Noah Sanchez7 said:quiethound45, you're a dear, but I was being sarcastic. 😘

I get the feeling you actually mean that..
Even if it was just sarcasm, the idea that all this stuff fascinates you seems a bit questionable..
Since we don't really know much about you beyond what you've posted here—which might just be an illusion—I can't really dive deep into what's actually going on with you..
Anyway, if you really are using something—first off, you have to get clean... don't worry, I'm not some kind of straight-edge fanatic; I think it's fine occasionally, provided it's something light, the vibe is right, and it stays within reasonable, occasional limits...
I know plenty of people who got hooked during certain phases of their lives. I'll just say one thing: as many dimensions as drugs might open up, they also dull you, numb you, and slowly eat away at you until you're destroyed..
I haven't read through the whole thread, so I'm not sure what specifically you're on?
And you have to do this for yourself and your own future, not for anyone else (most people feel like they have to do it for their parents, their peers, a partner, etc.)...
But I probably shouldn't push the discussion further since there isn't much concrete to latch onto..
And please, stop exhausting yourself by worrying about trivial things like what other people think. Most people are a mess, but you should just find a few people similar to you who you care about and live for yourself and them. I'm not sure, do you have a girlfriend?
You also need to have goals in life... but maybe something more meaningful? Just chasing material success feels empty. That stuff tends to come naturally, and it won't make you happy. You're happy if you're satisfied with yourself and if you meet the standards you've set for yourself. Have you? Are you satisfied and happy with your life?
That's where you have to start...🙂

Love you guys, 😘

I’ll find a girlfriend and live a straight life. I'll finish school, get a job, and eventually take out a loan to buy a damn good big-screen TV and a car. Maybe even grab a plane ticket to Africa, though I've been there before.

So, that's your definition of happiness and being "normal"? Just a TV and a car? You think having those things instantly turns someone from an addict into a big-shot success story?
And if that's the case, how are you any different from the people you claim to despise? Based on this post, it seems like everything just comes down to the balance in your bank account...
It’s the same old story, just different packaging.
It really all comes down to how you perceive things. Most people out there are pretty much driven by consumerism and material stuff...
But that isn't what true fulfillment or actually enjoying life is about. Real enjoyment doesn't come from drugs or money.🙂

Two opposite extremes... I honestly can't tell which is worse. It feels like a psychological pathology on both sides.
Rebellion versus perfectionism—that constant craving for external glamour and status..
In my view, both are fundamentally unhealthy..
They should probably be avoided altogether..
There’s actually another dimension to this. I live in a different space entirely; I have no respect for the "drifters" or the "performers," because both represent an artificial state people force themselves into just to prove something. But to what end? They're just exposing their own vulnerability to the opinions of others and letting the noise of the world drown out their own lives, instead of focusing on creating their own happiness..
The drifters, living those messy, bohemian lifestyles, are just destroying themselves. To me, anyone who self-destructs is essentially weak. I don't have much patience for weakness or destructive behavior, especially since it seems to be a widespread human issue—we tend to sabotage ourselves through everything we do. We need to address these problems rather than just closing our eyes and pretending they aren't there. We caused things like global warming ourselves; now we just have to fix it. It’s much easier to play dumb and run away from reality, which is what most people do. Addiction is really just another way of escaping life..
It's the same with material addiction, where people feel the need to look perfect just to feel okay, mostly because they're empty inside. They're running from their problems. Even a big shopping spree or a trip to Mauritius acts like a drug—it temporarily masks the issues..
But honestly, it's all pretty foolish. It's such trivial nonsense that it might not even be worth writing about..
Humans were meant to pursue much higher goals and purposes, but it seems like we went off the rails right from the start, given how much of humanity has lost its way..

I think there might be a Djuro XXXL location over on Vlaska, if you're coming from the square...
But honestly, they all seem like pretty basic spots to me... since we don't really have those teen-oriented XXL stores like you see in the US, where it's just totally normal to find them everywhere...
I guess we've always been a relatively average-sized people... especially with the smaller population here...
If someone is a bit heavier, they can probably still get by with standard larger sizes found in most regular clothing shops...
I don't know... that's just my take on it...
Can bra underwires cause breast pain? in Health ·
Did you check to see if that wire is sticking out? I wouldn't want it poking you or anything.😬
Incognito mode? in Forum Help! ·
Where on earth is that supposed to be? Where do I even find this invisible mode setting? 😕 😳
It’s probably buried somewhere in my profile settings, but I’m clearly missing it, as usual. 😎
Drinking coffee on an empty stomach? in Health ·
feralwolf24 said:Maybe try a spoonful of honey with some lemon or orange juice before you reach for the coffee? I get sticking to your routine, but when things start going sideways... well, doctors aren't perfect, and honestly, some can be pretty reckless depending on who you end up seeing. It might be worth weighing your options. I know we all start out thinking, "this won't happen to me," but eventually, you might find yourself wondering why it happened to you specifically. My husband and I went in with that same mindset, and it ended... poorly. In our case, it was a close call, but still not ideal. I don't want to sound pessimistic, but you might not be as lucky as we were if things take a turn.

So, what actually happened?
Artificial sweeteners: thoughts? in Health ·
😲 ..
I'm probably using about 10 to 15 Natreen sweeteners a day..😳
🤔That's roughly 2 or 3 coffees, some tea, and an unsweetened drink made with Natreen...
Does anyone know what the daily limit actually is..
Does anyone have any idea how many tablets you can safely take per day?
I might be in trouble..😲

Karen Reed18 said:Um, I actually use them quite a bit—not intentionally, though—so I was wondering...

I'm in the same boat. Honestly, I can't even drink anything unsweetened anymore because it just tastes weirdly thin to me. I guess I've become dependent on Natreen..😳 ..
Even though I try to stick to the "premium" brands, since the cheaper ones have such a strange aftertaste (you know, those massive bulk packs you get for $4.00)...🤔

brisknomad6 said:That’s pretty much what I was thinking.

If that's the case, then things have really blown up after a year, and who knows how many different types I might be carrying around now.🙄

Streptococcus is everywhere... most people just carry it around. It's a commensal, meaning we actually need it, but like anything else, it tends to cause trouble if it gets the chance—usually triggered by things like stress, a weakened immune system, or other similar factors.😬

Yeah, I went ahead and cleared them out... whatever they were meant to be.

Flickering window... in Forum Help! ·
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the reply box keeps shrinking while I'm typing my response... It's getting pretty frustrating, and I was wondering why this happens & if there are plans to fix it...
Because the only way I can actually see what I’ve written is by constantly scrolling back up to review the message...
And it’s not just replies; it happens when I'm sending private messages or editing posts too. The text area just narrows on its own. Eventually, it gets so thin that you can only see maybe three letters per line, which makes trying to fix typos or edit anything a total nightmare...
Does anyone know what's causing this?😕

slydrifter33 said:So he only rushes into it with me during those last couple days of my period... when I still have just a tiny bit left. And he doesn't even use condoms.. 🙂

🙂

You should probably be careful—it’s not exactly safe. You have to keep in mind that sperm can live inside you for about three days, while an egg waits for about two days to be fertilized...
And what happens if you happen to ovulate a little earlier than expected by mistake?
If you have a standard 28-day cycle, the first five days after your period starts are usually infertile, but if ovulation shifts forward by just a few days, you might end up pregnant unexpectedly...
I suppose blood does affect sperm motility, so having sex during your period is more or less relatively safe, but because of the risk of early ovulation, I wouldn't recommend going for it during those last two days..
I guess the best time would be day one (though I wouldn't suggest days 2 or 3, since if your flow is heavy it could get pretty messy... even though those two days are actually the most secure from that perspective)

Susan Williams10 said:Well, it hasn't been super recent, but I guess you could say I'm relatively new to all of this. And honestly, yeah, I am panicking, but I suppose that isn't really weird...

It’s not weird at all. Honestly, I feel like I'm looking at myself here. Back when I first started college and was navigating my sex life, I used to freak out over every tiny little sign. I’ve gone through about ten tests now, so I think I have a pretty good idea of the mental state you're in right now..
Eventually, you'll get more experienced, learn how your body and sex work, relax, and end up just like me—helping out someone new who's going through their own panic..
Those tests are about 99% accurate... though I'd say they're basically 100%, since neither I nor any of my friends have ever had one fail us, whether it was confirming a pregnancy or ruling one out. That said, they're pretty much reliable starting two days before your period, and if you wait until you're actually 2 or 3 days late, I think they're extremely dependable...
By the way, if your periods are regular, it's a huge help to track your fertile and non-fertile days. You really have to learn to recognize your cycle and how your body works. During my fertile window, I always use condoms; around those dates, we're extra careful, but toward the end of the cycle when I know the egg has already been released (usually when you feel those cramps and PMS hitting), we don't bother being as cautious. We just relax during those 2 or 3 days before my period starts. 😉 🙂
And I guess panic plays a massive role in everything. If you're panicking, you're stressed, and stress can actually delay your period. If it's late, I'd recommend avoiding sex for a day or two, because even then, it's said that stress can affect things down there... so just try to relax, and it will come...😉 surely...😉

briskgull27 said:The strangest part is just how aware I am of it. For instance, back when I was living with my boyfriend, his parents would head off to work, and I’d just snap. I once actually lunged at his mom because she wouldn't give me his phone—I ended up grabbing her by the hand and snatching a gold necklace right off her. It's like when you lose your mind, you get this surge of strength.
If things were any worse, I think I’d still want to lash out at her today, just because I find her so repulsive.
Even before all that, there was something about her—this grayish-green vibe. I never could stand her.

So, I guess that's just how it works... when you want something, you just act on it and make it happen.😬
