Ovaries: Cysts and related issues [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
It isn't ovulation... I know that's possible during ovulation, but...
this has been going on for a month now and it feels different...
I'm getting these sharp, stabbing pains😢
Ovaries: Cysts and related issues [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Has anyone ever dealt with some kind of lingering discomfort down there...
I've never really had issues before, but for the last month or so, there's been this constant light stinging and a dull sensation in my lower abdomen. It’s not intense or anything scary, just a persistent tension and those little sharp stabs.🤔
I have an appointment with Ginić soon, but today the stinging feels so strange that I'm starting to get a bit worried. I can even feel a bit of that cramping pain.
I don't have any other symptoms—no fever or unusual discharge. My period arrived right on schedule, too.
I'm wondering if this could be related to my colon.🤔>
That dull ache reminds me a bit of the soreness and weakness I usually get right before my period, so that's why I'm making the connection.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is it possible for ovarian inflammation to manifest this way?

Basically, we just need to train our guys to wake up earlier, brew the coffee, fix breakfast, and all that good stuff.😛

Mmm. So he gets eight, I get ten, plus free coffee—sounds like a solid deal to me.😉 😬
Sleeping 12 hours... anyone else? in Health ·
It might just be a habit... I’ve actually tried sticking to an eight-hour sleep schedule for a few weeks at a time, but once a week, I just crash. I'll end up passing out for a whole afternoon 😁
My doctor is great, but I honestly doubt he has much insight into this specific issue. It feels like something I should probably run by a specialist—I'm just not sure which kind 🤔

A predator who directly inflicts physical and psychological pain on another person, especially a child, is not the same as an addict who, if they cause anyone pain, does it exclusively to themselves!!

Since you aren't any smarter, I can't really blame you..

Regarding child abuse—maybe try re-reading your own comment alongside the very first post in this thread..
Hopefully, you'll see the connection there...😉

There are noble causes worth fighting for, and then there’s just utopian nonsense..
It’s like how if you start looking for the first kind, tomorrow a predator will be demanding their rights too, because we're apparently so pathetic that we won't admit they should be locked away for hurting a six-year-old, or that they need society to provide them with medication because they're sick and it's a mental health issue.
I could maybe wrap my head around that, since a mental disorder is a condition that might be subconsciously driven, but to consciously and willfully inject yourself three times a day—systematically destroying yourself and everyone around you through sheer habit—that’s just pure stupidity.
Well, if someone wants to live like that, more power to them..
Helping people who systematically and intentionally create their own messes, only to turn around and demand the government or the system step in to support their "choice" to engage in such idiocy—isn't that the definition of a utopia?
If you consciously dragged yourself into the gutter out of your own weakness or desire, then you should be the one pulling yourself out.
Nobody is forcing anyone to use drugs..
You reap what you sow..
That's just how it works..
And nothing in this world is free. People work to feed their families, from doctors to pharmaceutical companies. So you expect people to work for free for some idiot who decided to indulge themselves, wasted massive amounts of money on insurance or healthcare, and ended up ruining lives—including their own—only to play the victim and claim they're too weak and sick to need help without assistance?
Give me a break..
You're talking nonsense...
There are starving people and those with terminal illnesses in this world...
People like that should be charged double instead of getting everything handed to them for free. It's already more than enough that they get access to sterile needles and generic prescriptions. In my opinion, that money could have been spent much better elsewhere..
Because these individuals are hollowed out inside. They're ruins. They have always been, and always will be, a drain on society.
Instead of helping someone with cerebral palsy, the resources go to an idiot capable of stealing from their own mother for a single gram..
If they're willing to sell themselves for insurance coverage, then they can sell themselves to pay for their treatment, if that's truly what they want...

I guess you have a point..
reading that post, it reminds me of those pride parades and all that push for rights..where's the money coming from?..if you want to deal with the consequences of your own choices—it's your call. if someone forced you or pushed you—no... then nobody's stopping you, so just stay quiet and suck it up however you see fit..
it's the same thing with addicts..
who's to blame if they choose to use..if they're making foolish decisions, that's on them..in a few years, there'll just be one less fool out there.🙂

Noah Sanchez7 said:I’m not sure if any of you have heard about blockers.
They basically neutralize the effects of any drugs, including heroin.
There are three types available >> pills, injections, and implants.

I stick to the pills because they’re the cheapest option. One pill lasts me two days, and during that time, I can take as much coke as I want and it’ll feel like I just drank a glass of water. It’s the same deal with oxycodone, Tramadol, and stuff like that.
Now, an implant that lasts two months goes for about $650, and an injection that works for a month is around $430.
Where am I supposed to get that kind of money?

I recently heard there’s this new injection that lasts for an entire year! And wouldn't you know it, it costs $3,200...?!

A blocker is hands down the most effective way to get clean, mostly because you realize there's no point in chasing a high when you know it won't hit.
If some "addict" were to get that one-year injection, do you know what that actually means for them?
It means no coke for a whole year. And during those twelve months, they aren't just going to sit at home waiting for the clock to run out; they’ll likely try to get back into a normal routine.

So, I’m asking you good people—specifically those working in the outpatient clinics who claim to care so much about helping addicts recover—can't this be made a little more affordable, or even free???

It's just more proof that everything is about the money. Nobody actually gives a damn about us addicts.

Someone would drop $50 on coke every single day, but wouldn't pay $3,200 for a yearly blocker? What kind of logic is that? It feels totally irrational—I guess it's just addict logic. 🤣
They'd be lining dealers' pockets every day, sometimes multiple times a day, and then once the money runs out and they hit withdrawal, they start demanding free healthcare. That's when it's "Help me, doctor, you're too expensive." But it wasn't "too expensive" when they were choosing to snort or smoke every day.

Yeah, great. 🙄

Noah Sanchez7 said:How can you not get that an addict has the right to be an addict and destroy themselves if they choose to.
It's their life, and it's their choice.
Am I in the same "mess" as you? Yeah, I am.
And you know what? I'm checking out now, and I'll go through rehab just so I can stop being a burden on my family. Once I feel like myself again, I'll just go right back to it and use until the day I die.

Because to me, a straight life is just as much of a disaster, so I might as well just swap one disaster for another..

They can ruin themselves, sure, but then they shouldn't have kids.
Because if they do, they drag them into all of this, and those kids don't have a choice.

Random thought: I actually just got back from a trip to the coast... they found this local guy there. He was on leave from the military for seven years already. They found him after two days, just lying there in his house. He was bloated and practically green from the heat, and apparently, a stray cat bit his finger and scratched his face.
Only four buddies from his unit showed up to the funeral (they were also on leave).
His elderly parents basically disowned him, though word is they're still paying for the service. They had been in the house to do an inventory check in case things went south, especially since he had some debts...
Aside from an old radio, a beat-up table, some plastic chairs, and a mattress, they couldn't find anything else. I really wonder where it all went.🤔
Is that really what life is?
He was only 32...

Steven Lopez19 said:And what about the addicts???
Nobody asks about them and nobody advocates for them either; they just toss them onto the street like trash, leaving them zero chance at a decent life.

Look who’s talking about how nobody stands up for them...
If someone actually ran up to you offering help... if you were honest and actually wanted it, you’d see it isn’t quite like what you’re claiming...
I don't hate addicts, but I hate what they've chosen to become and the way they consciously wreck their own lives while refusing to help themselves...
Every day I’d see addicts who couldn't even hold a conversation because they were so high on heroin; they couldn't even keep their spit in their mouths, just constant drooling...
And the end result was him and his mother—who was in the exact same boat—lying there with a newborn... who pays the bills? There was one potato in the fridge...
So tell me now, who am I supposed to feel sorry for? I felt for that baby... I couldn't wrap my head around them. Their grandparents ended up taking the child away...
They took them to Sakoman a hundred times... they tried every therapy under the sun, even those blockbusters... and you know what happened? It didn't work. The craving was just too strong...
Then came the moment when the debts piled up (they sold half their stuff, thousands in unpaid bills... the parents finally split them up. First, the cousin agreed to go into rehab because he had no other choice...
As for the young lady, she kept using secretly for another 6 months while pretending to go to detox (the old folks believed her and kept giving her money), so when everything finally blew up, things got ugly for her too, and now she’s stuck in rehab herself...
The kid is wonderful, though. After 4 months, he went to join his mom in rehab, and that's where they are now...
Come on people, addiction is a disease, sure, but it's a disease that can be treated. So put in some actual effort instead of just whining about how society won't accept you...

I agree..

And let's be clear—I'm not judging someone using recreationally as long as they're in control, but we all know what happens when the substance takes over.🙄
I've seen enough to feel sick about it myself...👎
It just destroys everything in its path.👎

Even in paradise, you’re bound to run into some rot...
Are we even human...?
Are we really people...?

That is exactly my point. What should be "taken away" from people who act like that? If I may ask, are their children being taken from them? Do they even have a right to a family or a "normal" life?
And if they do, what's the problem?
Who among us is actually blind here?

That mother struggling with addiction uses drugs because she actually feels things—things that hurt her—unlike those people in the video who feel nothing and understand nothing.
She might not live long, but I am certain she won't teach her kids any of the nonsense shown in that video!

Come on, you're making excuses for them now...
Drug use (especially hard drugs) has never been good, positive, normal, or acceptable.
For one simple reason: those people are killing themselves. Slowly, maybe, but they are.
If they want to throw their lives away, that's on them.
It's just another group of ruined, broken lives resulting from their own stupidity and weakness...
But the child isn't at fault in any of this. 😠
I'm about to relapse, please help! in Psychology ·
What kind of mother are you going to be once you're gone?
It’s an obvious reality—nobody survives heroin long-term. The only way to survive is to get clean.
What is your little boy going to think about his mother when he finds out? He will find out one day. It’s inevitable.
And what is all this junk actually for? To feel "normal"? I feel that way every single day—and honestly, it's not worth it. Between the cost, the constant pressure, the debts, hunting for a fix, the needles, and all the other bullshit that comes with trying to maintain that version of "normal"... it's just not worth it.
Get rid of it, no matter how hard it gets. Give the kid back to his family and go into rehab.
In two or three years, that child is going to need someone he can actually rely on.
Things can't work like this. You have to realize that until you make a change, absolutely nobody is going to be able to help you.
Oh, and one more thing—if you don't get clean, they’ll take him away from you anyway. But it doesn't matter, because you're already losing him every single day. If you do change, maybe he'll actually find someone who stays around to see his high school prom, his first girlfriend, or his wedding...

Just think about it—everything depends on you. No one else, just you.
The choice is yours. Only yours.
If you choose indifference, you're choosing ruin for your son.
If you choose to fight this, you're choosing life—firstly for yourself, and then for him too.
Your child deserves more than a mother struggling with addiction and a father involved in crime... and when he eventually realizes that, it might be too late.
Take action.
Good luck.🙂
Explosive: A feature story on eye healing in Health ·
They seem like a bunch of scammers to me..
Maybe there’s some truth to it, but then you just get these shady characters looking to cash in on the hype.. glasses $1000 and consultations $133 after signing an agreement that prevents you from disputing anything.. I guess it's hard to tell who's being naive or just foolish here 🙄

The image sharpens into perfect clarity, but only for a split second before it blurs again. You blink, and it sharpens again.

Regarding focus, I can also manage to concentrate for a few seconds to see things more clearly, but then everything just goes blurry again. It seems pretty normal to me 😬
Any new insights out there? What kind of side effects are we talking about?..
My left eye is at +4 while my right is at 0, which is why I get these constant headaches..
Is it actually worth getting this done in my case?
A friend of my dad's wife went from -17 down to +0.5.. she’s absolutely thrilled with the results, which really caught my attention, but I'm honestly a bit worried about the potential side effects...
frozenbear5 said:Oh, right—I use a liquid intimate wash from Bali. I’m not sure what the pH level is, but I assume if it’s specifically made for that, it should be fine. Though, honestly, you probably don't need anything else at all.

Bali doesn't actually make a liquid intimate wash😬

Regarding my own issues, it might just be that things are getting too dry, which can stretch the delicate skin until it cracks... especially if you aren't moisturizing enough.🙂
You should definitely see a gynecologist and tell the doctor to just give you a break for ten days so everything can heal up properly.
Maybe try applying some gentle baby diaper rash cream to the area.
And please, don't try to treat anything like yeast infections without a doctor's advice.
Besides, it's likely not even a fungal issue.🙂

Well, they spray it maybe once or twice a year (give or take), but it doesn't really do much. I usually go for a walk along the embankment the next day, hoping they're gone, but it’s always the same story... you hear them buzzing everywhere.
I guess it might help a little in some neighborhoods further away from the riverbank, but it doesn't seem to save the area right along the water at all...

I don't think they actually get under the skin, because from what I understand, they just burrow right in under there
and cause trouble.

Actually, that's not quite right. If you look closer...

You might be thinking of mites... those ones tend to tunnel under the skin layer.
Or maybe ticks... they wedge their heads under the surface to feed on blood.

No cats wandering around here, and no other animals in the vicinity either...

What are the actual symptoms of fleas??? Like I said, what I'm feeling
is like a mosquito bite, just turned up to about a level 7 in terms of how long it lasts
and how much it itches....

And most importantly: how do I kill them??? 🙂

PS. Did you mean DDT???

Professional exterminators handle this stuff—pest control, disinfection, etc.
Or, more simply put, they're the people who come in and spray apartments to deal with various bugs (mostly cockroaches and moths) and fight off infestations. 😬
Technically, it falls under "DDD," which includes deodorizing, though most people just call it DDD, and things like scenting or refreshing a room aren't applied all that often anymore. 🙂

Could they just be regular mosquitoes or gnats (those tiny black or sand-colored flies that also bite and sting—though I doubt they'd fly up this high since they don't have much of a range)?
Maybe try using a mosquito repellent plug-in?
Mosquito bites and stings in Health ·
Also, consider getting one of those liquid plug-ins. I hear they work better if you just leave them running most of the time..
The entire area near Arlington has a massive mosquito problem (especially this year since it’s been so hot and humid), so besides screens and plug-ins, you're probably going to need extra help. Maybe they'll do some mosquito spraying soon, but I doubt that'll do much since they just breed again anyway.
There are actually different kinds out there... those tiger mosquitoes have probably already bred up. And the ones around Arlington are incredibly aggressive.. I never go down to the embankment in the summer because they bite right through clothes and even jeans.
That sounds terrible!
Either get used to it or move somewhere else.😬
