How do I learn to listen to my intuition? in Spirituality ·
Honestly, I don’t think life experience plays nearly as big a role in making decisions from the heart as people claim... To me, intuition is just something you're born with. As we get older, we tend to let our egos and our heads take over more than we realize. Sure, having some mileage under your belt can help you dodge old mistakes or make a "smarter" call, but you have to ask yourself: were those previous choices even coming from the heart to begin with? I'm not saying experience doesn't matter, but most people struggle to face what they’re actually feeling, or they're just too scared to admit it. I know I've been there myself. At the end of the day, I truly believe feelings are everything—they're the ultimate compass for knowing if something is right or wrong.

I’ve definitely found myself wondering how to actually tell the difference between true intuition and just... fake intuition? You know, that stuff driven by the ego or straight-up anxiety. People say the ego lives in the head and tries to run things using logic, fear, and a whole mess of other emotions. If you really want to make a choice coming straight from the heart, try to quiet the noise in your mind as much as possible. Just relax, let go, and allow yourself to actually feel things without labeling everything as "good" or "bad." Decisions made from the heart rather than the brain are usually the real deal—it's just that not many people know how to spot them when they happen.
Bone Marrow Donation in Health ·
Hey there! Does having an autoimmune disease affect bone marrow donation? Like, can someone still be a great candidate regardless of their diagnosis? Also, does weight matter if you're under 110 lbs? I’m assuming not, but I figured I’d ask since I know you can't, say, donate blood if you're under 110 lbs.
Hey, quick question about my birth control. I actually skipped my period by starting a second pack immediately after finishing the first one, without taking that usual seven-day break. Now I’m almost at the end of this second pack, and I was wondering—is it okay if I take my seven-day break now to wait for my period? And should I actually expect it to show up during those days? Please let me know as soon as you can!🙂...I hope you guys catch my drift.
How effective are these workouts? in Hobbies & Leisure ·

This is more of that nonsense you hear from pretty much every girl hitting the gym who just sticks to the StairMaster, stationary bikes, and treadmills. And when you ask why they won't touch a weight, it's always "because I don't want to get bulky." Right, because we all know you can turn into a bodybuilder in two months just by lifting 5 or 10 pound dumbbells. Yeah, okay.

First off, you gotta decide what you actually want for yourself. But I can tell you right now, you aren't going to "bulk up" without serious training (which means you can totally forget about those workouts where you just move through exercises all day without even breaking a sweat). You should plan on hitting it at least three times a week for at least an hour each time.

Honestly, Susan is clearly toned—not just her legs, but her thighs are definitely her strongest part. From my experience, you can totally get ab definition like image just by doing standard crunches, you just have to put in some cardio work if you aren't already super lean.

I'm thinking about stopping my birth control pills, but would it be an issue if I don't finish the whole pack?
Does anyone know roughly how long the wait is for a hand ultrasound if I use my insurance?
I’ve actually been to this hospital before for an ultrasound and some therapy, but I really need to get another scan done for a follow-up because my condition has gotten so much worse lately... I'm honestly torn on whether I should just bite the bullet and go private to skip the wait.
Wounds and their aftermath in Health ·
😕There’s really nothing you can do besides waiting for a scab to form and fall off on its own. Using some Tylenol powder helps, or maybe even some old Bivacin

Has anyone here actually seen Dr. Perković over at the Sun clinic regarding potential PCOS? Or is his main focus more on thyroid issues? (God, that sounds so silly, doesn't it? 😬)
Honestly, there are plenty of regular nose shapes out there too. I never really understood why guys feel the need to get rid of a little bump on their nose, especially if it’s not even that huge. To me, those masculine noses that aren't perfectly straight actually give a face some real "character" and make someone stand out...
Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
So, I need to head in for some blood work in about 2 to 5 days, but I’ve run into a bit of a timing issue. Basically, my actual period only started yesterday morning with bright red blood, but then two days before that, I noticed just a few little spots of old, dried blood on my underwear. Before those spots showed up, there was absolutely nothing going on. 😕The big question is: when should I actually start counting Day 1 of my cycle?
Do I count it from when I saw those tiny little spots, or does the clock only start once the heavy flow kicks in?

I was wondering, is there actually a way to tell the difference between a regular period and vaginal bleeding during early pregnancy?

So, here’s the deal: I’ve been on Lyndinette for the last three months, and after chatting it over with my OB-GYN, I decided to switch back to Yasmin. Basically, after finishing my Lyndinette pack, I had my usual seven-day break for my period, but instead of starting Lyndinette again, I just jumped straight into Yasmin without any gap. Is that actually okay??
One leg is shorter than the other in Health ·
Since when did you realize one leg was shorter than the other? I honestly don't think it has anything to do with just sitting weirdly... you should definitely go see a doctor—like an orthopedist specifically. You can't really fix something like that on your own with just some exercises...
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
So, I’ve been on Lyndinette low-dose birth control pills for about two months now. I had my usual seven-day break during my period and was supposed to start the next pack yesterday, but I totally blanked and missed 😵. I started taking them again today, so basically, I'm just one day late starting this new "round"... Can my hormones get all wonky because of that? And is it fine that I just jumped back in today, or should I have taken a full month off or something? Also, I’ve noticed my skin hasn't improved at all since I started these—honestly, it's actually looking worse... when I was on Yasmin, my skin was absolutely flawless 🤷. I'm thinking about switching to something else, maybe Yaz, but I'm low-key terrified of gaining weight... Plus, doctors told me to avoid high-dose pills because I have a fibroid

Is Nitko not on Lindynette birth control?😢
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
So, about a year ago, I was on Yasmin and honestly, it worked wonders for me. I took a little break, but about a month ago, I started on these low-dose Lindynette pills. The thing is, I haven’t noticed any change in my skin at all. Those tiny breakouts are still hanging around. My OBGYN actually suggested switching to Lindynette because of a fibroid I have. Is anyone else here taking Lindynette? How long did it take before you saw an improvement in your skin? I know these things take time to kick in, but with Yasmin, I saw a difference after just a month, and right now, I’m seeing absolutely nothing.🤷
Am I normal for noticing things that don't seem right? in Psychology & Therapy ·
Why is the OP even questioning his own sanity just because of some girl's comments? It doesn't mean he's actually acting weird or anything, but if she's reacting like that, it’s clearly not hitting the mark with her. She's automatically jumping to all sorts of crazy conclusions...
