👍 ideally one that needs like five hours of hiking a day—or maybe just a tiny pup that needs constant attention and love 🙂
Real talk: if you find yourself constantly gravitating toward your bed—and I don't mean you're looking for action—but instead, whenever life gets overwhelming, your first instinct is just to crawl under the covers... and then no matter how much you sleep, you still feel like absolute garbage? That sounds like depression to me (yeah, it can be a late-stage thing too).
First things first: get out of bed. Try cutting back on your sleep—aim for maybe 5 hours max overnight. It’s actually been shown in big studies with depressed patients that shortening sleep (which cuts down REM time) can lead to a massive improvement pretty fast... basically, it boosts your serotonin levels.
The first few days suck, honestly, but give it a shot. Especially try to stay away from naps during the day. Every time you wake up from a nap, you’re just gonna feel worse and worse. Just a heads up—I'm talking specifically about depression here. If you're someone who actually feels refreshed after an afternoon snooze, then hey, go for it.
Also: blast some light. Open those curtains wide or swap in some high-wattage bulbs (and no, I don't work for ExxonMobil 😁)...
If nothing else works—go see a pro and get some meds. That's what they're there for. Anyway, hope you get some decent rest and feel better soon.
👋

Basically, I’ve been putting on some serious weight over the last year—just constant lounging, sleeping, all that. The weird part is the sleep actually makes me feel even more wiped out... if I wake up after noon, I’m basically useless for the rest of the day. Ugh.
Those are classic early signs of depression—not kidding; especially if you feel like absolute garbage right when you wake up.
Paul Campbell3 said:Look, there are a million better diuretics out there than Person.
I never actually said Person was the best diuretic ever— 🙂 I was just theorizing about how it might affect cellulite, okay??? 🙄
Haven't read everything yet, but this whole thing about Person actually makes some sense. Basically, Person is a super strong diuretic—meaning if you go overboard with it in that garden variety form, you're gonna be running to the bathroom all day 😉—so it probably works by basically "flushing" out the water trapped between those cellulite pockets...
mellowwalker22 said:As for amino acids, you can find all of them in plants too.
So you're telling me every single amino acid needed for a body to actually grow properly is just sitting there in
plants—aka plant-based food??? And we don't even need
animal-based proteins??? Interesting...
It's pretty common knowledge that kids shouldn't be raised on a strictly vegan diet—mostly because they need those animal-sourced proteins (which provide the amino acids) to actually grow up right.
mellowwalker22 said:Look, regardless of what you say—is eating pork actually GOOD and HEALTHY???
Not for me—I've got gallstones, so skip it.😁
Still don't see how pork connects to some cult, though.😁 🙄
Roger Smith6 said:So, since my skin is acting up and I've got a super oily face (and by "acting up," I mean it's a total disaster...🙄), would it be smart to occasionally clean my face with a solution?
Hmmmmmmm, honestly, not sure—maybe just buy something specifically made for facial skin? It’s way more sensitive than the rest of you... I'm thinking KMnO4 shouldn't hurt, but who knows how much it'll actually help. Just ask your aunt at the CVS or something; you probably don't need to run to a doctor for it...
With whatever leftover potassium permanganate you have, you could always play mad scientist (just grab a chemistry textbook or something) 😁 or maybe just dye some bedsheets or whatever.
amberwolf7 said:Sometimes I feel like people can snore through their noses too!
Sadly, they totally can. My wife has some pretty serious ENT issues—honestly don't know what to tell you. Either she needs to move out or you gotta scare her enough to actually see a doctor (maybe it's nasal polyps or something)...
Earplugs are absolute garbage. Sure, they muffle the noise, but that feeling is just gross—kind of like when your ears get clogged up while you're swimming at the beach. I can't deal with it. 👎
Roger Smith6 said:Can I actually overdo it with the KMnO4? Like, if I whip up a mixture that's way too strong or if I start cleaning with it a bit too often, am I gonna end up hurting myself somehow???
Thanks in advance...
Nothing much—unless you're looking to get burned. 😉 Just stick to the instructions.
Keith Robinson2 said:I tried Dr. Atkins' original diet once.
So it's basically just a meat feast—basically, you slam tons of protein while dodging carbs like the plague. It’s supposed to work, I guess... though it definitely puts a massive strain on your kidneys and liver.
P.S. Didn't Atkins have a heart attack recently or something?
Chris Ruiz10 said:The doc claims it’s all just "individual" stuff... whatever that actually means.
He’ll probably try to brush it off as psychological. 🙄 (I mean, could be, but you gotta rule out everything else first.)
Don't just pop pills—if it's still hurting, go get a second opinion from another doctor.
Where exactly is this wound, if you don't mind me asking?
Grace Mitchell22 said:If it were a girl, picking a name would be easy—maybe Nena, Marusha, or even Blondie... 😉
Khmmmmm, what’s wrong with Blondie? 😠 😁 😁 😁
And why wouldn't it be George or Tony? 🙄 😁
There's a ton of info out there on this. Symptoms vary like crazy from person to person, too. Here's a link for you. You'll probably dig up even more if you just hit up www.google.com and search for Lymphoma...

if they've got an STD, they're probably staying celibate and dying for some action... yeah, that sounds just like my 🙄 😁
God, you're a nutcase (affectionately)—just look at that photo 😉 😁 . If you're still a virgin, even your teeth would start looking desperate 😁 😁 😁
Kenneth Hernandez67 said:Please—just go ask any random ENT or dentist to show you what modern moles actually look like...🙄
😲 😲 Nice try, I already called you old—but I honestly had no clue about this one...

Just one thing—don't feel pressured to answer—but do you have any underlying autoimmune issues?

neonmoose3 said:The official diagnosis is condyloma acuminata in remission.
Oops—my bad, we totally messed that up. It turns out I was right and it’s definitely HPV. 😲
Here’s the link: Condyloma acuminatum refers to an epidermal manifestation attributed to the epidermotropic human papillomavirus (HPV). The most commonly affected areas are the penis, vulva, vagina, cervix, perineum, and perianal area. Uncommon mucosal lesions in the oropharynx, larynx, and trachea have been reported. HPV-6 even has been reported in other uncommon areas (eg, extremities). Never heard of it hitting anything besides the genitals or the ass before. Shit...
You doing interferon or some kind of antiviral miracle drug???
Sorry again. 👎
Kenneth Hernandez67 said:I'm using the word... I don't even know what to say to that—just total nonsense. just a way to flesh out someone's personality—nothing more. 😉
darkbison81 said:It’s just about who they are—their actual personality. 😁
Honestly, I’m more into the front end than the back—the rear just gives me weird, clinical vibes. 🙄
😁 😁 😁 HPV already carries such a heavy stigma—I was honestly just trying to be polite...
Honestly, I think "asshole" works way better as a personality trait than just calling someone a "jerk"—like, you know, when you're describing some total asshole. 😁 )
