Then, you follow that with one day of carb loading to basically reset your hormones.
rustyowl4 said:you don't even have to hit ketosis; if your daily calorie count ends up being lower overall, you're golden...
-it’s one of the easier ways to drop weight—just two days of low calories followed by one day at maintenance or a slight surplus... basically, if you're running a deficit on a weekly basis, that's all that matters...
-you can even do a zig-zag approach, moving pyramidically from low calorie intake to high calorie intake
Everyone finds what works for them. At the end of the day, as long as your energy intake is less than what you burn, you're set...
wearynomad6 said:Look, if you actually want to torch fat, maybe try eating like Michael Rivera63. Though, honestly, that 2:1 depletion/repletion ratio seems a bit light to me... can you even hit ketosis in such a short window?
Kenneth Robinson85 said:I’m eating light, but you’re clearly trying to pack on mass. My goal is just to use this fat to fuel muscle growth—that's my endgame. I don't need any more bulk than this... 🙂😉
Kenneth Robinson85 said:Alright people, since you all "apparently" understand each other so well... :P I’ve got a question for the group. I’m trying to wrap my head around how you can actually lose weight using protein. From what I hear, everyone talks about using it to build muscle mass, but then I come across this diet plan by some French doctor claiming that if you stick strictly to just protein and water for five days, the weight just falls off—though, obviously, you’re supposed to transition back to a more balanced diet afterward. So, help me out here... how exactly does consuming protein lead to weight loss?🙏
wearyotter81 said:No way! You'll end up with a liver that turns straight into dust! Just pure whey powder... 😁
wearyotter81 said:You can pick up some glucose (yeah, grape sugar) at DM. You want to aim for a 2:1 ratio in favor of the glucose. So, two scoops of glucose for every one scoop of whey—which usually packs about 30g of protein. That’s plenty for a post-workout meal. Just mix it with water.

I’ve been sitting here staring at this video for a while now, trying to wrap my head around the sheer audacity of what we’re seeing... It’s one thing to witness a debate, but it’s quite another to watch a complete breakdown of logic in real-time. Honestly, I expected more. Much more. The way the arguments are being structured—if you can even call them that—is almost impressive in its dysfunction. It reminds me of those high-stakes political debates you see on CNN during election season, where everyone is just shouting past each other rather than actually engaging with the substance of the issue. It’s performative. Purely performative... I find myself wondering if anyone involved actually believes the nonsense coming out of their own mouths, or if this is all just part of some grand, cynical theater designed to keep the audience distracted. It feels hollow. There’s a distinct lack of intellectual rigor here that is frankly exhausting to sit through. One would think that with this much platform, there might be a modicum of dignity left... but apparently not. It's just another day in the circus, I suppose.
They’re more than just powerlifters...
The PWL situation is getting way too speculative for my liking, but... ovom Respect. 👍
