They played once out in some suburb near Columbus or maybe Dayton, I can't remember. Luigi, Bilk—you know, that old guy who always had a crowd—plus a couple of other heavy blues-metal bands... and out of all those tough drummers, Dunja was the only one who actually snapped a stick. Maybe that stick was just ready to head to heaven, or maybe it's just lost in the woods somewhere.
Those idiots from Foot Locker jumped on stage and started preaching to everyone + they could've seen everything on the massive video wall... but Matthew Herbert was the absolute goat!
Sophia Loren was absolute fire during those early shows (back when they were just opening for Guns N' Roses and Mambo Kurt). Now? They’ve gone totally mainstream and let the fame get to their heads. Props to them though—they’re still killer. Honestly, it’s not even on them... nobody’s really to blame. It's just a one-night stand.
Amelie is the first and last movie where I watched the trailer and thought, "Okay, this might actually be the best thing ever." Then I finally sat down to watch it... and honestly? It was even better. Just leaves me feeling good after a viewing... kind of like how I feel today 🙂
? Anyone catch this thing? It’s some pretty wild animation technique. They shot the whole movie on a digital camera then just ran it through Photoshop and pure madness. It’s basically just a bunch of scenes where this guy talks to random people about the meaning of life... philosophy... all that stuff. Feels like a dream he can't wake up from. Anyone seen it? Who?
