Solid. I loved it. The music is insane... that piano theme is just too good. And that clarinet player? Pure magic. Everything about it was killer.
Did you guys catch that part near the end where he heads back to NYC and talks to his cousin, and they suddenly switch to English? Why though? Anyone know why?
Saw it on TV recently. Tim Burton's story is pure genius and the animation is insane. Nine years to make one cartoon... nine years. And Danny Elfman does all the music and singing too... absolute legend.

look, you don't have to be some pioneer reinventing the wheel just to get noticed... take The Strokes, for example. they aren't doing anything groundbreaking if you ask me... just some retro vibes and riffs that were played out decades ago. but people remember them because they triggered that whole revival movement or whatever. honestly, imagine if someone started pushing steam engines again and everyone went, "oh wow, retro is cool, let's ride that wave." give me a break. it's all just massive money grabs and gimmicks. those bands blow up because the major labels want them to. there's zero difference between them and those MTV pop stars... because that's exactly what they are. screw all of it.👎

some Roland drum machine two Akai samplers a Korg MS2000 plus some pathetic bassist playing a no-name rig but he’s gotta have a Bass Microsynth that's the whole "band" setup. just one guy
looking for more of his stuff... i've got Bodily Functions and Secondhand Sounds, so if anyone has other albums (especially Around the House and that one with the Big band) hit me up via PM for a trade. hope so.
