Chloe Wilson11 said:hehe you totally misread me... I was actually one of the two guys deciding back eight years ago whether we were going with "listening room" or just "room." Even though the second one is shorter and easier to say, we felt the first version had more soul, plus it was technically more correct... ever since then, everyone at the club has just been saying "room," so what Emily Thomas3 wrote caught me off guard... It’s the same deal with how they used to charge for entry at the local dive bar versus how they do it now—just charging a cover fee. Personally, I preferred the old way, but I guess time just moved on, just like it did with those listening rooms. 😉
That stuff above sounded way too snobby. Not anymore, though.

I'm not going to be able to handle any more concerts looking like I just went ten rounds with a heavyweight after this. honestly, doesn't matter if it's some dive bar or a massive arena, as long as the music is full of that soul-crushing heartbreak...
Chloe Wilson11 said:Back in the day on the old forums, we always called it a "listening room," but over on the Swamp, everyone just called it a "listening ro..." honestly, looks like you younger crowd grew up on those Swamp listening rooms...
Give me a break! I swear, I see some weird stuff every time I log on. Total snob alert over on 27U.

Don't bother apologizing for being a chauvinist. If you're actually saying sorry, it usually means one of two things: you're packing a tiny or you've had way too many Kset beers
I honestly think the whole foundation of a breakup boils down to one thing: "respect." I mean, look, gentlepuma20 definitely respects me because I listen to some underground band she’s never even heard of, but that doesn't mean she's suddenly gonna start blasting them through her headphones. 😍
I don't judge people based on their taste in music, I judge them based on whether they're the type of person who judges others for their taste in music
By the way, there's this player over at some local outfit—think something like a mid-sized construction firm in Ohio—goes by Saša Six. And yeah, obviously, he wears number 6 on his jersey. Listening to those old-school radio broadcasts... man, that's the good stuff.

honestly, the real problem is that countries even exist :anarchy:
anyway, Ramirez, yeah, uh, I'm not feeling his voice. whatever.
I don't mind talking about what’s going down at the Bob Dylan show, but only if we're talking actual technical logistics. Like, if they need to haul a piano onto the stage or swap out the entire drum kit for a specific song, you can't just wing that kind of stuff on the fly. It'd take an hour just to get set up.

Look, let’s just be real about it. All the good ones? Already taken. Married. Gone. It’s basically a mathematical certainty at this point. It’s a pattern. You look around, and honestly? Every single one of those guys with the perfect hair and the model looks—they’re all gay. It’s just how it works. Every time. If you get what I'm saying, man.
Steven Johnson96 said:Blunt is the absolute truth. Anyone hating on him probably checked themselves into an asylum just to listen to trashy country music all day.
Just admit it, man. You’re the only one who didn't realize you were checking into the psych ward, so now you're blaming everyone else for being crazy.
