What would you rather watch for Christmas? in Movies ·
I’m itching to rewatch Dr. Seuss - How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The actual cartoon—not that CGI garbage with Jim Carrey or whoever else they cast. That animation is a total classic. Oh, and just to brag a little 😁 😁 , I finally picked up the Nightmare Before Christmas DVD this past Friday. Honestly? I'm pretty stoked about it.
How do you guys watch movies? in Movies ·
Theaters most often—usually just hitting up AMC—then DVDs from the local rental spot. I rarely bother with DivX because I can't be bothered staring at a computer screen for two hours when I could be watching on my TV. And no, I don't have the cables to hook my PC up to the TV. 😉

For anyone wondering, this track I put together is called Wonka's Welcome song. It's pretty catchy, I guess.

Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
The Amazing Chocolatier.
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
Everyone, let's hear it!

He’s humble, brilliant, and sharp—
Hardly able to keep it in check.
Given his sheer generosity,
There's just no way to hold it back...
To hold it back... to hold it back... to hold it back... to hold it back.

Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
He's the man you've been waiting to meet.
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
A total genius who simply can't be topped.
Part magician, part chocolate wizard...
Probably the finest guy to ever walk the earth.
Willy Wonka—here he is!

🙂 🙂

And wouldn't you know it—my brothers and my only true friends—it was the 9th. The glorious 9th of Beethoven. Honestly, it was pure perfection—just absolute bliss. I felt cured.

Alias (2001-2006) in TV Series ·

it’s honestly so similar to Nikita...

Of course it's similar! For those who don't know, Nikita came out first and was actually the first show to feature a female lead who truly kicks ass. 🙂 In Alias, they basically just ripped her off at this point—it's unbelievable!! 😠 So please, don't give me that "Nikita wasn't that good" crap; she paved the way, and 🙂 just because Alias is packed with big-name stars and aggressive marketing doesn't mean it's actually better!!
Every time I watched Nikita, I'd end up stunned—they just knew how to craft an episode so well that I had to sit there and process who actually said what and did what. And don't even get me started on the music... 🙏

I could go on and on, but I won't—this is supposed to be a thread about the "revered" Alias. I'm just getting sick of the whole "oh, it's like Nikita, but Nikita was this and that" routine.

That's my two cents. LFN RULZ!!

It’s gotta be Danny Elfman, hands down.👍 👍
Pearl Harbor in Movies ·
Man, when I first watched that madness, I was a wreck—crying like a baby by the end. But yesterday? I finally saw it for the absolute nonsense it actually is. I guess the only part that still holds any water is when Affleck’s sister jams that needle up his ass or when he goes nuts with his nose 😁
Skin issues help! in Health ·
I've been dealing with this annoying breakout situation on my chest and back for about four years now—not full-blown acne, just those tiny, irritating bumps. I've tried everything from showering daily to using Neutrogena, but honestly? No luck. A few people here suggested checking out that Unknown spa, so I’m planning to head there soon. I'm just wondering if I should see a dermatologist first, though—I already tried a clindamycin lotion, but it didn't really do much. Has anyone gone to that salon for this kind of thing? How do they actually clear it up... I'm really hoping they don't do it by hand (you know, squeezing out blackheads)...
Thanks! 👋
