappy birth control pills doesn't mean you're totally safe from getting pregnant.
Basically, even if fertilization actually happens, those hormones can mess with the nutrient supply needed for an embryo to develop—so things might just stall out before they even start.

Spot on. I actually had perfectly healthy follicles while I was on the Pill... I remember Doc 5 listing them once🙄

Pesica; how's everything going??? You head to the doctor yet??? We're all waiting on that diagnosis!!!

P.S. Honestly, you seem more terrified of the doc than my dog is of the vet (btw—don't go taking a dump in the flowerbed 😁 (my pup does that all the time))
MAOI experiences in Health ·
Look, if you just hop on Google and search "MAO inhibitors," you'll get a massive pile of links. Here's one that actually mentions those two specific ones you were asking about...

Hopefully this helps (link and info on MAO inhibitors)

Not really, but from what I gather, doctors usually save MAOI for when other antidepressants just don't cut it—mostly because you can develop a dependency on the enzyme itself, plus the side effects can be a total nightmare. You should probably dig around online if you want the deep dive.

Anyway, try to stick with something else before jumping to an MAOI, if you even have the option.

Huhhhhhhh; honestly, I’d rather not even touch this subject—but maybe you should just get it checked out by a doctor.

It could be something else entirely 😢 (fingers crossed I'm totally off base here, and please feel free to set me straight if any medical pros are reading this): with heart failure or one side of the heart struggling—I think it's the left, but who knows—you can get that symmetrical swelling in both ankles.

Hope I am wrong...

Jack Harris3 said:Thrombosis might actually make sense for me... I smoke like a Turk and I've always been pretty bad about staying hydrated—only started drinking more water recently. Maybe something just clotted up or a little vessel got blocked.
Anyone know what other symptoms to look out for?

Could be... Are you getting cramps in your calves (or even your feet), especially at night? ???

And, Pesica; if you suspect it might be a blood clot, go see a doctor RIGHT NOW; don't wait until next week.

To be fair, it's not all doom and gloom—I deal with the same stuff during the summer heatwaves. It's all been checked out and I'm mostly fine, except for my blood pressure which sits around 80/60 (whenever they actually manage to catch a reading)

Could be kidney issues—though you might just be overthinking the facial swelling too. Or maybe circulation? Like poor lymphatic drainage. Could be anything from your cycle to just the heat wave hitting hard. Hormones, some random inflammation in the abdomen... How are your groin and behind-the-knee lymph nodes feeling? Maybe early signs of a blood clot?

Are your feet actually hurting, or is it just the swelling?

Honestly, could just be dilated veins, low blood pressure, and this damn heat.😉
Update: Longest day ever—just straight up R A S T U 👋 😉 😎

I’ve tried 😉

I swear by the daily "massage" method from the other half—total game changer. 😎

😁 You can't be serious 😲 😁
Yeah; honestly, this method actually helps a bit.😉

Justin Gonzalez87 said:Alright, time to get serious because I have a super serious question:
Will my boobs ever go back to normal?
When can I stop taking these pills?😎

Well, they usually shrink once you quit the meds. But why even worry? They’re huge regardless—just deal with it and stay happy. 😉 😁

By the way, from what I've read, you have a baby; if you're breastfeeding, that probably makes them bigger too... maybe?

P.S. Would mine grow if I just popped all 21 pills at once??? 😕 😁 😁 😁

Justin Gonzalez87 said:My chest size is actually getting bigger today.😢

Seriously, life isn't fair.😠 You get plenty as it is—plus the meds help them grow... meanwhile, nothing for me.😠

😁 😁 😁

casualtinker14: actually, the doctor's right; if your current meds are working, don't mess with them; everyone reacts differently (yeah, Justin Gonzalez87's boobs are growing 😠 😉 while I'm seeing zero results 🙂 )

Been at Logest for a week now. Doesn't look too bad so far—appetite hasn't gone crazy, no water retention issues, no headaches either...

Catch you guys in 2 weeks 😉
William Scott40 said:So I heard actual vegans—you know, the ones who don't touch a single animal amino acid—basically drop dead after three years. But hey, if that's your vibe, go for it. 😉

Laura Green8 said:That’s total nonsense! I know someone who hasn't touched meat in 15 years and they're doing great. They don't even use salt.

What does salt have to do with animal amino acids? Seriously? 😕 😁

And then there's William Scott40's follow-up—asking about eggs or milk—which, newsflash, still counts as animal protein...

Gonna head over to the Science forum to start a thread and see what the experts say. 👋 Found it; here we go...
mellowwalker22 said:A person's digestive tract says enough on its own. What kind of United Nations nonsense is this? We aren't pigs, people... 🙄

Maybe if you actually had organs—you know, like a stomach, or a gallbladder, or an appendix—it would be different, but uuuuuuugh 🙂 🙂 🙂

Why is every vegan popping up in here acting so damn high and mighty??? 😁

Seriously though; someone already said it—eat whatever you want, just don't be an idiot. At least don't try to lecture us on biology and digestive anatomy if you clearly have no clue what you're talking about 🙂

Daniel Lopez said:Man, I seriously have zero concept of time—like, actually none at all.
Andrew Anderson6 says Blondie posted her first one back on May 8th—my brain’s telling me that was ages ago... like, way more than 2 or 3 months past.😁 )
my bad...

Lost in time—honestly, kind of a mood.

🙂
Starting Monday—I’ll let you guys know which 2 or 3 weeks I'm actually around...
Casey Palmer5 said:No water retention or headaches—finally.

Thanks... I was drinking Diet Coke back then—was basically bloated for like 15 days straight every month.
These are the newer ones—supposedly they have the lowest hormone doses out there according to the label. I’m about to start taking them myself. Anyone else actually using these? If you are, let me know how they’re treating you—weight loss, appetite spikes, whatever...

Thanks...
Anyone tried Eudyna cream? in Health ·
Eudyn - I’ve got the gel - it's 👍 for me, though I don't deal with many breakouts (I mostly just use it for those hormonal ones once a month) - so I don't think it'd be an issue - if you overdo it, you'll dry out your skin until it starts flaking (but only if you REALLY go overboard). It works fine for me—whenever some monster breakout shows up, I just slather it on at night and by morning it's gone...
